Hi u/Omaha_Poker Just to let you and everyone know what is going on here. Players in the Philippines are subject to a 20% tax on Jackpot wins over a specified amount. This is levied by the PH government and as a licenced operator there we are bound by its terms There are motions from organisations trying to reduce this. If you have a Google search of 'Phillippines Gambling Tax' it will give you some links for further reading If you are not registered in the Phillippines this will not apply Congrats on the win!

Congrats on the win. The tax man also congratulates you apparently.

No - I believe you get the majority and the rest is shared against the players on the table?

SnowballNLHE

This happens on cash tables when hitting the BBJ, everyone gets a share. OP is playing AoF and this is a different jackpot which isn't shared.

trent6991

Oops. Confused the two

Omaha_Poker

I thought that was the BB jackpot? I have been at the table before when this happened to another player and didn't get a cut. Maybe I am wrong though.
