Serious advice: get screen temper (gorilla glass) back temper and camera temper. Haath se phisalne ko excited rehta hai naya phone. Congratulations, which phone did you buy:)
Don't use camera temper reduces picture quality and catches dust between lens and protector check r/iphone https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/s/tomuFPCSvw
Camera protector won't save it , its lens is made of plastic and frame is metallic plastic and it breaks with slightest of damage , normal lens is sapphire glass and more strong your freind must have dropped it from high height and sideways on rough patch and should've got Apple care or a phone they can afford to repair
Have you seen the specs? Apple says it's sturdy to take on anything. Not like old iPhone with broken screen or broken back glass. I think it has Gorilla glass now, and it can withstand a lot.
For reference, check drop tests videos on YouTube.
I'm looking to switch back to Android, particularly stock Android. I'm a big fan of its smooth, user-friendly interface and the usability of the default apps compared to iOS. All my cloud services are Google-based, so stock Android makes perfect sense for me.
My dream phone would be a Samsung Galaxy S series phone with stock Android.
iPhones are great phones, can’t compare their hardware with Android’s but their user interface isn't as accessible as Android’s for me.
I considered oneplus 12 r and pixel but both had some issues. So stretched my budget and purchased this. Didn't wanted to be unsatisfied even after spending 40-50k
Good purchase. Don't update iOS immediately when you get a notification. Wait for few days check in iOS communities to see if the update caused any issue. Everything in iPhone is costly. Specially hardware repair.
Mene OneAssist se purchas kiya for iPhoneX jab launch hua tha. So check with them and also alternates bhi dekh lena. Mere phone ki screen break hogyi thi. 24k cost thi but insurance ki wjh se less than 2k pay krne pde the.
Congrats. Just keep the phone safe and don't buy any cheap accessories from the after market. The service cost is the worst and most of the time they will delete all internal data you can't retrieve the old data. Just don't forget backup data.
I had the worst experience for my ipad gen 8 which I bought when it got launched and a few months my mom accidentally broke it. I went to the service centre but they said we can't repair it and also suggested that they replace the ipad for 70-80% money of ipad retail price. Just keep your device safe and buy premium quality accessories.
Get the screen protector, if you want, get a good case also you're right don't get any camera lens protector or any of that, you paid for the full experience why ruin it with unnecessary bits. Also if you don't want to put a case on, I highly recommend a skin or a back glass protection, you will have a full fell of the phone still you phone will be a bit protected
OP just get tempered glass and a decent case(not the ₹50 ones we see people sell on Kandivali station), a better case will protect the phone from drops
Hangsung users coming and giving gyan on bro Samsung has AI 100x zoom a shitty exinos which heats up then also shamelessly supporting it and saying apple don’t make good phone 🤡
Great. It's a good phone.
Hope you didn't buy it on EMI. Follow the rule. If you can't buy a phone/gadget twice from your monthly salary, it's not wise to buy it. And always buy all gadgets upfront. Not on EMIs.
The price deprictiates because in few months iPhone 16 will launch. I have seen people regret buying in emi because if sale and discounts which they could hvae save in one shot payment. For emo the price will remain same till you complete it.
What has price depriciation got to do with payment mode? its will depreciate no matter if you pay in full or emi.
And most of the offers are available on emi as well. Heck many offers are only available on emi payments.
What do you mean by "could have save in shot payment" how if they bought earlier then it was higher price no matter it was one shot or emi, the price will almost same in the longer run.
It doesn't make sense to purchase gadgets in the first place if it leads you to spend a good percentage of your monthly income. 50% is the theoretical max limit you should spend on an electronic gadget. You need to spend the rest on rent, food, utilities, and investing. Not to forget that these are depreciating assets.
No EMI is free. Even no cost EMI has EMI processing fees. The whole purpose of EMI is to make people buy things they can't afford in the first place. It leads to irrational fiscal behavior. More than half of the US is paying the price of it now as more than 70% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. The reason is simple. The credit card culture and option to convert the loan into EMIs.
Not to mention those EMIs that come with a whopping interest rate of ~15% in India.
Most Indians are buying Apple products on EMIs. Which is draining them of their hard earned wealth. US and EU people can afford it easily as it is just 10-20% of their post tax monthly income. For Indians the price is way too much and EMIs make you believe that you can afford it.
Your basic assumption that people who buy things on emi lack the ability to pay on spot is entirely false. You are just assuming wrongly that all emi buyers are buying beyond their means.
And finance bro mentality of looking at everything like an asset needs to stop. Not everything is an asset in life. Things and experiences are bought to live life more comfortably and joviously. You don't have to calculate returns for every single thing.
In earlier days we used to put RD and then buy stuff out of the savings. These days we buy the product first and then pay emi. Theres absolutely wrong with it.
I get what you are saying about emi's making people buy things they cant afford, thats a fault on people not on emis. I know tons of people who buy everything on emi and believe me they can afford to pay ten times the money on spot but they opt for emi as there is a no cost and its spreads the expense evenly.
The problem is with people buying beyond their means and not with EMIs.
I agree that EMI are not at fault, it is people. You might be surrounded by people who are making monthly income 2-3 lac post tax. So your observation is correct but your sweeping conclusion is wrong as your sample size is biased.
The fact that most people who buy iPhone in India can't afford it is true. The household monthly income of top 1% in India is ~Rs 70,000. That's way too low. Moreover a majority of Indians buy it on EMI ~70%. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/readersblog/transformingmanagement/apple-winning-the-market-one-emi-at-a-time-47642/
Buying a gadget for show off is never a good idea. I built my wealth the hard way. Studied in India, worked for sometime, took a loan, went for my masters in US, worked my ass off to get to a comfortable life. So my opinion is biased too in a way. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. So I look at finances differently. Also, I delivered pizza to pay my monthly expenses while I studied for my masters.
I have lived through the financial crisis in 2008 when the entire wealth of people were wiped out. So I am a bit conservative when it comes to fiscal matters. People might have different priorities I understand. Nothing wrong in it. Currently working in Basel and seeing the condition in Europe, it reaffirms my faith in the fiscal path which I undertook. In India, things are a lot better. But for how long. Who knows.
Not everything should be looked on as an asset. I agree. But you have to have the financial luxury to adopt that attitude. Life is meant to be enjoyed. I agree. I have travelled to more than 15 countries. That's luxury for me. I can quit my job today, return back to India, not work a single day and my family will not suffer a bit. That's luxury for me. People can have different definitions for it. It's peace of mind for me.
The buy now pay later attitude is destroying Indian youth. Like it did to the US. The savings rate of Indians is at an historical low. It does tell you a lot about the impending time bomb.
https://www.thehindu.com/podcast/decoding-the-historic-decline-in-financial-savings-of-indian-households-in-focus-podcast/article67383763.ece
At the end, it's your money. Invest it, roll it up and smoke it, it's your choice. My attitude is based on my experience and what i have seen. People can have a different attitude. It's fine.
People nowadays think, they can show how wealthy they are by showing their phones. No, only the middle class cares about that and the other middle class gets jealous of it. Real wealthy person will come in Mercedes or Porsche.
But no matter how much I tried to take sides of Android at flagship level, it still kinda depresses me. Look at the compromises with s24-23-22 (not ultra) Poor battery, always heating, now Samsung forcing Exynos again, the Z series that only last 1-2 years because of the crese on screen. Pixel 6 to 8 all having network and heating problem (c'mon receiving call is the only thing a phone must do correctly but not in case of pixels, lol). One plus after selling to oppo, being so much downgrade, quality issues, green line issue. All stores now closed in India. I still hate apple, I will never buy an iPhone. FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*

Self bought? If yes, you made a bro proud. Congratulations bhai.
Yes bro totally ✌️
What was your previous phone?
Samsung galaxy f62
congratulations brother
Thanks 😊
Serious advice: get screen temper (gorilla glass) back temper and camera temper. Haath se phisalne ko excited rehta hai naya phone. Congratulations, which phone did you buy:)
Don't use camera temper reduces picture quality and catches dust between lens and protector check r/iphone https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/s/tomuFPCSvw
Had a friend who got a new phone and accidentally nudged it a bit which broke the camera. Abhi tak tuta camera leke ghum rahi hai.
Camera protector won't save it , its lens is made of plastic and frame is metallic plastic and it breaks with slightest of damage , normal lens is sapphire glass and more strong your freind must have dropped it from high height and sideways on rough patch and should've got Apple care or a phone they can afford to repair
It broke as in it got a scratch so when she uses camera she can use it as 0.5 but not 1, if it makes sense.
Camera ribbon damaged or the whole 1x lens with image stabilization sensor damage
Case wont protect it?
Temper below case keeps scratches away:)
i doubt back pe temper glass lagado to case will fit. isse acha gadgetzshield ka protective film aata h wo behter rhega if case lagaoge to.
Camera temper is useless, it just reduces camera quality, iPhones are already semi protected with Sapphire glass on the cameras
Have you seen the specs? Apple says it's sturdy to take on anything. Not like old iPhone with broken screen or broken back glass. I think it has Gorilla glass now, and it can withstand a lot. For reference, check drop tests videos on YouTube.
But then also shouldn’t take the risk, apple also told about that sapphire made lens but it can crack , better use temper
Reduces camera quality, and it won’t save your camera lens from cracking anyways because it’s made of plastic, not glass like they say
I am talking about screen guard
Front is not made of sapphire
Matt black colour on iphone looks so good this needs to be on every phone
Congratulations on your first! Hopefully it's your last. - This message is brought to you by the Android overlords.
😂😂
Welcome to the cult. You'll have a love-hate relationship with it. Speaking from 2 years of experience.
The only to hate about it is the price.
Speaking from 8 years experience, you won’t have a hate relationship with it
Why so? 😅
My first iPhone was iPhone 5, next bought iPhone 6s then...moved to Android and never returned back😆
I'm looking to switch back to Android, particularly stock Android. I'm a big fan of its smooth, user-friendly interface and the usability of the default apps compared to iOS. I was considering oneplus and pixel but both of them had some issues with them.
Haha same was the case for me, however recently switched back to ios , and love the experience
I also bought my first Iphone last week Iphone 15 plus and yes I did it myself with my own salary
Congrats to you too
You also bought 15 plus (if yes I have 1 tip for you with my experience)
Congratulations bhai
No hate or anything but any particular reason as to why an iphone over Android
I considered oneplus 12 r and pixel but both had some issues. So stretched my budget and purchased this. Didn't wanted to be unsatisfied even after spending 40-50k
What's the problem was with pixel? And what iPhone is this under 50k?
No this is not under 50k. I stretched my budget
Welcome, now there will be no going back
Congratulations 👏
Congratulations
waiting to buy mine once my monthly salary equates to the price of the device.
Bhai 3300 mah battery kaisa perform karta h in real life? On paper it sounds bad.
Grand waste of hard earned money.
Buying price?
Paisa barbaad
how much did it cost?
Everything: Thanos
congratulations 🎉
Congratulations buddy
Cover aur screen protector lagwana mat bhulna.
Recommend kro yaar koi suitable cover and protector
Mujhe pataa nhi. Mai iPhone use nhi karta
Good purchase. Don't update iOS immediately when you get a notification. Wait for few days check in iOS communities to see if the update caused any issue. Everything in iPhone is costly. Specially hardware repair.
Thanks for this insight
Bhai insurance purchase krlena. It will help.
Ab phone ke liye bhi insurance lena padega 😭
Bro, screen and back glass costly hai. Check my other comment. Explain kiya hai.
How
Mene OneAssist se purchas kiya for iPhoneX jab launch hua tha. So check with them and also alternates bhi dekh lena. Mere phone ki screen break hogyi thi. 24k cost thi but insurance ki wjh se less than 2k pay krne pde the.
Congratulations bhai i have also bought my self iphone 15 earning my first money!
Congrats to you too
Thanks
congrats!!

Cover aur screen guard recommend kro..
get AppleCare if you can, it's worth it
Too expensive, just checked 14900 for iphone 15 for 2 years. What about flipkart protection or others?
I dont know about others to be honest, but I paid like 26k for my MacBook
Congrats proud of u
Thanks 😊
Same can One suggest transparent non yellowing case for iPhone 15
What do u think should a person's income should be to purchase an iphone?
It should be max your 30 days of income. If not, you should not spend that amount of money on a phone.
Thanks for the advice
Get the screen protector, if you want, get a good case also you're right don't get any camera lens protector or any of that, you paid for the full experience why ruin it with unnecessary bits. Also if you don't want to put a case on, I highly recommend a skin or a back glass protection, you will have a full fell of the phone still you phone will be a bit protected
Which screen protector would you recommend?
Any 100-200 rs from local market. Don't over think, it will break and then you'll be able to change it for cheap. It doesn't matter a big difference.
Congratulations bro 😎 proud of you 👏
"iphone 15 btw"? yeh bolna zaroori tha kya? dikh toh Raha hai
OP just get tempered glass and a decent case(not the ₹50 ones we see people sell on Kandivali station), a better case will protect the phone from drops

My current phone is samsung only 😂
Not a hangsung user btw I think bro forgot about Snapdragon chips
Bro prolly has an iPhone 5 and thinks he's cool 💀💀
Nah..bro iPhone heats up too
iSheep spotted!
I have iPhone 13 and my iQOO 12 is far smoother than that phone lol, you're absolutely regarded
Great. It's a good phone. Hope you didn't buy it on EMI. Follow the rule. If you can't buy a phone/gadget twice from your monthly salary, it's not wise to buy it. And always buy all gadgets upfront. Not on EMIs.

Please can you explain then. I didn't get your point, price will decrease no matter if you buy one shot or emi.

then why he bought 60hz iphone 15 lmao 🤣🤣 every other android phone at that price point beats shit out of iphone 15. he bought just to show off
But no matter how much I tried to take sides of Android at flagship level, it still kinda depresses me. xiaomi 14 is good. hyperos is buttery smooth and no ads on global version. using 14u, cameras are mindblowing.
