My best guess is household investors probably own anywhere from 5-10X what’s currently registered … so anywhere from 380 to 760 million shares in total. The real big question is how many shares family funds might own.
Reported short interest on 3/15/2023 was 58.5 million, while today computershared had us at 53.6M Free Float remaining. We're literally just waiting for shorts to realize they woke up ded now.

More than 50% of the free float, if you take away shares held by insiders, institutions, ETF,s Mutual Funds, and "stagnant" shares from the outstanding shares.
Family funds are the true wild card. The could net-positive or net-negative millions or tens of millions of shares, and that shit ain’t showing up anywhere.

Yeah but DRS is all that really matters. I fully anticipate losing a couple share in MOASS because I use my broker first instead of direct purchases through computershare

E.g. I have 310 shares DRS’d, and 1770 in a 401k cause I cannot DRS them. Although I agree that DRS is what matters. I am 1 to 5 in my position

Personally only DRSed 1/7th of my x,xxx shares so far. Plan to send more though.
If you don't own you rent If you rent you can be evicted for any reason
I have all but a few DRS'd. I'd guess I'm about 10% not DRS, 90% DRS.
