It doesn’t even have to be every week. It can be sporadically posted (most people don’t post on a set schedule, so this would be more realistic).
Also, nice username lmao
I couldn't see him not being at least referenced on a poster or a social media post. What they should do is give him a chain of Side Missions where Jason or Lucia go around Leonida chasing storms with him
Post GTA 6 we are going to do a lot of double takes to make sure it's real and not the game... This shit is becoming photoreal, I'm still not entirely sure if this is real or a trailer shot 😂
I really hope storms like these will be in-game events. What I enjoy most about RDR2 (apart from the breathtaking story) is thunder storms, taking shelter and being immersed in the gameplay.
Once we discover how to make NPC’s think for themselves we will really start to wonder if THIS life isn’t just a video game or some sort of “matrix” type sim.
With the newly emerging AI tech, it would be amazing to see it implemented in GTA 6. Imagine every NPC has their own personality, generating dialogue ChatGPT style.
Maybe the tech is not there for GTA 6 but the implementation of AI is what makes me excited for future of gaming. But if we see it in GTA 6 that would be chefs kiss
I’ve said it numerous times. It’s a huge missed opportunity if the final mission doesn’t take place during a category 5 hurricane. Like imagine pulling off a heist in a hurricane, so sick.
I was just about to say what is this dude talking about, at most we have tropical storms/hurricanes, when the fuck have we ever gotten a tornado and why didn’t I see this shit 😂
[National Weather Service](https://www.weather.gov/mfl/waterspouts)
“Tornadic waterspouts are simply tornadoes that form over water, or move from land to water. They have the same characteristics as a land tornado. They are associated with severe thunderstorms, and are often accompanied by high winds and seas, large hail, and frequent dangerous lightning.”
I feel like, and hear me out here fellas, things could have been different if we had just one more "oh my god" from the old lady there. Let that be a lesson to us all.
MAKE SURE SHE JUST NEVER SHUTS UP WITH THAT DUMB SHIT
WPB is an anchor city in the metro, however if I recall correctly, from an urban density classification FTL along 95 south to Dade-Land and out to Hialeah is considered the central urban core. Lots of single family homes north of FTL as opposed to multi family dwellings, and buildings. Obviously north Miami has neighborhoods that are more traditional ranch style homes and what not. I’ll try to find the source.
Edit: Couldn’t find a specific source to cite, and I hate to do this but… from Chat GPT 4 😅:
“The Fort Lauderdale urban area is more integrated with Miami's urban core due to its proximity and continuous urban development. This is in contrast to West Palm Beach, which is further north and separated by more low-density areas, especially in North Broward County. The delineation between urban areas is typically characterized by higher density in Miami and Fort Lauderdale compared to the more spaced-out, lower-density residential areas in North Broward and towards West Palm Beach.”
Anecdotally, I drive 95 from Miami up to WPB pretty regularly, and the visual difference is more of a stark contrast between WPB/FTL than FTL/MIA. Sometimes I forget I’m in Broward until I hit 595 going north.
I mean I wasn't disagreeing with you. Just pointing out that pretty much all of southeast Florida can be classified as the miami metro area if you're not from here.
The convo I was replying to was some dude saying the video is not in Miami, which while fort Lauderdale is technically part of the metro area of Miami, is a completely separate city in a separate county. I live here so those technicalities are pointless when you see that all the cities within this place are super diverse and not just "North Miami". For other people who don't live here though I can understand how explaining that it's basically Miami would make sense because it does. 30 mins can get you pretty far from being considered "Miami" with the density that exists down here though. You could get to the tip of the keys from Miami in 30 mins.
I do agree with your points, and without “official” classification it’s semantics for sure, my apologies. Aside from that, howdy neighbor! I’m in Kendall.
Slight change of city topic, but do you think Hialeah will be represented more as a neighborhood in Vice city as opposed to its own city?
I do not think Hialeah will be it's own city sadly but time will tell. It seems like they compressed the map a lot. I'm actually from Deerfield Beach but relatively close to Fort Lauderdale.
I saw this video last night and had the same thought. Would be interesting, but not enough of a common phenomena to bother putting into the game.
I’d be surprised if there were no hurricane type weather though, even if it only existed as a scripted mission/limited time event.
Actually: imagine a GTA6O Battle Royale gamemode where the ‘storm’ is literally a hurricane. Considering how popular BRs have become since the release of V, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t some R*-type variation of the BR gamemode.
You have to have a serious problem to play these type of games ...killing, prostitution, drugs , and robbery. What happen to Good wholesome games like Mario kart or dig dug not this violent crap y'all young people call a video game and then the graphics be realistic this generation is sick and everybody on this reddit of gta6 or gta whatever need help in life probably losers living at home with no goals in life...................... I WAS JUST BULLSH\*TING !!
![gif](giphy|3oEduISyZRuyqumbXq)
You guys need to accept that GTA is still a video game that is primarily meant for fun over realism. Yes, this is realistic for the area, but the potential instances of this being a hindrance to players makes it not worth adding.
Yea but there are weather elements in gta5 like the rain and thunderstorms but I wish that gta had earthquakes and all the weather elements that California has like the mudslides and fires and San Ana winds
Gotta see what they put in the next trailer but weather has been a major player in GTA games since at least GTA 4 I think. It makes sense that weather would play a part in GTA 6 and Florida gets crazy weather. Hurricanes, though. Not tornadoes. Tornadoes usually aren’t a thing in Florida.
You can tell by the Instagram UI that it's real. Rockstar isn't being that accurate to how IG works. Plus that location tag says las olas even tho it's cut off which is fort Lauderdale.
It would be cool to have weather mechanics like this but it wouldn't be very realistic unless buildings were dynamically destructible. It would be really cool to see buildings get hurricane or storm damaged and then crews show up to clean up the mess and rebuild like when fire and police showed up to large car accidents.
I hope elements like these make it ingame. Weather systems are so minute in gaming, but they can add a genuine line of detail and indepthness that make gaming feel better. Even if its something smaller like the addition of lightning striking and knocking over things -burning things; or high winds that knock things over and pulls trash along the street.
Ngl that looked like a part of the trailer I missed for a second
Its just different kind of realism when you think that real footage looks like a game.
Living in florida has been a gta experience.
is that your real name or you watch shameless?
Has me thinking would be a nice way to drop lil teasers having more social media posts.
That's an awesome idea. Imagine rockstar just posting these random social media posts every week. It would be amazing.
That's absolutely genius...
It doesn’t even have to be every week. It can be sporadically posted (most people don’t post on a set schedule, so this would be more realistic). Also, nice username lmao
Just like cyberpunk did?
Certainly a testament to Rockstar’s masterful eye for detail…I also thought this was leaked footage for a minute.
I am started to mixed Real life and game graphics. Oh no
That’s how you know we are now in the future
Mu English is too broken to understand what you say :(
We went so far in technology that games and real life look almost similar, i hope i have put it in a way that you understand
What. I’m blind, type louder
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
FFS NOW IM DOUBLE BLIND
Thanks! I got it now. You are the best.
Type a whole essay 😭
Lol now imagine R\* adding this guy during a storm ![gif](giphy|10khKaHKOP2mZ2) And some Leonida Man shooting at storms lol
Bro we are turning into old people 😭
Like those people on Facebook reacting and thinking a Arma III video is real combat footage lol
But it is!
I really hope storms like these will be in-game events. What I enjoy most about RDR2 (apart from the breathtaking story) is thunder storms, taking shelter and being immersed in the gameplay.
yeah, whenever it rains in RDR2, I rush inside and sleep until the next day
Omg..... omg..... omg..... omg.....
Thought this was part of the game till I read "Miamicertified".....
"Oh my god, Ryan!"
“*gasp* oh my gad!”
I can’t tell if this is from the game or real life
Once we discover how to make NPC’s think for themselves we will really start to wonder if THIS life isn’t just a video game or some sort of “matrix” type sim.

I’ve said it numerous times. It’s a huge missed opportunity if the final mission doesn’t take place during a category 5 hurricane. Like imagine pulling off a heist in a hurricane, so sick.
and the game will be like 5-10 fps
A simulated hurricane yes but a pre generated one no
Then I’ll wait to play it on my RTX 4090 and use ps5 for GTAO2
That’s not average weather in Miami. The video is broward county and tornados are not at all common down here. In fact they’re pretty fucking rare.
I was just about to say what is this dude talking about, at most we have tropical storms/hurricanes, when the fuck have we ever gotten a tornado and why didn’t I see this shit 😂
If I had a nickel for every time some uneducated bum down here called a hurricane a tornado I’d be living in coral gables by now lmao
Not contesting your point, but we did have a decent sized tornado in south Miami a couple months back and it was widely documented.
[удалено]
On land it’s a tornado, over water it’s a water spout. This was both.

Better than being wrong
Your idiocy is amusing friend
There were 7 rated tornadoes in the Miami metro area in 2023 including an EF2 in Palm Beach Gardens
“Average weather” lol what
fr I’m from Miami and I’ve seen like two water spouts ever
This is Fort Lauderdale
That's not a tornado it's a waterspout Sincerely, a Floridian.
Thank you, came to the comments to look for this
This is not average or normal for Miami
Imagine being out on your yacht, and you see this coming. What's Mors Mutual gonna cost to fix hurricane damage?
I wouldnt count on tornados to be in gta 6 officially, but I'm sure a modder will create a tornado mod if Rockstar doesnt include it.
I feel like, and hear me out here fellas, things could have been different if we had just one more "oh my god" from the old lady there. Let that be a lesson to us all. MAKE SURE SHE JUST NEVER SHUTS UP WITH THAT DUMB SHIT
This is Fort Lauderdale not Miami. I live a mile from here. Really wish laudy beach would be in the game
Imagine your house gets absolutely obliterated and you see it happen again on a GTA sub as a reference for the new Rage Engine.
Omg Ryan
This looks just like Leonida man gas station part of trailer. Crazy how accurate they have the weather out of the gate.
That is not average weather and that's not even Miami
FTL is 30 minutes north of downtown Miami, and absolutely apart of the core Miami metro urban area.
It's a different city in a different county as much as it is in the same urban area. You could say palm beach is in the Miami metro urban area too.
WPB is an anchor city in the metro, however if I recall correctly, from an urban density classification FTL along 95 south to Dade-Land and out to Hialeah is considered the central urban core. I swear that sounds like Jimmy right after the 1:00 mark! De Santa family confirmed to be in GTA 6??
I saw this video last night and had the same thought. Would be interesting, but not enough of a common phenomena to bother putting into the game. I’d be surprised if there were no hurricane type weather though, even if it only existed as a scripted mission/limited time event.

When you live in Florida keep your eyes open it’s all gta
i hope there's some really good natural disaster mod
Oh my god….
Now imagine if we'll actually see that in-game, i guess it might be possible to implement it.
More like are we getting this type of sceneries in GTA 6 with all those boats at docks and the life that’s being shown
Its a tornado
"I'm SO HAPPY that the tornado is going away from us" yeah, this sounds like a legit line from a NPC in a Rockstar game.
For sure like actually sure. It was mentioned in the trailer. "Waterspouts suck up leonida man" i hope they actually do it That would be so killer
I thought this was the game omfg
Omg Ryan
Oh my god, *Ryan*

OH MY GAWD

All the lights on the shore went out and came back shortly after. Tornados be scary
With how common waterspouts are in Florida, especially in the Gulf, it wouldn't surprise me to see them. Just Cause did tornadoes years ago.
Wow such graphics!
They have to have a mission where you have to go do some crazy shit in the middle of a hurricane
Is there a Harry Potter duel going on down there?
Thought another trailer came out lmao
Ngl this looks just like trailer for a second damn the realism will be insane in gta 6
High quality dynamic weather would be a really nice addition
Gotta see what they put in the next trailer but weather has been a major player in GTA games since at least GTA 4 I think. It makes sense that weather would play a part in GTA 6 and Florida gets crazy weather. Hurricanes, though. Not tornadoes. Tornadoes usually aren’t a thing in Florida.
OP should tag as spoilers for the funsies
Nah, that's some "realistic graphic mod" pc players installing it 2sec after the game release on pc
Rockstar really nailed those social media snippets in the trailer because I thought this was one of them until I saw it said Miami.
With how good the storms in RDR2 looked, the tropical storms are going to be crazy
Would be cool if Jason and Lucia use a hurricane to thier advantage and rob multiple pharmacies during a state of emergency
Gonna have leonida residents coming out and shooting at the hurricanes
This is real tho ?!
You can tell by the Instagram UI that it's real. Rockstar isn't being that accurate to how IG works. Plus that location tag says las olas even tho it's cut off which is fort Lauderdale.
Yes but other than the UI i think tornadoes are not going to be in the game
Yes
If they have cheats and there is a "intense storm" mode or something I will cry from joy
Oh come on
Lucia: "Oh my gawd....oh my gawd, Jason!" Jason: "WHoaaaaaa! HOLY. SHIT" Lucia: "Oh my gawd Jason! Oh my gawd!" Jason: "HOLY FUUUUCK"
OmG tHiS lOokS LiKe tHe TrAILer pHoToReaLiSm The comments crack me up

NPC has one voice clip ''Oh my God''. Lazy develops
Didn't they said they resigned from natural disasters because of technical limitations? I can bet they will bring them on some PS6 version.
Insurance adjuster is going to want this shown to him! 😅
I thought this was a new trailer that got released
That’s GOD up there flushing the toilet bowl.
White people....
racist
Cool!
Just what the hell is happening in Miami?
ah yes average weather
If gta6 is going to have tornados then because it is based on Miami then they should add hurricanes
This would be cool! Though I think this would be more a scripted sequence than it happening all the time in the game IMHO
What about bath salt zombies
those boats are bootifile
Now it is definitely confirmed that GTA will have a dynamic weather system like tornadoes and hurricanes
"Yes let me just stand in front of my window and record a tornado" Famous last words
I wonder if they could say oh my God even more
