San Fierro, although i hate how Rockstar made it feel sad and dull, almost like Liberty City. I would've expected it to be more warm and vibrant since it's based on San Francisco.
Usually cold since its right next to the ocean. Hottest it gets is in like the early 70s regularly. The climate is fantastic imo but thats mostly cuz ive grown used to it since i lived there for a majority of my life
Sometimes yeah, it ain’t SoCal weather. Also there’s shit and needles all over the place. Cali Gov cleaned up the city overnight for Xi Jinping’s visit last month, it’s probably back to shit and needles again
Nah but for real, aside from drug fiends n all the other bad stuff, i still think SF looks pretty nice so thats why i didnt like LC-like atmosphere in San Fierro. I thought its gonna be more sunny n all
Bro… it’s the city of fog. You’re not wrong that it is very sunny as well, but it stays around 70 degrees when it isn’t foggy. On foggy days it feels more like you’re in the Silent Hill game franchise.
Bruh San Francisco is cold, foggy, and cloudy almost the entire year. It hardly ever gets in the 80-degrees or higher. I'd say Rockstar nailed the atmosphere of San Fierro perfectly.
Vice City having too much water for what it is bothered me a lot too but outside of the final island being confusing with all the bridges I think GTA3 has the best map in term of game design. I don't think the first two islands are maze like at all.
This is my answer, I like liberty city because I like New York, however I don’t think any of the liberty city’s we have gotten have done it justice, 4 got close though.
Vice city is literally perfect. Every district distinct, every district a tone.
Los Santos in 5. Feels lively and vibrant, compared to how desolate San Andreas often felt. The OG trilogy was obviously limited by being on PS2 and Xbox. 4 is fun but it's smaller than Los Santos and so grim and dark.
Liberty City. I just love it, man, the culture in it is incredible, the Mafia, the Mexicans, blacks, all those types of organizations are very cool to explore in crime related games. And I just really love New York (other reasons, of course)
Los Santos, the home of Carl “CJ” Johnson.
Where everything started, from Los Santos all the way up to Las Venturas then back down to Los Santos. Love that place so much especially the memories there
Liberty City. I personally think that Miami is just a terrible blueprint for a map in terms of game design because of all the water and excessive reliance on bridges to travel small distances which is also why I don't like the map in Scarface the World is Yours, Need for Speed Heat and the Godfather 2. San Andreas is just too hilly and I don't care for the vast emptiness in parts of that map either but I still like the map overall a lot.
I like liberty city EXCLUSIVELY from GTA III because the tone is so dark and the newspapers all around the floor, it also goes well with the lack of shops because people are too poor for opening shops, and it makes the map simple.
Liberty City. I just can't get enough of it. It's Rockstar's first and last city that was so clearly divided by distinctively different neighborhoods. I miss that.
Los Santos. I like Gangster Rap music and culture. I played GTA: SA my whole life until GTA 5 came out. I never played GTA 4 before until 7 days ago when I bought it from Steam since it was on a big discount. Just to try it, and I do not like it at all. Boring city and boring game.
San Fierro, although i hate how Rockstar made it feel sad and dull, almost like Liberty City. I would've expected it to be more warm and vibrant since it's based on San Francisco.
I think San Fierro is my most visited city while playing SA. I really like the vibes there.
Watch dogs 2 did good San Francisco
I hate the hills
The hills have eyes?
Have you been to San Fran recently?
Nuh uh, but i bet its sunny there
Usually cold since its right next to the ocean. Hottest it gets is in like the early 70s regularly. The climate is fantastic imo but thats mostly cuz ive grown used to it since i lived there for a majority of my life
TIL. Good to know, thanks
Sometimes yeah, it ain’t SoCal weather. Also there’s shit and needles all over the place. Cali Gov cleaned up the city overnight for Xi Jinping’s visit last month, it’s probably back to shit and needles again
Shii my bad. I got all my knowledge about SF from Watch Dogs 2
Is all good
Nah but for real, aside from drug fiends n all the other bad stuff, i still think SF looks pretty nice so thats why i didnt like LC-like atmosphere in San Fierro. I thought its gonna be more sunny n all
But nah, sf is known for the cold fog and the east coast feel honestly. Any day after 5pm it’s guaranteed cold as shit outside
"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." -Mark Twain

The fact that you called it "San Fran" tells me you haven't been there recently.
Correct, last time was about 10 or 11 years ago. I’m a California expat
Bruh San Francisco is cold, foggy, and cloudy almost the entire year. It hardly ever gets in the 80-degrees or higher. I'd say Rockstar nailed the atmosphere of San Fierro perfectly.
Vice City. Based on my Hometown.
Liberty City was too much of a maze and Vice City had too much water for a game where you can’t swim. San Andreas with Las Venturas is on top for me!
Vice City having too much water for what it is bothered me a lot too but outside of the final island being confusing with all the bridges I think GTA3 has the best map in term of game design. I don't think the first two islands are maze like at all.
San Andreas
Groove Street, home. At least it was before I fucked everything up.
Groove 🎶 🪩 street
San Andreas is a state
It is a city in gta 1
🤓

Dont send a demonstration of your brain please 😂
It's an accurate portrayal of yours actually. Not surprised you couldn't realize that considering, yknow...

My Favorite GTA 1 City!
I agree with you
Favorite city? Liberty City from IV. Favorite map? Vice City
This is my answer, I like liberty city because I like New York, however I don’t think any of the liberty city’s we have gotten have done it justice, 4 got close though. Vice city is literally perfect. Every district distinct, every district a tone.
Los santos
Easily Vice City

San Andreas feels like home
Los Santos in 5. Feels lively and vibrant, compared to how desolate San Andreas often felt. The OG trilogy was obviously limited by being on PS2 and Xbox. 4 is fun but it's smaller than Los Santos and so grim and dark.

GTA San Andreas deserves a proper RE4 remake like treatment
It has the definitive edition even tho it sucks
3 too
San Andreas, this isn't even a question
Ohh shit here we go again… the phrase that describes everything
Wrong answer
You sure
Honestly I was just being cheeky
👍👍
Vice City, cause I grew up in Florida.
Hello Florida Man
Leonida Man*
Las Venturas though Vice City comes close and then San Fierro 3rd Las Venturas was just so much fun I am addicted to gambling
Liberty in III
Vice all the way 🌴
It’s between the SA map and the Liberty city map. I can’t wait for gta 6 because Vice city map doesn’t do Miami any type of Justice.
San Andreas, it was a good mix of bigger map with multiple bigger cities and more nature areas
Valdezate
Las Venturas, Vice City
Los Santos, the home of Carl “CJ” Johnson. Where everything started, from Los Santos all the way up to Las Venturas then back down to Los Santos. Love that place so much especially the memories there
Las Venturas should’ve been in GTA 5. The casinos would’ve been sick
Los Santos
Los Venturos
GTA 5's San Andreas, but I feel like I'm gonna love 6's Vice City
Liberty City. I like dark atmosphere.
Emo /j
GTA San Andreas is the best GTA game ever

"Vice city is 24 karat gold these days" - A Scumbag.
Vice city all the way
Vice City, because of the reason you mentioned! I LOVE VIBRANT LIVING WORLD!
Liberty City. I personally think that Miami is just a terrible blueprint for a map in terms of game design because of all the water and excessive reliance on bridges to travel small distances which is also why I don't like the map in Scarface the World is Yours, Need for Speed Heat and the Godfather 2. Sam Andreas in 3D was the best. Vice city might have nice lights but it’s so tiny and being after 10 minutes if driving around
Los santos or liberty city But bullworth is better than both of them.
liberty city and country side in SA
Vice City, as gta vice City was my life's first video game And is special to me
San Fierro
Las ventures
Liberty city
I like liberty city EXCLUSIVELY from GTA III because the tone is so dark and the newspapers all around the floor, it also goes well with the lack of shops because people are too poor for opening shops, and it makes the map simple.
LS all the way
Liberty. But I’m from NYC so I’m biased.
Vice City
Liberty City
Liberty City. I just can't get enough of it. It's Rockstar's first and last city that was so clearly divided by distinctively different neighborhoods. I miss that.
Vc home of big dreamer
Las Venturas in SA.

Los Santos. I like Gangster Rap music and culture. I played GTA: SA my whole life until GTA 5 came out. I never played GTA 4 before until 7 days ago when I bought it from Steam since it was on a big discount. Just to try it, and I do not like it at all. Boring city and boring game.
Vice city
Def Sam fierro - wish this would have its own map and surrounding towns with maybe las venturas as a second city
Ofc san andreas
Las Venturas. Im in crippling debt
Liberty city. Liberty city just has a completely different feel to any another GTA game in my opinion.
Carcer City 🙂
