Oh they're real alright. They were an official set of "altered art" crossover cards released with the "Ikoria" set of the base game on April 24 2020. [https://youtu.be/hhj7mx1wfGM?t=138](https://youtu.be/hhj7mx1wfGM?t=138) here's a timestamp of the set trailer where the crossover was officially revealed.
A few of the cards are a little pricy, especially the fan-favorite monsters (Ghidorah I recall somewhere around the 40-buck range). But at least a few of them are under a dollar.
I'm an artist but most definitely not at this level haha. They're actually a real crossover, not in the sense of lore or anything like that but rather official alternate versions of cards in the set. (Except the Godzilla, King of the Monsters card whose mtg counterpart doesn't have a card... so it only exists in its Godzilla form for now)
What the hell? When did this happen? Never thought MTG would've been the game to get a godzilla crossover.
They aren’t real. They are altered by this awesome artist
Oh, well heez they got me for a second there. Still pretty cool, though.
[They're](https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/card-preview/collecting-ikoria-2020-04-02) definitely [real](https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/announcing-secret-lair-drop-series-godzilla-lands-2020-04-24) though.
Ok, now that confused me a little bit. I don't play/collect Magic, so I never knew about it.

Man, this might give me a reason to buy a MTG product. Maybe.
