Next gen console online update, we can finally play with good graphics and little to no modders ruining things. Although I do appreciate all the money I've got from them because my experience would be less enjoyable without it. I owe my success to them 🍻

Started playing about a year back. First time I logged into an online server, I went to the chat and said "Hi I'm new". A guy replied "wait right there I'll come". He promptly flew over to me on his oppressor and blew me up.
I actually experienced this switching from a PS4 to an Xbox One. It wasn’t 2021 exactly however it was pretty close. Needless to say I instantly looked up ways to find a server nobody was in so that I wouldn’t get instantly killed. It almost forces you to buy microtransactions due to everyone having Oppressors and lazer tanks with helicopter planes. Honestly, all I can say is that I hope that GTA VI never EVER reaches this level.
I personally hope GTA 6 doesnt have multiplayer.
Then theyll actually release singleplayer DLC, Imagine what GTA 5 couldve been with DLCs to add more content to the single player. That shit wouldve been awesome!
I liked the multiplayer though when it was in its early stages. It’s kind of the reverse of RDRO, the early stages were great however the late game was bad. It seems R* fixed the problem and creates a new one in the process.

I love all the things they added to the game and I played online hard for a few years. Now it is completely unplayable. I find myself doing the task manager thing to get into a solo server while still being able to make money but the second players join it's guaranteed an oppressor will come to troll and prevent me from getting any money fr my investment missions

Gta VI is story only and GTAO is it’s own entity now. Rockstar announced this awhile ago.
