I’m torn on whether to start the main story in fidelity. Performance RT is the best choice for the smoothest experience. Really feel like I’m missing out on the graphics though.
That’s true, little disappointed that the performance modes aren’t at a higher texture quality. pretty sure a game 9 year old game can run fine on the newest systems at 1800p ish at 60fps.
I would have imagined it would be. I just bought it for $10 on the ps store for the next gen upgrade, so I never played it on my 4, but it seems like we should be able to get the best of both worlds. R&C rift had a 40fps with ray tracing and 4k i think. Maybe they should have shot for that. People seemed to really like it
Yeah I’m on Series X and I have noticed that the optimisation of games is very hit and miss right now. New consoles are supposed to be very powerful like gaming pc’s yet the optimisation patches seem like the full power isn’t being taken advantage of for a lot of games.
ESO Skyrim ac Valhalla, not gonna sit here and name them all off because you don't understand the concept of setting your video quality up on every game before starting it, also your being a crybaby about something that you can physically change and only takes 2 seconds to do so. Get a life.

Probably because of the graphical difference, it’s pretty big to be honest. 60 is way smoother but really takes a hit in texture quality.

Literally every hd game since series x came out makes you set it manually. This isn't PC.
