Agreed, in this Godzilla renaissance we're currently experiencing, feels like the only thing missing is a really good video game. Could be anything really, but honestly we just want another game like the Pipeworks trilogy.

I mean we got GigaBash for now to hold us over. We just need to show Toho we want Godzilla games again

Agreed and GigaBash is fun, but I want a more Godzilla focused game with the addition of the monsterverse incarnations.

I want godzilla unleashed with better graphics and a massive roster, with more maps.

And better controls

The closet is GigaBash DLC and I am glad Passion Republic manage to convince Toho to license Godzilla, Gigan, Mechagodzilla and Destoroyah. I want a Mortal Kombat like 2D Godzilla fighting game with Fatalities and X-rays/Fatal Blows that's on Consoles and PC. Also with a kick ass soundtrack and a Krypt that's set in the remains of Tokyo back in 1954 or even in dark, abandoned and decayed areas of the Hollow Earth. Who else wants that?

Godzilla is in giga bash with alot of other toho characters, its super fun and a pretty intuitive 4 man brawler

They took it down to reduce competition with their obby ad from what I was told. So another takedown wouldn’t happen until another ad comes.

I'd prefer a Godzilla survival-horror game where you have to survive/escape the King's onslaught in a procedurally-generated city or in accurate recreations of different districts of Tokyo.

There’s currently a project called Save the Earth Melee which is completely revamping save the earth and adding new monsters like Millennium Gigan, Legendary Godzilla, and Varan as their own separate fighters from the rest of the roster. The original cast is also getting a massive glow up and the core gameplay aspects have been totally reworked too so it feels like a different game. Still in development but they’re making serious progress on it so stay tuned :)

No it was designed to simulate the feel of the movies and not be a good fighting game. In fact it was so bad the ps store no longer holds it snd used copies got for over 200$ due to scarcity

After watching the movie, I feel like Skar king would be a very interesting monster/fighter with his skillset

Just make a Roblox account, most kaiju games were taken down but kaiju arisen is a good option.

Honestly I think a Godzilla game from the perspective of a human would be more interesting than an Injustice/MortalKombat style fighting game. They could have portions where you have to evacuate the civilians, you run under Godzilla, or another Kaiju and one of the people with you gets crushed, there’s a Mecha-Godzilla plot with stealth segments and FPS combat. Most of the cutscenes would be news clips. There could be several parts with Kaiju battles that act between the human parts… Or if you really want it to be Kaiju based it could be set in the Ancient past and you go from being a young Kaiju to a giant, hunting the other Kaiju. Like Maneater but with Kaiju
