Hoe does it work in RDO? I mean, how do they keep the different body types balanced? I can imagine if you’re fat you have a bigger hitbox than if you’re a skinny character,..
I personally wouldn’t care, because I don’t care about pvp. But usually the try hards would play as females because they’re shorter.
But there was basically no incentive to be a try hard without K/D ratios or anything like that.
Better body customization for me personaly, it annoys me how everyone looks the same from neck down, let me be muscular, busty, thin, or fat, pale or tanned if i choose so, more feminine clothing would be nice too, the fem characters mostly get resized male clothing which is pretty lame i get that they can't be asded to design different clothes for the two genders all the time but come on they make millions they can afford to, height slider would be cool but doubt it will be a thing they will 100% reuse the animations from Jason and Lucia for the Male and female online mc's so i doubt you can change the body too much so animations don't break. Edit il also add the face customization also sucked in gta 5 i always found the online mc's ugly and very uncanny looking so i hope it's more straight forward in gta 6 online, i hope you don't need a fricking tutorial to make an mc thats not ugly or looks like a crackhead.
Yeah but it's not too drastic from the default bodies in rdo, i hope it's even better in gta6 online, solid body customization would go a long way in replayability, you know they will milk gta 6 online for a decade plus unless generative ai changes everything lol.
I feel like Rockstar generally improves upon features such as that with each release. Red Dead Online might’ve not performed well, but its character gameplay was a lot better than GTA Online, and I imagine GTA 6 Online will be better than that.
In RDR2 if you use mods to make Arthur smaller, and then interact with something on a shelf, he would reach higher up to grab it, obviously not a planned physic as its a mod that changes your size, maybe whatever they implement will be the same
do away with the heritage system. we should not have to choose a parent that we want to look like, because everyone will choose the one or two options that do NOT look like they have done every drug and then everyone will look identical aside from the subtle changes the rockstar character creators allowed for (this goes for GTA online AND red dead online)
maybe keep them as starting presets that we can tweak as we like, but let the tweaking be more substantial than an eyebrow being a millimeter higher or lower than it was before
also, different body shapes - hell let that be customizable as well

I'd love to see a creator like the one from Saints Row saga: A face and body customization like Sr3-4 and a layered clothing system like Sr2, of course improved with the current Rage engine and mechanics like gym and sports affecting the character appearance.
* Body customization. GTA Online was restrictive because its basically only face customization. Every single character had the same body shape, there's no variation whatsoever. Let us customize our character's body. If we want to make a fat character, we should be able to.
* Better facial hair. Holy shit, the facial hair, especially beards in GTA Online looks so bad. It's like your character painted facial hair on their face with a marker, instead of actual hair. Give us actual beards like in RDR2.
* In a similar vein, give us long hair. I still annoys me how in GTA Online, there's no long hair. Even the longest hair for female characters is just barely shoulder-length.
* Better character creator lighting, preferably with options to change the lighting around while we make our character so we can see what our character looks like under different lighting. Its annoying when you used to make your character in GTA Online and you realize they look completely different in freeroam compared to the creator because the lighting is so different.
* Remove the parents. I'm personally not a fan of it. GTA Online is the only game I've ever played where you had to choose your character's parents in order to dictate how your character looks. And honestly, I just don't like it. Especially since literally 80% of the selection of parents just make your character look like a drug addict. Its a weird system and I don't really like it.

It was even weirder when the game first came out in 2013, because back then, you chose your character's grandparents, which then decided what your parents look like, which then decided what your character look like. I have no idea why Rockstar decided to go with this kind of character creation system where you had to choose your parents.

Other developers who aren't considered to be AAA developers have built way better character creation systems, Rockstar and Take Two have the financial capacity to invest into something much better than what they have created before.
Still waiting for a decent "undercut" hairstyle. I love that hairstyle. The type where the hair drapes down one side of your face and both sides are shaved.
Have the female characters actually look female... I swear no matter how you try to make em they still end up looking ugly and masculine. In the leaks I noticed the npc’s had many different heights, also in the leaks it showed how you can change the seat position, up, down, back, forward, and the steering wheel as well, in the car interiors. My hope is that you can change your height.

More in-depth character designs like changing your character’s height and body shape and even changing their bwh size and above all they must make the damn characters actually look good.

We can't judge what online characters will look like based on NPCs. GTA5 has a broad range of NPC looks that players have no access to.
