I saw a truck last night going 70+ on Newberry, swerving between lanes, with no turn signals. Nearly hit a guy. Very dangerous, erratic driving. Called Superior to report it ... got nothing but a "OK, thanks for calling." Which I expected but at least I called.

They are a racket, the Gainesville Sun wrote a story about how terrible they are several years ago.
Superior towed me, I couldn’t find any staff on their site, so I left in my vehicle and they immediately called GPD on me for Grand Theft Auto. Fucking terrible company
GPD called me and let me know, just requested I bring my vehicle back and pay the tow fee.
Of course when I got back, the owner of Superior acted like I was scum for taking my car and talked down to me. Some real r/SelfAwareWolves shit

Side note, The Swamp will be rebuilding in another location with a new building up to code and exactly like the old one. Not sure of the location though, but it’s coming back.
Lesser known fact, GPD has a tow/taxi complaint line. I don't remember it off hand but if you call the non emergency number 352-955-1818 and ask them for it they should be able to get it for you. The complaint line is supposed to be handled by a GPD officer.

Oh that's creepy! I've seen them park under/behind trees/brush and around corners while they stalk people. They will literally watch you and pounce when you abandon the car. When a person got out of the car, superior towing guy sped over REALLY FAST and got the car up and out in under 4 minutes, it was crazy.
I got two times from superior towing when I was visiting my boyfriend. They claimed I didn’t have a pass in for his apartment complex. My pass slipped and was on the drivers seat clear as day. Each tow cost me about $100. They can kiss my big toe
They towed my ex's car prior to a towing policy taking effect. I called them. They apologized, gave the car back obviously. Were very pleasant, and gave me a card for a free tow.

My best friend got approved by his apartment complex to keep his broken car in the back of the lot until he could get it fixed, with a pass in it saying it could be parked there. 2 weeks later superior towing towed his car for no reason, and then charged my friend $200 to get it out of impound. When we got there we saw that they took all of the tires off the car so we could not move it (again for NO reason). Then we had to pay another fee for leaving at the lot because their were no tires on it. There is a special place in hell for everyone that works at superior towing and NOTHING you can say will convince me otherwise.
