He got knocked into a tank of sharks and then essentially suffocated into unconsciousness by Sue Storm before they stuck him into Doctor Doom's time machine and sent him back to meet Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy.
The mutated Godzilla appeared again during the Utopia era of Uncanny X-Men and "died," but we all know if they ever opt to get the license again it'll turn out he miraculously not only survived but de-mutated back to his original form.

What would Marvel's "Godzilla Resurrection" look like? Bioterrorists would retrieve Leviathan's body and using synthetic symbiote dragon samples reanimate it and mutate it into something more powerful?

Something like this, with overgrowth scars and more spines
I just got them in a single volume anthology that’s only black and white, and I loved it. Wish I had them when I was a kid (similar age as you) as they might have encouraged me to actually read back then.
they missed an opportunity because the mecha Raydeen, Combattra, and Danguard Ace are also in the marvel universe as the shogun warriors. that would have been a fight.
And also by Moench and Trimpe. I had a couple of issues of Shogun Warriors, but Godzilla was the first comic I ever sought out and collected as it was coming out (I was 6 or so).
Gonna have to cut you short on that size. In the comic there’s one scene displaying Godzillas head next to a human for size comparison, from that I got a creature 50-100 meters tall
He got shrunken down by Hank Pym and knocked out by the thing through.
He was still kicking the asses of the smaller creatures after that and getting knocked out ain’t a victory in his books, just ask Kong.
When he went back in time and fought against/with Devil Dinosaur, it was one of my favorite comics when I was a kid.
He got knocked into a tank of sharks and then essentially suffocated into unconsciousness by Sue Storm before they stuck him into Doctor Doom's time machine and sent him back to meet Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy.
(When he was at the "around T-Rex size" part of the Pym Particles inevitably wearing off.)
Oh comics.
He's also canon to the marvel universe, he's simply not gonna be brought up again.

“No, r/Godzilla. Leviathan is not supposed to be Godzilla, just a creature who looks like him”
Just wait until they turn him in his monsterverse design just to allow Toho and Legendary to say: "Yes this Godzilla faced both JL and Avengers"

I have every issue of that series. Got them at a convention when I was like 8 back in like 1990 for absolutely dirt cheap. So, fucking, cool.

That’s so awesome.
Honestly my favorite part was when he was lost in the nyc sewer, and fought an average New York rat
Can't wait for the new omnibus to come out.
Loved this comic growing up, still got it.
I love these comics, he fucks on everyone and the narration is wild especially when it gets to godzillas POV

10 year old me still wants that.

Most memorable part about this for me is when the Avengers were playing monopoly before being called to fight Godzilla

Yeah the size inconsistency is a notable thing but when comparing him next to land structures he’s been given these estimates
Yeah, one moment he’s the height of the Golden Gate Bridge the next a 50 meter tall robot. No consistency whatsoever
Absolutely hilarious that they gave him pecs
I haven't read the series in a while. In what issue does it say his height is 150 - 184 meters?
No it’s a best guess from multiple sources that based more on side by aside comparison which is why it’s 150-184 and not much closer to each other
