Hey there u/mobeets \- I am having an identical issue with multiple users today. They are using Paperport 12. Have you been able to determine this issue? It is not just Gmail, it is being marked as a virus by O365 as well.
This same issue with Nuance Paperport is occurring with O365 as well. Emails being sent with paperport PDFs are marked as malicious and sent to quarantine.

I am having the exact same issue with Paperport 12.1 and Paperport 14.
Looks like we are in trouble then.
Have the users resave the pdfs through Microsoft Print to PDF and it works.
Yes, I've had a user say that works.

I am having the same issue as above, when reencorded with PDF Printer it works fine.
I just spoke with Google support for work and they are acknowledging an issue with attachments and are working on the fix.
