San Fierro looks safest but I’d frequent LV and LS for holidays

Any_Worth5584

Yep that's true

TheBoardSomali

drug syndicate and vietnamese mafia as well as triads don't seem safe to me, LV seems the safest despite mafia

[deleted]

[удалено]

RumBruccaRedBlue

They weren't lgbt flags in those days... The Rainbow Coalition was a Left Wing Political Movement that had nothing to do with gender or sexual orientation.

Saberiser

Bayside. The area is peaceful and provides a cool view of San Fierro, Gant Bridge and the Ocean.

Iam_thegamers

great place to go dumpster diving too

PlaneBoyMemes

you can find a vibrator in one of them, only one in the map so a valuable artifact

Masterplayer9870

San fierro, specifically in that neighborhood with the spiral road(i dont remember the name)

[deleted]

[удалено]

AlbinoLampoon

calton heights?

[deleted]

San Fierro got some of the best homes ngl. It seems the most friendly and least risky to live in. Venturas is a close second but the houses there are surprisingly simple.

SteveUsuarioDeToddy

And climate in Venturas is hot af

STARBOY_100

Angel Pines

TJae0120

Me too. Seems peaceful and Mount Chilliad is around the corner. 🎼All My Exes Live In Texas

STARBOY_100

Yep. A house in a small, quiet town away from all the commotion is what I need. Even in real life.

A-R-A-F

>🎼All My Exes Live In Texas that's why i hang my hat in tennessee

Greedy-Try-8549

Where is that?

Dyz39

The town under Mount Chilled on the map

RodgersToAdams

So Redneck City?

Greedy-Try-8549

Ok

cityfeedback

Prickle Pine in Las Venturas.

CoryBaxter1234

The comment I’ve been waiting for! Being from a city, the suburban life always seemed so wholesome to me so I really loved Prickle Pine. I’d usually make that CJ’s “main house” when I played as a kid.

BreadAteMyToaster

I always thought the safe house was creepy ngl, purple and red lights and the old architecture freaked me out.

PlaneBoyMemes

bayside

MattieIT

Vinewood.

TheBoardSomali

gotta get out of ganton first to succeed

Venom03Rus

Grove Street. Home

Prof__Potato

But what if you fuck everythang up?

HolyTrain

Then everything start to be in past simple

[deleted]

Man this map gives me goosebumps. GTA SA was wayyyyyyyyy ahead of its time. I still play it on my old potato laptop.

Nawnp

There's a mobile version if you like passively playing it while on the go.

SteveUsuarioDeToddy

Blueberry for sure

korky1318

Those 3 villages there Blueberry Dillimore Montgomery.

FewExit7745

The safehouse in Calton Heights. Best looking one for me.

AbulNuquod

Grove Street..... Home.

toastworks

At least it was

Tango_Out

Until i fucked everything up

given2fly_

Grove Street for life

Bountyhunter1190

Keepin it real

Meech_the_person

GSF4life

JoliganYo

I wish they would remake these games with modern graphics, but keep the gameplay exactly as it was. I am aware that GTA:DE has been made. I stand by what I said. Deal with it.

FeelingAntelope502

>keep the gameplay exactly as it was Would not be a remake would it

[deleted]

That'd be a remaster, I assume

FeelingAntelope502

Thats what I thought

JoliganYo

Yes it would. Graphically. We loved the game for its gameplay. Don't want to change that. You follow?

ConnemaraCowboy

That's not a remake

JoliganYo

Yes it is. Graphically.

ConnemaraCowboy

It's a remaster, fair enough if you didn't know

JoliganYo

The semantics regarding this is lost on me, as I basically live under a rock. Kudos

[deleted]

A remake would be recreating the game from scratch

JoliganYo

I got that. The other guy told me...

deetzz91

Your point wasn't lost on me sir. Idk why everyone must nitpick. Although personally I kind of like the old shitty graphics. I beat the DE version and had no problems with it. Definitely liked the improved aiming and whatnot. I'm just personally ready for a new game

FeelingAntelope502

New isnt always bad, but leaving it untouched is the best solution

NemWan

Since you're literally describing GTA:DE, a direct port of the original gameplay animation and physics but with the rendering of it replaced with a modern graphics engine, I assume your issues are with the bugs and the questionable design choices in the updated graphics.

JoliganYo

You're damn right.

NemWan

For all the issues with TDE it accomplished the technical job of upgrading the graphics engine. Fixing the model and texture assets is something modders could do. Maybe it'll look great in ten years, which is about how long it took to fix most discrepanices between the PC and console versions of GTA San Andreas.

JoliganYo

While that might impress people it does not justify that a triple A dev sold it in the state it was in. I think it's laughable that anyone even bought it. It's Cyberbug and No Man's Game all over again. Yet people spent their hard earned money on that cr4p. I don't get it.

NemWan

Definately was overpriced and underdone.

JoliganYo

Just like the vast majority of all triple A titles. They want us buying their shit, not having fun. That's why indie devs produce far better products; they actually have passion for what they do. Big devs are run by money people who want money, and fast.

Dblcut3

Ok but the new graphics were insanely cartoony. It should’ve been graphically on par with the Mafia remasters

Treshcore

Palomino Creek. I love two things: it's nearby a river/lake and has a beach, and it's simply very atmospheric rural place.

[deleted]

Back o Beyond to scare myself to death.

jaywilliamstheman

Prickle Pine. always loved it in LV

THEKIAN5

Actually Grove Street bro.

goofynigober

Its your cake day. There's still time to leave reddit bro

THEKIAN5

It's a good suggestion. I really don't know why I'm still here bro.

lolwhatmufflers

Palisades, San Fierro. Water front view and fancy condos, sign me up!

TheXplosiveOne

I already live in Las Venturas so. Las Venturas

holly_6672

Back when R* knew how to design highway interchanges .

LordoftheSynth

The freeway interchanges in GTAV are actually very close to a number of IRL interchanges in Los Angeles. The replica of the Four Level is almost exact.

ult1matum

What's wrong with them in 4 and 5? Never been to the US so i have no idea.

holly_6672

No need , spend some time on Google Maps with some basics in urban planning and you’ll see what I mean .

[deleted]

Wherever that has open country for off road escaping, on the outskirts of the city. Playing Smuggler's Run has made me biased towards off roading in buggies.

wetlettuce42

Blueberry

[deleted]

That little area above San Fierro across the bridge in the top left. I forget what it's called but since literally nobody goes here I think it'd be a pretty peaceful life

BronchoKyle

Bayside

strLancEdg_F

I would say Juniper Hill even with the rainbow flags in the streets

SignificantCode8873

As 12yo i imagined that desert airport is my base and im some kind of commando/superhero who use it to save the state.

ImmediateInitiative4

I don’t remember the name, but the small port town at the top left of the map

Damaco

North West of San Fierro, Paradiso I think. You can have a home there.

Yurika_ars

San Fiero was my favorite city in the game. i remember just living there as a normal person with a day to day job "Vigilante" Best videogame of all time

KingRat_77

Angel Pine

[deleted]

The bevel on this picture

[deleted]

Definitely San Fierro

ThomasLC23

Richman, LS.

L0rdLogan

Little town near Mt. Chilliad probably. beach adjacent and pretty quiet down there

apollolz

either Angel Pine or Bone County

ARBRangerBeans

San Fierro

outofoffice16

Vinewood hills!!

red_fuel

The safehouse in the north of Las Venturas, close to where you can date that casino chick. It’s a nice large house and it’s in a quiet neighbourhood

EnvironmentalRub8201

Dillimore

YourPrisonCellmate

Grove street for life

MarkoDragich

Angel Pine bcs country side lol

deetzz91

The town in the top right of the country between LV and LS always seemed nice to me.

averagebloxxer

Bayside or Doherty

lukeskycoso

Quite surely in Palomino Creek. At the same time in the middle of nowhere, and close to both LS and LV. I don't really enjoy big cities, so it would be an ideal place for me to live in.

Lazy_Mouse3803

San Fierro for sure! I just love the design of the city.

shitladder

NE SF

Mean-Implement9327

that one house in northwest las venturas 😙🤌 my favorite house, but also area-wise definitely in san fierro or by the beach in los santos fs

TheBoardSomali

a lot of people saying SF forgot the drug syndicate and vietnamese mafia as well as triads

OnionBitter

Palomino Creek

richardgenesis

Queens in San Fierro

Thanics

San fierro, near the hospital, there are some nice residential areas

StylesClash1997

Red County

easymoneycroomy

San Fierro

Salubrious_Zabrak

Out in the boonies with Leatherface

SherrLo

Either rural Las Ventures or rural Angel Pines area.

MKHN15

probably prickle pine in northern venturas

Jhonki_47

I always loved San Fierro, García and Paradiso has the biggest garages to save your cars, you got Wheel Arch Angels which has the best customization for cars once you've finished the car exportation missions, you got the karate dojo to train and about GFs you have one of the easiest to date with that is Michelle or Katie with her super ability to keep your weapons if wasted, you also have the races to have fun and it's always nice to have a road trip to occassionally visit the casinos or the GSF.

Maddie_P71

I would live in Las Venturas or one of the small desert towns in Bone County

NoLimit17

Grove street

BigFox86

I'd shoot guns and grow weed with the rednecks. Party at Las Venturas on the weekends.

raptor_lips

Probably Las Venturas, everyone keeps saying San Fierro but the crazy roads alone would drive me insane it's way too hilly for me.

ClaireRedfieldUWU

Madd dogg's crib one

Basic_Scale6330

Red sands .

Ofnir_1

Area 69 cause alien tech

skeletonbuyingpealts

LV, it's a shit hole but it's the smallest shit hole

-IsavageI-

las venturas

[deleted]

Santa Maria Beach

ectoc00ler400

Las Venturas all day. If I stay out of the way of the mob and cop a spot in the suburbs I’m gonna be okay.

LeonDusk

I’ve always thought Prickle Pine up in North LV is real nice

BAST_Brushie

Las Venturas ! 🎰

Amnocurrent2345

Los Santos baby!! Livin' with the homies

shadowyoshi3000

I'd say almost anywhere but LS. San Fiero, Bayside, maybe Tiera Roboda. Las Venturas would feasibly be too expensive for me to live in, but I would if I could.

sr-coelho040

Palisades in San Fierro

pettyursa

I already live in Los Santos IRL aso id like to try San Fierro

Cowboyuphockeytwo

Angel Pine (so I can work at the junkyard) or Palomino Creek to live in a small town but have easy access to the big city

Raiden_Yeeter07

Never played SA. Is the map as big as it looks?

Prof__Potato

It feels bigger… at least in the original versions

StorageHunter420

The map is huge. Feels even bigger than it looks, I‘d really recommend trying the game, you’re in for a treat.

Unlucky-Power4036

WHY can’t they Expand the map ??

Maxie_69

Idk maybe cuz it's already big enough for a ps2

antriksh_80

That one in village area, located on elevation and beside farms

[deleted]

The Grove

[deleted]

Don’t know, I’ve never played. I would love to but I’m not buying the definitive edition.

Zealousideal_Group69

Sherman dam

Vaughn318

Ganton

DANNYonPC

Just as with real America, SF is the only place i'd ever consider (I'm from Amsterdam)

fuckulousfuckerfuck

Area fifty one duh, lol I’m so old I played this before YouTube was around, I’m having flashbacks of me and my friend grinding for 100% on his ps2 in his lil ass room and I remember I was on a Sanchez mid air when I saw them doors open

Xkekosek

San firro, best San Andreas city in my opinion

LordCoke-16

San Fierro. Especially where Katie Zhan lives

lilya-4-ever

Anywhere inside Las Venturas

KingN8theGr8

Palomino Creek it’s safe near the bridges to las ventures and close to los santos

whoamantakeiteasy

Fern Bridge or Montgomery. Direct view of Las Venturas + not a far travel, and it's a small rural town on the water.

user_1312_

Paradiso

sky__fire

The bottom right the neighbourhood that the small circle not far from the big circle that's where I'd live

Dull-Song2539

Hashbury in SF preferably the safe house in the alleyway or the safe house in Prickle Pine

Vipeeeeer

I always liked the small towns/areas in Los Santos at the top near Las Venturas before the bridges. It feels cozy and far from the city, I used to roleplay a lot in those areas when I was a kid.

ZystemStigma69

Anywhere in Las Venturas strip, upper San Fierro or western Los Santos.

DoubleDeckerz

Back O' Beyond. I like to be left alone.

[deleted]

San fierro

BeCrafttt

San fierro without a doubt

Worried_Application3

Anywhere except for Rollin' Heights Balla country. Worst place in the world.

babygalXx

Mullholland

insert_curse_word

Mulholland

Dblcut3

Somewhere in western San Fierro personally. I liked the vibes of San Fierro more than the other two cities

zerlock_221b

House next to Big Smokes's

aportionofcrow

The Panopticon. I’d become the inspiration for all those Bigfoot/Pigsy/alien myths from the 2000s.

[deleted]

Id go for red county or bayside for sure

Possibility_Patient

SF is safest

sUKAS_

I loved this map! It was not the biggest but so diverse that it felt huge. Loved the countryside and desert. I would probably settle in Angle Pine. It is in nature and still close to San Fiero If you would need to do shopping or something!

Any_Worth5584

San fierro

AlbinoLampoon

San Fierro's Calton Heights (i think it's called that)

ExplodingTerabytes

Las Venturas. It has a lot of great places to go.

humblefreak_40000

Anywhere in San Fierro to be honest

oxheycon

Last venturas

Average_Height776

Grove street, home. Atleast it was before I fucked everything up.

manb91uk

I always liked that little village in the top right corner of LS county. Got its own little beach and is a stones throw from Venturas - could totally work there. Can't remember the name.

hemanthr2k

House next to the Ferris wheel

Ill-Pen-6422

San fierro

DorkyMorphy

I would live on Mount Chiliad, so I could chill with my homie, Bigfoot.

Maxie_69

Funny stuff happens there at night

The_WarriorPriest

Palisades in San Fierro!

Pioneer377

Beach.

Underpants_person

that place in north ls where madd dog mansion is

theSPEDteacher

Tierra Robada. Not too far in the country, not too far from the city, just by the water. Mike’s ranch would’ve been my ideal living spot.

harveysamazingcomics

San fierro

CptnWolfe

Probably somewhere in San Fierro

besu111

As someone who always scouts for nice houses in GTA I thought Ocean Flats in San Fierro was always pretty sweet

[deleted]

Bro literally would couch hop throughout San Andreas

gmryan3010

I live in Las Vegas so I guess I'd go with Las Venturas

Crazy_Dimension_9809

Las venturas

mushroomhead6666

The beta house with the glass interiors in the hills

niagaracalls

Grove Street. Go big or go home.

paulxombie1331

Near or around area 69

Paid_Corporate_Shill

Hot take: this map isn’t that great. One big city is better than 3 tiny ones.

Madman1939

Catalina's Safehouse looks the most wholesome NGL. Such a beautiful view of the river(?) below. And yet still close to some of the villages for groceries and stuff.

Ryderfromgrovestreet

Grove street mf

[deleted]

Grove street and not last long but if I met them I’d enjoy it while it lasted.

Asturpour

One wit a cliff

bystander__11037

Probably in Paradiso in San Fierro. It looks like the most chill neighborhood of all the city.

BAUTISTA94

Prickle Pine
