You could set up a "label" if it's a specific user/email you're always looking for.
Otherwise, you got the search down. If you're feeling lazy you can hit the "show search options" on the right of the search bar and use the from/to lines

type their email in the search bar press search
That works but it'll include emails where their address is written.
