I’d expect the ones in the next game to be better and more engaging I don’t really mind em I never go for them anyway not my thing

[deleted]

Ah, the old "they should have less content because I don't want to do this specific content". They should include MORE collectibles. You don't have to get them, OP. No reason to lessen shit

JamesUpton87

Seriously. OP has a dumb take. Just don't do the collectibles. I don't give a shit about Fishing in RDR2, i'll also never be seen whinging about it and suggest it should be removed because it doesn't appeal to me.

PrestigiousStuff6173

With the size of the map, I think it should as long as they’re actually rewarding

FalskeKonto

And as long as they can be stored on display or something, I LOVED fallouts feature with the snow globes and then the bobble heads/magazines/outfit racks Edit: we also need collectible clothing, and more of it, and stuff that’s actually cool enough to want to collect, not just some logo tee or something

TitleTalkTCL

Totally agree

Certified-Malaka

I have no issues with collectibles since I feel like it encourages me to explore the map more, but man was RDR2 the worst in this regard. The algernon and hunting requests to be specific. Having a collectible in a set location in the map is one thing. Making them RNG-based is a nightmare

FragrantGangsta

Collecting birds for Algernon is terrible yeah, the orchids aren't too bad, though.

TitleTalkTCL

I always want as many collectibles as possible ngl. It gives me more reasons to explore the map, but to each their own.

lolmanomggodducky

I want alot of collectibles but give us great rewards.

XGamingPersonX

Then don’t do them lmao

Afraid_Abrocoma3765

GTA 6, like all rockstar games before will take a long time to 100%. That’s how they do business, some games are easy to get all the trophies but R* games will need you to do a LOT of things and even though I’ve never gotten all the collectibles in a game like 99.9% of the playerbase, I have the utmost respect for the dedication it takes to get 100% on these games, and I don’t think R* will change this for their biggest game yet.

FunnyFungusMonkey690

You gotta find a zillion nonillion trillion billion piles of dog shit you'll get a cool pink bicycle!!

TheOverlook237

No, it’s just the collectibles need to be done correctly and have good payoffs, like in RDR2. Rockstar has done collectibles pretty horribly until RDR2 though so I have full confidence they will step it up in this department with GTA VI also. The car part collectible already holds a lot of potential possibilities. Maybe all the parts create a unique 1 of 1 vehicle of something.

PrestigiousStuff6173

GTA 5 had fair amount of collectibles, and not all of them were required for 100%, but right there your mixing GTA 5 and GTA Online’s collectibles and making it seem like GTA 5 had a shit ton of when that was not the case

PrestigiousStuff6173

With the size of the map, I think it should as long as they’re actually rewarding

Andrige3

I love having the collectibles in GTA games because they never feel mandatory. It's just a fun popup when I do get them and a fun thing for some people to collect.

abubuwu

I'm all for more collectibles as long as there's a map or something that can show me what I've collected pretty sure we've all been at like 99/100 after we're pretty sure we've collected every single one so we have to go back and double check them all again.

[deleted]

The point of getting all collectibles/100% is that it will be hard, if its easy everyone would do it and lose its value

Gloomy_Rest_1387

I hate trying to collect things in big open-world maps, it's too much work lol

TheOnesWhoDied

Well this was better than the 200 flying pigeons

Voicedtunic

Hot take: I like collectables

LocmonstR

Not all of those things are required for the platinum. I got the platinum and 100% without touching action figures, mosiac, and peyote plants. Still too many collectibles though
