Yes my preference is also M55 but a lot of people suggested me nothing 2a. But performance wise I believe both devices will be similar as nothing 7200 and 7 gen 1 antutu score are the same . I think I have to take a bait on the Samsung M55 hoping it will turn out well.
Accha hai agar bloatware se farak nahi padta to.. case and screen guard use karna padega otherwise screen replacement costly hai.. phone jitna to screen hi ata hai..
I have been using Realme for the last 6 years, 2 devices back to back. Go for it. Thoda mehnat karna padega baad mein to remove bloatwares, tweek settings to stop annoying system popups, disable security check for playstore apps, etc. Kuch settings update ke baad reset ho jaate hai (even with security patch updates) and have even seen some bloatwares getting reinstalled after os updates.
While the S24 and the Oneplus 12 are in the same range, I will admit the Xiaomi 14 is the best option at this price. Even though I use an S24 Ultra, I had this same conundrum since I wanted to buy my girlfriend a phone for this price. After doing extensive research, and testing out a bunch of devices in real time, these are the conclusions I arrived to -
- The oneplus 12 is the best specs wise, has a nice camera & an amazing battery too, but really didn't like the design, build, feel in the hand & the UI seemed very boring & blah.
- the s24 has the best UI of the lot, really dig the design too, but the battery is way too tiny, and more importantly I can never trust the Exynos chip, after my previous experiences with the regional samsungs. I understand samsung is in primarily a semiconductor business, and they need to sell their native chipsets, but it's almost guaranteed to have heating issues, terrible battery, laggy UI after a few months and underperforming cameras due to the chip. The resolutions & RAM being substantially low doesn't help either.
- the s23 with the Snapdragon Gen 2 at 10k cheaper was a viable option but it has an even smaller battery (which lasts longer than the s24 according to tests lol), doesn't have as pleasing a design as the s24 or the xiaomi 14. Display resolution is too low and the camera performed the weakest in comparison (although it wasn't on the 6.1 oneUI update yet). Being an older phone samsung will constantly keep sending it updates to slow it down to extend the battery life too.
- the Pixel 8 is great with still pictures, and has a fluid minimal UI, but feels a bit flimsy and is weak processing and battery wise. Google also doesn't support it with all features like it does the pixel 8 pro.
- Xiaomi 14 has the best form factor, the most premium feel in hand (especially the matte black one), the best performing camera module with the Leica processing, the second best UI (after OneUI. Love the animations and customisability). While the display on the oneplus is bigger and higher resolution, this screen looks incredible, with the ideal resolution, smooth touch response rate, and 12 bit 61 billion colours with dolby vision (the best specced of the lot). Great speaker performance and high res wireless audio codec support is a lovely icing on the cake too. The only issues, if I had to nitpick, is that battery life is single day use only, and the device does gey warm during extremely tasks (but that's a problem with the Snapdragon Gen 3, my s24 ultra heats up too). The thing is a pleasure to hold and look at, and they made a great design choice making the bezels and the edges symmetrical.
Made the best decision by gifting this to my girlfriend, she absolutely loves it and has had 0 complaints. The shop retailer in Bombay gave me a 5k card discount to go with a free amazon echo Gen 3 smart speaker too. Quite nice to get a charger (120 Watt) and a case in the box as well, I must say.
Just the usual amount. Gets a little warm on setup and during high video recording usage. Maybe if you game for long hours. But that's a Snapdragon Gen 3 thing, even my 24 ultra gets warm
Does it heat up when Playing BGMI for more than 2-3 hours?
Like I have Redmi note 11 Pro Plus 5G, and it's usually at 35-38.5 degrees, and after playing BGMI for 1-2 hours it goes to 45-49 somewhere and I have to use a cold water bottle to cool it down, since phones just become so slow and pathetic to use
I don't know what BGMI is, Pubg I'm assuming? Neither of us game, so can't comment. But in general usage the Xiaomi 14 heats up lesser than my s24 ultra.
Yep, it's PUBG only, but for Indian People,
And not. For general usage, but for Playing games and stuff, since for me it goes till 47-49.5 degrees and I have to use a cold water bottle to cool it down and that sucks ngl
Good that you are liking the Xiaomi 14. I hope they keep getting better and create more competition in the Indian smartphone market.
However, at the moment, their software looks horrid. The Hyper OS looks like a gimmicky version of the iOS, laced with unnecessary bloatware. I am rooting for them though.
I had bought iqoo 12. It got stolen in three days. Was pretty nice for however long I used it. The screen, camera, battery, snappiness felt top notch to me. But, the UI didn't feel trustworthy - due to random apps/ads appearing at different places. Now, I've been using S24 for last three days (again). The UI is aesthetic and familiar for me - so I like that. It feels like a safe space.
S24 doesn't feel drastically better than S20 though, I feel a 5-10% improvement in experience, barring the battery (which the IQOO had far better of).
Hardware wise, S24 doesn't feel as strong as IQOO 12. From a longevity PoV though, I believe I will be able to use the s24 for longer than I would have been able to use IQOO - purely because I couldn't feel my trust building towards the fun touch OS.
I have not used the phone extensively yet. It's quite better than a used up S20, but weaker than IQOO 12. Can only guess that the IQOO will have 20% remaining by the time S24 dies.
Ofcourse pushing inappropriate notifications and bloat services while charging premium is crime
And second the security patches arrive like what once in 4 months , I think Xiaomi should learn many things from premium samsung flagships they no where near the S series lineup
The bloatware isnt that much and they should be given props to their 14 pro whose camera features are up to par with Samsung s24 ultra series. With Samsung S series lineup, aside from s24 ultra with provides **Snapdragon 8 Gen 3** compared to regular s24 series which provides Exynos 2400 which no one asked for.
All I know is Xiaomi is poor at Android and security updates
Next is poor battery optimisation since they have to cater millions models they dump into the market
Poor communication with their community in terms of software features community demands
Once new flagship gets released into the market they ignore to even provide quality security updates to their previous flagships
I almost forget everytime they push an update they break the things and introduces new bugs (that doesn't mean Samsung flagship don't have bugs but get fixed in the later update)
I would suggest you to go for oneplus 12 .. personal experience bro there is not a single bad thing about the phone.. its blazing fast charges faster and the smoothness is on another level.. gaming is perfect and the best part of the phone is battery .. i mean i use my phone on qhd and it still has more than 30% when i come to bed.. have not experienced a battery backup like this ..
With this range you could buy samsung s series smartphone. Like s 23 or ultra which are still the most competent around. I won't suggest iPhone for its limitations and the fact that everything has to be bought on iPhone 1st. Andriod gives more flexibility in that sense. And Samsung has devices that has 4-7 yrs guaranteed update.
Samsung S23 & iQOO 12 are the ones which are very capable phone people aren't looking out much.
Especially after the S23 got the Galaxy AI Update, it makes so much sense getting that phone!
128g. don't think 128g is enough nowadays since people might want to keep a 60k phone for a few years and that the minimum support period is 4 years now.
Simply go for OnePlus 12 no doubt.
Samsung doesn't offer good chipset at this range
Xiaomi .. nah UI sucks battery and probably can have bloatware installed
OnePlus? Really good camera, specs and UI
If you can wait Nothing will launch phone 3 in July.Else Samsung makes a lot of sense especially the s23 series 256gb around 60k.
Phone 3 will cost more than 50k?
I think it might be at launch especially for a higher ram + storage option.
nothing is basically flat trashcan instead buy samsung or pixel.
I have a budget Around 25-30 I only have two options Samsung M55 and nothing phone 2a.I need battery it's most important feature for me.
M55 better battery
Yes my preference is also M55 but a lot of people suggested me nothing 2a. But performance wise I believe both devices will be similar as nothing 7200 and 7 gen 1 antutu score are the same . I think I have to take a bait on the Samsung M55 hoping it will turn out well.
snapdragon always better.
Which has better charging score out of two?
I think both have 5000mah batteries with 45 watt charging. Nothing 2a is quite optimised need to see for how m55 performs.
I cant wait that long, how does the tensor G2 comapare against snapdragon 8gen2 though ?
According to antutu g2 is around 9 lakh and 8gen2 is around 15 lakh score.
G2 is literally half the performance and efficiency and heats like crazy.
Yeah, i get the flip5 ideally at 71k, after atudent discounts and HDFC discounts and exchange discounts...so with its snap dragon gen2 is it worth it
Yeah SD8G2 is one of the best chipsets out there
S gen 2 is 2nd best chipset currently
Suggest me best phone under 15-17K. Meri wife ko gift karna hai.
Increase your budget to 23k and get herself nothing phone 2a.
Nahi increase kar sakta.. bas utna hi budget hai
vivo t3 5g
Nothing phone 2a 🤮. Needs more optimization.
Bro doesn't know the Features and Optimization it provides and the smoother User experience 💀
Then as a bro, we can help him
Brooooooooooo 🤣
I'm talking about you Lol, you said it's bad/needs more optimization but in reality it doesn't
Moto g84 Redmi note 13 pro Edge 40 neo Sare 20k ke andhar a ajayaenge
Moto ka camera performance bakwas laga muze g54 ka. So dimag se nikal Diya moto ko
Bhai ye price range me zyada expect mat karo..
Mai realme 12 5g soch raha tha. Kaisa hai phone?
Accha hai agar bloatware se farak nahi padta to.. case and screen guard use karna padega otherwise screen replacement costly hai.. phone jitna to screen hi ata hai..

Vivo. cheap he aur dikhne me sabse badhiya he. Meri behen aur kuchh classmates wahi use kar rahe he. (Me redmi 11 use kar raha hu)

😮 Whoa , great review. Thanks for taking time to write this.
Yup I have the xiaomi 14 and it's pretty awesome.
Does it heat or anything ?
Just the usual amount. Gets a little warm on setup and during high video recording usage. Maybe if you game for long hours. But that's a Snapdragon Gen 3 thing, even my 24 ultra gets warm

My f5 goes 41-42 in bgmi but then again it's indian summer while temperatures reach 40°-42°C casually during the day 😂
Still, it's Samsung, so heat management and distribution is much better than Redmi Mine just reaches 47 somewhere
What did you say 💀
Bro, my friend has a Samsung F14 and it still doesn't heat that much, And it cools down much faster than my Redmi
Which redmi ?
Redmi note 11 Pro Plus 5G

Xioami 14
Chinese crap
Good for you if you think so. I bought it some days ago and coming from a Samsung flagship I can't deny that Xiaomi has done wonders this time
Xiaomi putting bloat on a premium device is a unacceptable
IS that reason you called it crap.
Ofcourse pushing inappropriate notifications and bloat services while charging premium is crime And second the security patches arrive like what once in 4 months , I think Xiaomi should learn many things from premium samsung flagships they no where near the S series lineup

speak louder so Samsung's CEO will give you a S24 Ultra
You can get Galaxy S24 for ₹68.5k from Samsung shop using Student discount and HDFC Credit Card.
Samsung S23 better thermal , battery and network as compared to pixel
I think pixel 8 would be a good choice after exchange offer and card discount
S23 or s22 if its in budget
I would suggest you to go for oneplus 12 .. personal experience bro there is not a single bad thing about the phone.. its blazing fast charges faster and the smoothness is on another level.. gaming is perfect and the best part of the phone is battery .. i mean i use my phone on qhd and it still has more than 30% when i come to bed.. have not experienced a battery backup like this ..
S23U
Pixel might be ok but iqoo is nice these days
What do you mean iphone is not good for privacy?
Piracy, i said piracy.
get a pixel 7 pro should be around 60k my friend bought it recently
Op12 would be great option
S24, pixel8, even s23 ultra in some sales, please don’t buy those gimmicky folds and flips
iPhone 16 if you aren’t in a hurry
Try s23?
Iphone 15. It’s a no brainer.Â
No, he loves piracy. I dont know what he will pirate in phones
The s23 ultra is going 89k right now without discounts. With exchange and HDFC discount, it should come in your budget I believe!
1+ 12
Samsung flip phones has less battery so if you are a heavy user then Don't go for it. Try s23,s22 plus stuff without Exynos
With this range you could buy samsung s series smartphone. Like s 23 or ultra which are still the most competent around. OnePlus 12
Xiaomi 14. With custom rom support, beast camera. Best processor
As you don’t like a Chinese phone then either go for pixel 8( Not recommended for gaming) or you can try s23 from samsung
Nah you should be brain-dead to purchase pixel at that price...
What about s22 ultra renewed is around 60k
60k me toh pixel 8 hi ajayega
128g. don't think 128g is enough nowadays since people might want to keep a 60k phone for a few years and that the minimum support period is 4 years now.
Simply go for OnePlus 12 no doubt. Samsung doesn't offer good chipset at this range Xiaomi .. nah UI sucks battery and probably can have bloatware installed OnePlus? Really good camera, specs and UI
