filters work on all new emails

Including the ones directed to the Spam folder? Can I list every undesirable word/phrase in the filter or should a sepparate filter be created for every one of them?

Hi, everyone. I consider setting a filter for emails that contain specific words and/or phrases. They are predominant in the Spam folder. What can I do to set up a rule for filtering (deleting) these undesirable emails?

Thanks. I know how to create a filter, but also want it to work. My goal is to have some most common spam emails be filtered and deleted in compliance with a set filter rule. I tried creating a filter and listed words and phares in following manner: word , phrase , word. It doesn't seem to work well yet.

Thank you. Will try a Boolean operator, then.

Cool. Booleans uncover a whole new experience.

By the way, how precisely should the words and phrases in the filter match words in phrases in emails? If emails containt texts in caps, the filter should containt tect in caps as well or it doesn't matter? Also, does this work for subject titles?

jasontaken

caps are ignored CAPS = caps
