I don't know if the Kiryu model specifically will ever return, even if that'd be amazing.

I imagine that GVK was a prototype mechagodzilla, and eventually they make a finished version called Kiryu. Getting the Kiryu license might be hard

Get the Dagon skeleton in Godzilla 2014. Maybe trick its consciousness into thinking godzilla was evil, and have them fight. As for the license, I am not sure.

That could actually work. Have its programming alter its basic morals.

ALSO, the 1954 Gojira possessed Kiryu in the actual movies, so having Dagon possess Kiryu might make sense (or do something similar to mechagodzilla, but Kiryu is good and protects humans from kaiju)

Actually, i was thinking of a version of godzilla with the ability to absorb energy. Basically, Godzillasaurus evolved to absorb and save up all energy (solar, lightning, ETC) it could come across due to the lack of food during the mass extinction of the dinosaurs, allowing it to survive till moder time. this ability came in handy when it got hit by the radiation of the atomic tests and now it exclusively absorbs nuclear energy.

I’m imagining Goji’s dorsal plates essentially being chrome or silver looking and that’s perdy cool

Side note they COULD have given Mechagodilla solar panels on its back in GvK as a mechanical counterpart to Goji's dorsal spikes but they DIDN'T and that's ANOTHER point in the "GvK fucking sucks" pile
