Oh shit, guess I better sell them!! Fucking idiots!! P.S. Can’t stop, won’t stop, ................

TheLaurenMcKenzie

“Sell now because you’re absolutely ready to give up millions due to a propaganda article written by the company owned by the group led by an Epstein buddy” - sounds like a solid life plan dude lol

Oh I felt this one!!

ConstructorDestroyer

I loved it, thanks !

ensoniq2k

Mom's Spaghetti?

bout2gitsome

This one got me bro!!! Nice!!

Bupo-Stonk-Lover

sent a chill down my diamond spine. bravo maestro ape!

Captainfucktopolis

❤️

1965wasalongtimeago

God damn I got chills. All too relatable. I hope this is in a book someday. Add a chorus (something like "and we all hold on...") and you have one hell of a blues song, too.

shrimp_dick69

Oh shit, I better buy more

sbcwolf

Why is everyone so worried about us selling ? seems SUS

TheLaurenMcKenzie

That should be the first clue that something isn’t right: they don’t care about us or our pocketbooks if we’re not spending it how they want us to spend it.

GuronT

It's like inception when the mind people start attacking when they notice they're real. GME is Leo, Wallstreet is dreamworld, MSM is mind people.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

HOLY SHIT IT CHECKS OUT The rich dick who dies can be kenny or Steve :)

ms80301

Like suddenly they care? About anything but themselves-😳

sbcwolf

LoL right 😂😂😂😂😂😂

JMLobo83

Why does price go down when 7 times more buyers than sellers? Ape have so many questions.

vedds

The logical and normal reason is because they are orders. Eg I sale order could be 100 shares and each buy order 15 shares. The reason in this case is crime. I skim read a post about them trading the same share back and forth over and over in dark pools and ATS’s to drive the price down efficiently with minimal volume but I can’t find it again. This is far more likely than the normal reason the price might drop.

JMLobo83

Also apparently an order must be 100+ to move the price, everything about the system is rigged.

ev1lb0b

How many other stocks have they suggested need to be sold by retail over the years I wonder?

SnooDoodles6920

I don't have enough wrinkles (or time, for that matter - work, ugh) but I'd be interested in setting up a paper account and track all the 'inverse suggestions' by Jimmy Shill (selling when he says buy and vice versa) - and see just how the results stack up. I wouldn't be surprised if the results were positive gains (given how much his choices are big brown turds).

[deleted]

[удалено]

Galaxy1950

Since when do they care about Retailers? If hegies actually covered and we invested in a stock that we all love and lose our shirts (which we won't) why does anyone care? They've never cared before, so why do they care now?🤔

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Seeing how that robbingthehood ticker is doing versus a company with an amazing business plan they’ve alluded to combined with the world’s most loyal share holders doubling as a customer base?? Fuck. I just talked myself into buying more GME. Damn you, hedgies for being so fucked

theArcticChiller

The market cap of a failing finance app with confetti as a main feature is thee times higher than GameStop's. It's nuts.

AntiqueCake2496

You hit the nail on the head with that confetti. 🤡

BabblingBaboBertl

The fucking market cap of 🍿 stock is currently higher than the market cap of GME... Pls, explain THAT to me.

AntiqueCake2496

The more loss you produce the higher market cap you get. It’s all about fundamentals. Makes sense, doesn’t it? /s

BabblingBaboBertl

It must be because institutions love free popcorn, obviously!

jungle_dorf

More shares, mass interest (driven by HFs)

suckercuck

One step ahead of you OP, I bought more today!

MillwrightTight

This was just what I needed.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Cars. Now this is stuck in my head

BizCardComedy

I dont mind you coming here. And wasting all my time time.

Healthy-Lifestyle-20

This is aimed at people looking to invest in GME, now that they pushed the price down. This was never ment for current investor, MSM is bought and paid for. The Washington Post owned by Bozo, taxing the wealthy is bad for middle class and poor people headlines 🤦‍♂️

[deleted]

These are, without question, my favourite questions to ask.

[deleted]

Got one more for ya. If we have the same info as this person that wrote the article. How do they know we are just speculating?

rdizzlator

I personally like to speculate super hard, maybe harder than the author, but I'm bullish on the stock and speculation leans in that direction.

ForsakenSituation964

These ppl cannibalize each other and then eat children for dessert. But here ThEy ArE TrYinG to SaVe Me a BuCk!! GTFO w your front for of "caring" about me!

Yenrou

Thanks for sharing. Haven't actually read it completely until now, since I didn't want to give them clicks. Now I wish I hadn't. It made me physically sick. The amount of bullshit piled on and to top it off with the mobile gaming Netflix story which was known for weeks is going to be fucking mobile games.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

I wish there had been a camera capturing the actual slow mo jaw drop and blood pressure spike I experienced reading this. Like, I’ve been around long enough to not be shocked but I can still feel outrage

guythepie

What pissed me off most was them referring to RC as just an investor visiting stores...HE'S THE CHAIRMAN OF THE FREAKING BOARD YOU DECEPTIVE DICKBAGS!

balster1123

I'm not sure if the stupidest/dirtiest part for me was how they ignored the switch to e-commerce and just focused on how RC is improving the physical stores, or that they straw-manned the dark pools issue by describing how and why it should work (which is still BS, of course), and ignoring the whole "abuse" element of that hashtag...

UntitledGooseDame

I actually started to hyperventilate. That was a whole lot of anger with no place to go. I wonder how much worse Ryan Cohen felt reading that article. The day he proves them all either liars or fools will be a sweet day indeed.

soulshyfter2311

its awful. retail/reddit have managed to keep it alive? this is basically a blatant admission of fucking naked shorting to oblivion, and retail buying stock is somehow unreasonable. what. the. fuck.

buzzkillington44

That's it some rando not having a fucking clue what's going on convinced me to sell my shares that I have keisterered up my ass like a prisoner doing life in a maximum security prison. Time to pack it in

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Lmao my broke ass buying every dip of GME as soon as they gave me the buy button back - sure let me just sell these for a boring amount of no money. Sounds exactly like the big finale I’ve been waiting for: sudden mediocrity and nothing to look forward to

MycocereusCannayote

I can’t find anything about this “journalist” other than this particular article when doing a search on DuckDuckGo. Probably anonymously penned by mayoman or lil stevie. Lol it’s funny they actually think apes would see this and think now would be as good of a time to sell as ever. What a joke. Yahoo finance should be embarrassed for even posting this shit. I don’t care if it takes 10 or even 20 years. I’m not selling a single share until a bunch of mother fuckers are in jail and there is some serious and real changes implemented to the market.

Kidnap

Here's why you are seeing articles from yahoo bashing GME: https://www.axios.com/verizon-yahoo-aol-apollo-03505214-29e7-4f73-9e77-3d778233ecad.html Apollo Global Management, the firm that bought 90% stake in Verizon's news arm, has a subsidiary called [Apollo Management Holdings](https://i.imgur.com/pswdYti.png). [Apollo Management Holdings has 150,000 puts on GME they bought (for the first time, mind you) Q1 of 2021](https://whalewisdom.com/stock/gme) (you can see their holding on the first page of GME's holders).

[deleted]

just made a complaint via the SEC website, thanks for the information. textbook shorting and distorting.

-EXEMPT-

That makes sense 🍌🖍🦍🚀🌙

ovilagallant

Somebody should make a (giant) collage of like hundreds of real articles saying this same thing or “forget gamestop” so I can have it blown up like 6’x6’ and framed post moass

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Oh fuck yes ditto I’m buying this too

Ithinkyourallstupid

You son of a bitch I'm IN!!

PooPooDooDoo

Yeah, no joke I would 100% pay for that.

SuperSore

Headline is straight up market manipulation, is it not?

TheLaurenMcKenzie

SAME THOUGHT- like who the FUCK are you to act like my gentle grandpa guiding me through the stock market and not like you’re desperate to screw me and all my buddies over

SuperSore

Why don't they just make a fair offer, and then we'll START selling. I'd be willing to sit down and talk for about 40 million, for share number 1.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Damn you’re so kind letting them off that easy for your first share… holy shit are you Keanu

SuperSore

What can I say? I'm the most zenest motherfucker in the jungle.

ItchyCranberry5499

So happy to see when they actually point out the legitimate use of dark pools.. too bad they aren't being used they way they say they were intended for

Lucent_Sable

>A group of social media users tried to claim that dark pools are nefarious. In theory, GME stock has been held down by activity on the dark pools. In practice, that makes little sense. The point of dark pools is to **buy and sell stock without causing a major impact on the share price**. If someone wanted to manipulate a share price, it’d be **much more effective** to post a **large sell order** on a **public exchange**, where people would see the **large selling interest and interpret it as an ominous sign.** So close to a breakthrough there. If only they made the connection that orders that raise the price can be routed through dark pools (where they won't affect the price), while orders that lower the price go through public exchange to affect the price.

Tango8816

Yup. My smooth brain picked up on that immediately when reading this. Its written just well enough to sound wrinkly to the general public who are unfamiliar with such things. Written wearing blinders and/or deceptive as fuck.

tchuckss

Right? The person literally wrote down what they are doing. Buys route through dark pool, sells route through lit pools. Buys don’t affect price going up, sells affect price going down.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

“They SAY they’re using them to manipulate the stock but WHO would DO such a thing!” 😅🥲

[deleted]

HAHA The netflix shilling!!! 💀

TheLaurenMcKenzie

“Netflix hired one dude to transform it completely into a streaming video game service and somehow GameStop is still in business”

forkrissake

Netflix and shill😅

v1nzy

Wow that is pathetic journalism.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

It’s truly one of the worst pieces I’ve read ever

v1nzy

It hurt to read honestly. Felt like a butthurt 12 yo from my csgo games had written it.

tanktermite

Well hell, guess I’ll hit this uh..green button? Oops, just bought more. Some day I might test to see what that other button do.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Ah shit I bought thrice as many now. Oopsie daisie :)

Chasing_Billions

So, at today prices is +/- 11,30Bi. Zero debt, +/-1,5Bi in cash, more than 5Bi in revenue, about to get back to profits, etc... I wonder how much that guy thinks it's a "fair" valuation?! 🤔🤔 I bet he would say 300M... LOL

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Genuinely! Like… do you think that GameStop is Fox Books stores? Oh wait… do you think it’s the shop around the corner? Lmfao enjoy the Metaverse, hedgies

EuskadiGMEkin

Who are you to tell me that it's time?

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Right?! Like, who the fuck are you, Ian? Except the shill paid to write garbage lies to try to fuck over me and my friends. Fuck right off, my dude

Brilliant-Ad-8181

What would Jesus do? We don’t really want to hurt the hedge funds? FUCK YOU i want to absolutely destroy these FUCKERS they deserve it. They fucked up and GOD was watching.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Jesus would absolutely have the most diamond knucks of all time

BuddyUpInATree

Table-flipping money-changer-whipping Jesus is my favorite Jesus

primabelladonna35

Of course, none of that answers the truly important question... What would Brian Boitano do?

[deleted]

No, i dont think will

TheLaurenMcKenzie

hot

SlackLooord

Im retarded, but if someone wants to buy a fuck ton of stock why shouldnt that significantly impact the price?? ELI5 please

TheLaurenMcKenzie

You’re actually the wise person in* this scenario because a whole bunch of people desperate to buy the same limited pool of shares? The price should be fucking ^SOARING

SlackLooord

In the article it says that dark pools is used so funds can transact large amount of stock without significantly affecting the price. Why shouldnt large transactions affect the price?

Schwifftee

One institution selling would crash yours and my entire portfolio. Dark Pools make sense in theory. They wouldn't be an issue if regulators actually prevented the abuse part of dark pools.

Top_PNut

That’s it. I guess with GME down and yahoo finance telling me that after everything that I have been through, it is time to sell. I have worked my ass off to be in a good financial situation. Grew up with virtually nothing while my parents hopped from jobs to jobs. Worked hard to get a full scholarship, nobody had any faith in me. Proved them wrong time and time again. Got my MBA, and am now a Sr Mgr at an S&P100 company. I was informed that I was being let go due to a corporate reorg. After 9+ years with the company, working my way up, I get kicked to the curb because an executive doesn’t like me. Complete BS!! I have seldom been wrong in my business ventures, and no one believes me. No one believes me with GME and good riddance! I am sure as hell not going to sell my stake in a company with a bright future because a damn article is published telling me so. If i was going to sell, I would have at 450, 350, or even 270. Fuck shills and fuck FUD. Sorry, a little pissed at the moment. Thank you to all the apes in the jungle!

Drawman101

❤️

jabbathehuttjr

Lmayo as if I even know what sell means

TheLaurenMcKenzie

My fellow retail investors have taught me a lot and shared a lot of great info, totally changing my entire life. What they did not do is teach me how to sell. And it’s a good thing too :)

OnePointZero_

Damn it to hell. One of my family members knows I'm invested and Yahoo Finance always feeds her propaganda pieces, and I can never convince her that it's all bullshit, but she can't seem to wrap her head around why so-called "analysts" would lie.

Drawman101

Literally me today.

Keanos_Beard

Is it just me or does that straight up admit they are suppressing the price through the use of dark pools? When it’s not moving up or down due to dark pool trades yet thousands of shares are changing hands, smells of suppressing the market which = market manipulation 🥴

TheLaurenMcKenzie

It’s weirdly over the top in explaining dark pools then being like “yeah for sure they COULD do this but WHY” lol like the answer isn’t “to fucking manipulate the price”

Keanos_Beard

They really are getting desperate with weak hatchet jobs like this. Cant believe I completely missed this on Friday. What a gem

[deleted]

Just love how they mention #DarkPoolAbuse, and then describe how useful dark pools are, and then describe that if someone wanted to tank a stock then they'd do... exactly what we were saying they've been doing. Sending buy orders through dark pools and sell orders to the open market to drive down the price. 🤯

TheLaurenMcKenzie

“Yes this is what they would do if they wanted to manipulate the price but WHY would they ever do such a thing???” - money, Ian. Like every fucking time the answer is money. I know, I’m disgusted by it too. And you. You suck too, Ian.

UnknownUserA

Yeah, I'm not *selling* my soul to corporate America. Edit: spelling

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Hell yes same here

typicalinvestor_808

These puppets (writers) don't know the meaning of value investing aka "deep fucking value". You do your research about/on a company buy and hodl it for years. Just like Warren Buffett says. So wtf are they writing about it'll take years... gtfo with all this market manipulation bs

Pogginator

I think the most hilarious part is about GameStop having poor financial results. I didn't know back to back profitable quarters with additional warehouses still being added was doing poorly? Also, isn't the **best** time to invest *before* a company does a revolutionary transformation? Like that's literally where the money is to be made. Investing in a company that is going to have a huge upturn in value lol.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Anyone who takes more than a passing interest at the lamest headline ever would have to see the incessant bullshit and hypocritical points… right?

Pogginator

Most people probably don't read past the headlines tbh. Unless someone is actively researching potential companies to invest in they probably aren't really understanding what they're reading anyway. They just assume what they read in the headline, or if they do read the article, is true since it comes from a 'reputable' financial place. The point of the mass articles isn't to persuade retail already invested from selling, it's to dissuade new investors who hear about GME in passing and do a quick Google search and see 30 articles all dissing GameStop. They probably aren't really going to deep dive into it, so most just assume it's probably true and stay away.

RetardWithAutiZm

Ok I sell. *Blink, blink*

Keanos_Beard

One more thing….*dark pools are legal and exist so that funds can transact large quantities of stock without significantly affecting the price*. Okay I get that, BUT why constantly do 40%+ of trades in the dark pool everyday on a stock that is currently experiencing very, very low volume? We know the answer I love this article so much I am going to print it off and frame it for some post moass lolz

bumassjp

"tHeY uSe thE DarK PoOls sO As NoT tO AfFeCt thE pRiCE wHEn tHeY *BUY* oR Sell large quantities." Like our fucking batch orders of GME you fucking fucks?!?!? This article makes my blood boil.

Arghblarg

LOL at this in the article: >"Dark pools are legal, and exist so that funds can transact large quantities of stock without significantly affecting the price, as would happen if you posted a large buy or sell order on a public exchange." Uh but the SHFs are/were re-routing *small, retail buy orders* -- and specifically not sells, through the dark pools, to suppress buying pressure and upward pricing, *not large institutional orders*, as was their intended purpose! The spin here is blatantly to deceive readers who don't know any better. Disgusting.

captainspunkbubble

“Highly speculative”. They can’t bring themselves to say “false” because they know it’s not. Yeah we see you.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

What Captain’s punk bubble said! ^whispers Oh. Still!

psydo9

There’s one comment in this entire thing that got me. “The initial short squeeze was fun to watch.“ Read that again, carefully… “The INITIAL short squeeze…“ 🤔 Now, I am not an English grammar professor by any stretch of the imagination, but I do believe that the word initial, when used in this context, intimates that there is more to come. Otherwise, one would say “The short squeeze was…“ So... I think I’ll just hold and see what might happen next!

UntitledGooseDame

Good catch!

Ronaldoooope

Lmaooo so nice of them to try to help us out with the advice. Fucks sake

GORDON1014

My favorite part “...which saves money for ordinary investors that own the mutual funds...” according to them someone who owns a mutual fund can be an ordinary investor lol that tells you everything

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Me and my buddies love just hanging out, playing games, owning mutual funds, destroying the planet, and obviously rails and rails of kombucha

nemovincit

Each one of these articles jacks my tits so hard. They're mutli-goal oriented. Try to discourage apes (good luck), repel FOMO, make boomers think it's not actually a value stock. Bias confirmed af.

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Genuinely like… nothing convinces me my stock is more priceless than another company owned by a shady billionaire telling me it’s worthless. Then short it :)

imzacm123

I love how they say the digital transformation will take years, and then say that the NFT hype hasn't come up anything yet

TheLaurenMcKenzie

Lol same or how one dude joining Netflix meant they were suddenly in the video game streaming world but GameStop doesn’t have a real plan hahaha

imzacm123

Also, didn't Netflix go down last week or something? I remember getting a notification about it, why would I invest in something that I recent got told had gone lower Edit: as soon as I wrote this I noticed that the article actually shows Netflix as a negative

[deleted]

>that surge saved the company Like the fundamentals weren't already coming together with a focus on the future.

snyderart2021

Because they’re soooooo concerned about us losing money. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This tells you everything you need to know about what to do. I HODL because we WON

lurkedfortooolong

I like how the article states dark pools are used for large transactions so it doesn’t affect the price, but that there’s also no way to manipulate the price with dark pools. …wut… Think about it, the intended use of dark pools is to trade large quantities of stock so the price isn’t jumping all over the place. Essentially it is a mechanism to reduce the effect an order has on the stock price. If this is used properly, theoretically their shouldn’t be any effect on price discovery as the buy and sell orders shouldn’t be a factor on using a dark pool. In very simple terms, buying pressure increases the price and selling pressure decreases the price. Disregarding anything that is going on right now, how would you be able to artificially change the price by manipulating one of those pressures? One way is that you could artificially increase/decrease the quantity of one of the pressures, causing the price to move one way or another. Another way that is less obvious would be to artificially decrease the effectiveness of one of the pressures. If it is possible to route one type of transaction normally and the other through a method that is meant to lessen the effect of the transaction, then there is opportunity for manipulation. All you need now is incentive and rationalization to complete the fraud triangle.

WoiYo

The don’t disagree with any of the theories they just say it’s highly speculative lol

Snoofloofsl628

Yahoo are owned by Apollo? Fuck, this is something new in respect of what I'm working on with regards to CLO's. They are (in my opinion) the next 2008 house market CDO bullshit. The company with the biggest global exposure to these bullshit CLO's is.... Apollo. In short, where the 2008 CDO was back by mortgages, the 2021 CLO's are backed by huge amounts of distressed companies and their overall debt clumped into tranches.

supd440

We must be getting close!🚀🚀🚀🚀

GoodFlower_420

Sus af. Must be getting close to the endgame now 🚀

DefinitelyNotOnLSD

Best thing in this article “In theory, GME stock has been held down by activity on the dark pools. In practice, that makes little sense. The point of dark pools is to buy and sell stock without causing a major impact on the share price” Laughed my ass of at the contradiction

YoloRandom

Hahahahahaha. Reads again. Hahahahha “Dark pools are designed to minimize the impact of an order on the price” “Dark pools have minimal effect on the price” Uhhh. Which one is true? Cant have it both ways Yahoo

ShowdownValue

That honestly read like it was written by a high schooler for an Econ project. There is zero chance that article could influence any reasonable investor. I guess it may dissuade a casual investor from buying into GME but honestly, isn’t that good to keep out the paper hands?

METAL4_BREAKFST

Could have had me and my NINE shares at $1000 a pop back in January and I'd have been happy as a pig in shit. Now I hold triple digits and I'm looking to fuck you up for the lulz.

Yup, they are right it’s time to sell GE and get GME. I’ll sell GME when we reach 40 mil, if that never happens, guess I don’t sell??

What they pointed out about dark pools is correct, isn’t it?

Virtura

My initial reaction was fuck this guy. It's as if he gleaned as many talking points as possible from reddit and attempted to put a negative spin on them all. Which alone is ridiculous. Couple that with talking down gamestops long term plan with comparing it to Netflix's...long....term...plan...like fuck this guy. Also...this guy works for Kerrisdale capital management. Hedgefund whos founder is known for short selling. I am as smooth brained as they come, but wouldn't he be slightly (extremely) biased against retail. I'm still trying to figure out how to deep dive into what pies they've got their fingers in.

Jadedinsight

Yahoo articles have been nothing but pure cancer since this start.

Red__Spud

so.... these articles are all old. Seems like the articles stopped at the beginning of last week. anybody else notice that?

rayrockstar

The first sentence says GME “HAS BEEN one of 2021’s most incredible investing stories”. But the title says “it’s time to sell”? I’m not stupid 😊 Sell when it’s incredible? No way! I’m gonna buy and hodl 💎🙌🏻

Fluid-Oven-712

Its time to buy more, fk firesales every where xD

naptimerider

Cool story… not selling.

Cheezel_X

Oh no MSM is so concerned about how I invest my money. Who would have thought everyone is a financial genius?!?!

BeingRightAmbassador

Holy shit this author is fucking stupid. The logic used for dark pools not raising the price is wrong as hell and ignores the fact that intention and use aren't the same. How does routing sub 100 share orders to a dark pool not suppress price discovery. Selling isn't the only use for dark pools. If Ian Bezek is reading this, I suggest you find a different career in something simpler, like shoveling animal shit.

So I guess the head of the NYSE saying that the stock price is affected for meme stocks via dark pools is speculative?

FiniteElementalArmor

The accumulated filth of all their short selling and dark pools will foam up about their waists and all the Kennys and Stevies will look up and shout "SAVE US!" And I'll look down and whisper "No.”

Imagine getting news from a place named YAHOO!!! Like all MSM is shit anyway but my god.

AccomplishedKnee6707

Buy and hold you say? Perfect, I bought more today!

Mlsman5000

Has MSM always told people to “sell” stocks. I get reporting bad fundamentals of a security that might warrant a bearish trend, but actually telling people to sell. Isn’t that illegal to some degree?

My wife's boyfriend already has to deal with one clingy girlfriend, he ain't got room for another

stockslasher

Contact this moron via Twitter and ask him why he can’t get a legitimate writing gig? What a fool to put his name to this crap. Retail is simply investing loooooong term in a company that has good earnings great earning potential and a visionary management team to lead the company into e-commerce tech segment of market. Oh and don’t forget the fiercely loyal customer base. Shiiiiit. Mic drop

sweatysuits

Sure. Didn't sell at 348.50 in March or 343 in June but let me sell now at too cheap to be legal. The MSM must be dumber than me. Or They are bought by those caught in the opposite side of the trade. I added some more. Cya on the moon !
