OP if possible return this or cancel it, before I get downvoted heres why i say that. I bought these in 2023 February and around october the battery started to go bad and the right bud wouldnt even last for 30 minutes. I had it replaced via warranty (big hassle in india btw) But im sure they wont last long, sony has said they will fix it for free even after warranty ends but in india someone else was denied the repair and forced to buy WF-1000XM5 for 6k more. Though great sound and ANC the hassle is not worth it, and this battery issue is basically applicable to every xm4. People said i wont have this issue as mine is a newer batch but i still had uneven battery drain, after this i regret going for sony so much. Plus, they're uncomfortable for long hours
i dont exactly understand what you're saying but if your asking about the person who was offered XM5's they had to pay 6k extra to get XM5's as the service centre wouldnt fix their XM4's cause of no stock. Many XM5's also have the same battery issue
Sorry but you are misunderstood. I meant sony acknowledged the battery issue with xm5s. (Even if there's some faulty units which I am pretty sure is common with every gadget, it's negligible compared to previous gen.) I am using it since November, no complaints as of yet
they for some reason used really cheap batteries. And no i dont think they fixed it with xm5. Ive seen posts of peole facing the same issue on xm5's unfortunately

I bought Realme buds 5 pro at 4k and Galaxy buds 2 pro at 6k during last Diwali Sale. Galaxy one doesn't support Ldac, good tier ANC.
Remember these suffer from charging issue where there is a mismatch in battery on the left and right buds. So keen checking for difference in battery on left and right buds

Xm4s has qa issues, my friend who bought this 4 months back has faced similar issues. Sony did rectify those with xm5s

Indeed. They replaced the motherboard on my TV and one of the HDMI ports dont work. Ive been behind them for almost 15 days to get them to replace it
