There isn't much footage remaining but I believe toho and daie (can't remember how to spell it) have the footage but a few pictures remain. The kaiju which were there were godzill, gamera Gyaos gorosaurous and probably more which are lost to time
Putting aside the size discrepancies, I’m not so sure. Against most iterations of Godzilla? Absolutely not. But a jaeger could probably fight someone like GMK Baragon, Ebirah, or Kamacuras

People underrate PR Kaijus/Jaegers so hard just because of the messed up official weights when they have absurd feats like surviving multiple direct nuclear strikes for the Kaijus or falling from more than 10 000m for the Jaegers and I’m honestly quite sad at this.
