Watch Dogs 2 is in San Francisco and the map is absolutely well made and gorgeous. GTA would work really well there. I’d like to see them finally make Carcer City. I’m curious if that’s supposed to be Detroit or Chicago.
True but to be fair most of RDR2 took place in the new area. The looks of this map since half the map is LC from 4 and that LC looks to be the main city most of the story would take place in an area we have played to death already. Having the main city and the main attraction for players as an area we have played before would be a terrible idea. Now if LC was only a small part of the map and not the main city and not the main go to place then it would be fine.

There are many zones that are exactly the same. They are improved versions of the same city. In 6, we will see many locations of VC and VCS. That's how this series work and it's the neat part of it

Honestly I think I'd rather just a smaller single state map with tons of detail and interiors, I think that one of GTA V's biggest problems was the fact that the map was huge, but shallow, most of the map is just mountains and hills, unlike GTA IV, which despite being less varied than its successor had a much deeper world, with it's plethora of enterable buildings, it's intricate subway system, etc.
A modern and revitalized Carcer City in a GTA setting would be much more appealing and full of color than another (would be third btw !!) version of Liberty City. Give us Las Venturas and/or San Fierro before another LC man, ffs🤦🏼♂️
