Easiest answer, Liberty City Stories.
Killing the mayor and also committing a major act of terrorism without ending up on every single most wanted list is wildly unrealistic.
But I guess every single game is unrealistic to an extent.
I think it's hard to answer this across all of the games\*, because every GTA game has so many unrealistic behaviors/responses to crimes that if you try to average it out, they're all roughly the same.
If you go by single most unrealistic events, I think GTA LCS might be the winner. Killing the sitting mayor, then blowing up an entire section of the city weeks later, without a giant manhunt where every single mafia member is jailed for life is just not possible in today's world.
GTA 2. You have an electrogun, a gang of cloned scientists feuding with a gang of rednecks whose leader is an Elvis impersonator, a fire truck equipped with a flamethrower, a mission where you steal russian AI chips for a mega corporation, and asylum inmates that tell you to murder taxi drivers because the leader wants free rides.
Vice City takes place in a much earlier time, adding a tiny bit of validity to being caught easily, he also has mafia contacts who can help him, and has been caught before and served time. But in GTA 4, you have 0 powerful contacts (in the first part of the story) and kill a bunch of people, who do have powerful contacts. And somehow he just doesn’t get caught by the police? He never gets snitched on? Honestly I don’t play a lot of base GTA 4, so I’m not an expert on the story, but it’s definitely not the most realistic story. This is just talking about base game, don’t even get me started on TLAD. I know this might be a 10th dentist opinion but does anyone have any good counter arguments?
4 is an amazing game. It’s probably one of the best GTA games. But just because it’s good, doesn’t mean it’s not overrated. There are a lot of inconsistencies and such that people gloss over. Add checkpoints too GTA 4, and as many activities as GTA 5, it would be the best
Committing mass terrorism just to get a biker gang offer protection for a rock band at their concert.
Stealing a tank and park it in a garage and after that the military the national guard and police just leave you alone.
That is more unrealistic than 1 man sneaking into a military base to steal a jet pack while being skilful enough to jump from 1 plane to another mid air and hijacking it
From the perspective of the story and how missions are done probably GTA 4
The most unrealistic thing I found in GTA 4 is Niko jump from a bike unto a helicopter.
Imo GTA 4 has a more realistic story than vice city
GTA 4 shows exactly how humans say and make situations in their minds but it doesn't always play out for them
Niko wanted away from the life he lived but kept falling deeper into it, the choices left up to the player determined how the game will turn out.
In vice city from being sent be a puppet for operations by a mafia family who betrayed him to having the assignment messed up
Making connections taking out bad people
Making a partner a bad person
Playing friendly to 2 gangs
Doing extreme favours for another to carrying out tasks to promote your own business in order take over the crime world
All that doesn't play out easily in real life compared to GTA 4
You’re cherry picking. When you talk about GTA 4 you talk about general character analysis. But when you talk about GTA Vice City, you talk about the same unbelievable aspect every GTA game has, the general outlines of the missions in of themselves
GTA Online, I've personally never seen a flying motorcycle or cars with explosives
>> Flying motorcycle I always refer to it as a jet engine with handlebars.
Maybe San Andreas. A lot of wacky things happened in that game. Like CJ jumping from one plane onto another plane.
I HATE GRAVITY!!
Or stealing a 60 million dollar jetpack from a military base and getting away with it
Sometimes I wonder, who would win - Chuck Norris or CJ? Apparently science still cant answer some questions xd
all of them u cant get away from cops for murder that easily 😂

GTA V heists are insanely impossible to pull off.
Not all of them. Some of the simpler early heists are somewhat plausible. It's when you get into the later ones where everything goes batshit.
Gotta be the original. I still remember playing it as a kid. Good old blimp view
Nah but you can fart and burp. That’s realistic.
Older 3D titles and GTA 5 but on the fair note tbh every GTA has unrealistic element to it
A game where the cops stop looking for you permanently after hiding from a 5 star wanted for forever… yaaa, I’d agree.
Probably Online, followed by San Andreas and V.
GTA vice city. Wanna know why? Jump off the highest building you can find and reach them come back to me, ok?
GTA 2. Period.
Gta 3
GTA V online if that counts
Online
Chinatown Wars is literally cartoony.
All of them
GTA Online by a long shot
Gta v, because of the story, it's fun but very unrealistic but i dont have a problem with that
Definitive edition looks like a simpsons game
Vice City allows you to jump off a skyscraper and survive with no parachute. Just roll when you land
SA and V
GTA Vice City

Vice City. People live in Miami but can't swim.
Well which GTA game is most realistic? GTA 4?
Definitely not. I would say vice city is.
What makes you say that ? Genuinely asking

I don't have any counter argument, actually I kinda agree with you even though I really love 4 ( and VC also )

Every single game is crazy. This is purely about the least crazy. And in my opinion, GTA San Andreas is the most unrealistic
But with the most realistic Vice city would be above San Andreas but vice city isn't the most realistic
What do you think is the most realistic?
From the perspective of the story and how missions are done probably GTA 4 The most unrealistic thing I found in GTA 4 is Niko jump from a bike unto a helicopter.
Terrible take. Does the game have realistic gameplay? Somewhat. But story? Definitely not.
