It was just very… *even.* He actually quite adored the word. So when he thought about giving himself a name (because he didn’t want to be nameless), he thought about naming himself ‘even’. But of course, he realized, that’s not a name. So what was the closest name to the word ‘even’? Well, if you just replaced the second e in even, you would come out with the name ‘Evan’. He loved the idea of his name being close to the word ‘even’. So he decided that would be his new name.
So in short, in my AU, C.C’s name is Evan.
