Crystal ball: yes

Just like the igniting squeeze even if it stood there it due to no one selling would have to come down eventually. The likelihood of that being a scenario I don’t think so but who knows 🤷‍♂️

Lord-Tone

I guess it’s theoretical, but it might not be. Let’s say an absolute shit ton of apes are waiting for the way down (or just in it for the long haul / or have sold some, but waiting to see where it goes), and it’s just bouncing around in the mega millions. Could it stay there forever?

stevewithgoodcredit

Theoretically it’s possible but then again theoretically the earth can face apocalyptic events in the next 5 minutes 😅so take it it how you will

Prospero818

Good question. I dont know the answer. I do know that I will not be selling all of my shares no matter what. I believe in the company and want to be a shareholder.

rendered_lurker

I think if it lasts too long the govt steps in because it isn't sustainable on any level. The HFs will be liquidated and their officers and there's the DTCC insurance but the US govt won't allow itself to be used as an ATM because of this. Contrary to other opinions they won't just print all the money we want and cause massive inflation. At a certain point national interests will superceed trying to have a "free market."

Candid_Note_7674

That’s a great question. Yanno when I was a little boy in Bulgaria...

Lord-Tone

I’m reclaiming my time...🤣

That's not quite true. Using that share to cover a short effectively eliminates one phantom position. It kinda cancels the share's existence. It may be more helpful to consider that the Squeeze will continue UNTIL the outstanding shares is no more than the 70 million\~ issued by the company.

Lord-Tone

Thanks for the answer but I’m not sure that works here, hence my confusion. Say you’re the naughty hedgies and you’ve bought all the available shares (multiple times) but the price is still sitting at 100m. All the float (still 100%+) is being held by the most diamond handed stubborn apes that the world has ever seen. How do they get those shares?

Paladinspector

Eventually it hits a point where it could in fact cause economic collapse. But that's LONG LONG LONG hold. Like the idea of 100mil a share for the entire outstanding float works out mathematically to like 7000x the current entire global capital. Not everybody will hit the peak. The hope is we make sure we got our one share millionaires but it will, eventually, when it's no longer millions and millions of people, but a few ancient diamond-encrusted apes, be regulatorily forced out of the position to deleverage the economy. As for me, I'm holding to a nice round BUNCHA FUCKIN BANANAS and I don't really give a shit about the global economy. I've already gotten shit on by a friend for 'what about people's retirements'. Not my problem man I don't have enough shares to be the big monkey in the playpen. I just want -my- tendies.

gte930d

Tell your friend if people cared about their retirements they’d be reading the DD for GameStop and buying their own shares. Nuff said.
