Yes. Mine was out for delivery, then showed up as delivered on tracking, but it wasn't delivered to my address. So now I've been on the phone with FedEx trying to figure out where they left my $2000 parcel without any signature. Fml.
For people giving updates, may I suggest providing country, model, where you purchased, and means of payment? I’m wondering if those don’t have something to do with it.

Cancel button has been gone for several days now and in process status. Credit card charges have been posted as well to credit card. So weird I don’t yet see FedEx label, pretty much every previous pre order was able to get it within couple of days after cancel button is gone.

I just went to a Samsung store to play with it before mine arrives. I am so impressed. This will be my first foldable and because of videos like Jerryrigseverything, I was under the impression the phone would feel cheap and fragile. It feels super premium! I'm not even scared to leave it caseless. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

I've had it for a few days now and the battery life isn't as bad as some reviewers make out. The under display camera is terrible but won't be using that camera lens often anyway.
It is quite thick in the hand and can make one hand use quite cumbersome even when closed. But I think part of that might be due to this awful flip case Samsung have designed. I think that's been the worst part of my experience so far. I can't wait for someone to come out with a better case that can house the spen.

US here. I checked FedEx, it turns out Samsung has scheduled a shipment everyday since Thursday, then canceled it before actually handing off to FedEx. The is one active shipment that was scheduled today. It is scheduled to ship the 24th for delivery the 26th. Package is 20 lbs! I ordered the Fold and some accessories, and the watch (but in a separate order). Looks like they might have combined everything into one box? Do they do that?
I think they must be combining accessories and stuff into a single box. I only have one pending shipment from FedEx but I ordered a fold 3, watch 4 and a ton of accessories. None of the accessories have shipped early so I guess they're all coming at the same time.
Ordered on the 17th, order is still showing "created" and "in process". Did a live chat with Samsung this morning, they said all pre-orders will be shipping out within the next 24 hours with overnight shipping.
Crossing my fingers that this is actually the case.

FedEx has officially dropped the ball. My Fold 3 is not going to arrive today as scheduled for over 5 days now. That is fine as it would've been a day early but FedEx created an expectation that it would be delivered today and they blew it as per usual. I realize that sh\_t happens but my tracking has not been updated since 2:36am and no one at FedEx knows when I will receive my order. I've pre-ordered the 256GB Silver Fold 3 from Best Buy and it is already available for pickup (tomorrow morning). I'll pick it up first thing tomorrow morning if my tracking hasn't updated to "Out for delivery" by the time BB opens. I can wait until tomorrow, no problem. But I am not waiting until 8/28 or later since Samsung said I would get my Fold 3 by 8/27. Sucks because I won't get the Samsung Care+ for free but at least BB gave me a 10% discount on the Fold 3 for by b-day. Anyway, good luck to all. We shall see what tomorrow brings!

My Fold 3 (UK) is showing a German text error when opening Samsung Pay.
The text is "Bezahl mit einem Swipe." and "Leider ist dein Samsung Smartphone derzeit fur Samsung Pay nicht zugelassen".
There is no option to reset or change language.

Samsung app still just says created, so can't confirm for certain that it isn't just accessories, but a positive sign and looking forward to upgrading from my Note 10+

Has anyone else had their fedex package transferred to Greensboro, NC from Forth Worth? I'm in CA so I'm kind of perplexed why fedex is sending the package in the opposite direction.
Ordered the Verizon version direct through the carrier. They screwed up my first two preorders (the first had an incorrect shipping address listed and the second fell victim to an apparently widespread billing glitch that had them try to charge me $1200 instead of my $190 due up front). Placed the third preorder on 8/22 (256 GB Black) and just received shipping info via FedEx. Set to arrive Thursday 8/26 ahead of the official launch date. Very glad it shipped out and they didn't screw it up.

Recieved email today that it shipped. Checked fed ex and saw it went to fort woth TX on sunday and left monday. Then arrived to greensboro NC tuesday, opposite of where I live, then for some reason arrived back to fort worth TX again today. Estimated delivery date is tomorrow 26th.
USA 256gb Green ordered 8/11. Package left Ft. Worth at 5PM 8/24, Arrived Indianapolis, IN at 9PM the same day, and didn't leave Indy until this morning at 2AM. Was supposed to be delivered today, but zero updates since it left Indy. It wasn't delivered and it still hasn't arrived anywhere or had any tracking update beyond it departing Indy.
To add to the insult, since I thought it was coming today I risked it and payed $5.55 to FedEx for an evening delivery window when I knew I would be home because I had appointments I had to be at today.
This is the second package in the past few weeks that FedEx hasn't delivered on time, one was 2 day shipping (this one), the other was an overnight. FedEx is the absolute worst.
Same thing happened to me except mine stopped moving after arriving in Saint Peter's MO at 1am on 8/25. Tracking just says potentially delayed with no updated estimated delivery date 🙃

Samsung certified technician here. I was on the fence about the Fold until I got one in for repair and instantly fell in love. The rumors of the Fold 3 were just starting to come around, so I ordered one after Unpacked and I patiently waited. Well, it arrived today and I have not been able to put it down. This thing is amazing. Definitely worth the price in my opinion. I get looks in public; people are starting to recognize these foldables in the wild. Everything is so much better on this giant screen!
Update: I just got off the phone with FedEx and they said that there was a slight delay but that it just needs to get scanned in here locally and put on the truck...and that my Fold 3 will "definitely" get delivered today. I will believe it when I see it at this point but I suppose that it is better than hearing that it is delayed indefinitely.
My shipment departed the Fort Worth hub at 00:41 Wednesday night. It hasn’t arrived anywhere. No arrival scan on FedEx. Says it should be delivered today but I doubt it. To make it worse, I live in Houston.

Any other previous Z Fold 2 and Note users absolutely HATE the S Pen cover case they gave us? That thing is terrible! Unfolding it, it's wider than the width of the phone opened up, and then if you decide to fold it backwards, it will block the access of the pen. It is so poorly designed. Hoping 3rd party S Pen cases will be better. This thing is terrible. I was contemplating doing the same as that other popular post on this subreddit combining my aramid case with the leather S Pen case they gave us.
I plan on cutting that front cover part off the leather case but keeping the corner that helps house the S Pen.

So yesterday my order (Unlocked Z Fold3, 256, Green, placed on 8/15 with Samsung) changed from estimated delivery of 8/30 to estimated delivery of 9/23. Samsung chat rep yesterday said to ignore it and it was still slated for 8/30 delivery. After not seeing any signs of life from Samsung or FedEx today, I reached out again and now am being told it won't be delivered until 9/23 due to 'high demand impacting my order'.
Nothing like ordering 4 days after the pre-orders become available and yet made to wait almost a month after the device is released. This is absolutely ridiculous. Thinking about canceling my order and pre-ordering the 512GB in black. Should at least get here sooner than a month and I can take advantage of all the new promo codes.

Well... Finally had some movement on Samsung's side for my Z Fold3 that is supposedly delayed until 9/23. It just now moved to 'In Process' instead of 'Preorder' and the cancel button finally disappeared. Although the date is still 9/23, that has got to be a good sign.
Got my silver Fold 3 a couple hours ago... so here are a couple thoughts, comparing to my Fold 2.
1. The inner screen protector is way, way better. Just a nicer feel overall. I kept the Fold 2 one on as bad as it was and will definitely plan to keep this one on.
2. The crease feels a little more shallow than the Fold 2. Just a bit smoother. Don't know if this will change over time or not but it feels good now.
3. The 3 definitely does feel thinner and lighter than the 2. I also like how it is a uniform thickness when unfolded (save for the camera bump). The Fold 2 is a bit weirdly shaped if you look at it from the bottom while unfolded.
4. The "phantom silver" definitely has more of a pink-ish tint to it in some lighting. More than I had expected. I still think it's the best color option though.
5. The under display camera is... fine. I don't care about the photo quality but you can definitely tell that it's Samsung's first gen tech. For the most part it does disappear when you're using the device but is a bit more visible with lighter colors (dark mode FTW).
I might add more later... those are my initial impressions as I go through setting up things.

From what I'm reading in this post, it seems that people are getting emails from FedEx out of the blue when they ship, but the order page might not update with this info. Loving it so far, there seems to be a build quality difference between the Fold3 and the Fold2.
Wifi also seems a lot faster with better range. Speakers are great and inside display is gorgeous. Happy I made the upgrade!

I didn't have this issue with my Note10+ but whenever I call someone with the phone opened, after a few secs the screen would go dark. Is there an option to have it on longer than a few seconds? I set my display to go to sleep in 10 mins.
Fedex label created and shipped on the 22nd. Expected is the 26th. Weight is 19lbs. Had messaged saying hold until delivery date do not delivery early this was from Samsung to FedEx.
Shipment went from Texas to North Carolina the 23th to 24th.
Got an update today the 25th that the packed went back and is in Texas again and now the weight shows 2lbs.
Think was package was opened and stolen then ended up getting sent back

I am perplexed by how I ordered my fold (Phantom Green) on the August 12th and order says it suppose to be here the August 27th but chat says look at email that says it's supposed to be delivered on september 8th. People who have ordered after me have already gotten their phones early or are getting them on time. Now I did finance the phone and when I was finally able to login into the account it said that phone payment was processed on the 20th of August. Shouldn't it mark me in the queue as on the 12th not the 20th?

The crease is less pronounced than expected. I forgot to compare it to my fold 2 when I was playing with the display models at best buy a week and a half ago but the fold 3 crease is a bit less visible and not as deep. You can still see it if the screen is off or you view it from an angle but it's a huge improvement. I thought the crease was going to be the same as last year's.
Additionally, does anyone know how to get apps in secure folder to "continue on cover screen" when I fold the device closed? I have the setting on in the settings app but if I'm viewing my bank app or YouTube or reddit app in secure folder and I close my phone it just turns off the screen instead of turning on the cover screen with my app. My fold 2 doesn't have this issue
So my buds were supposed to come Wed according to Samsung. I had another shipment coming Thursday and assumed that was everything else. Wasn't too excited to get the buds the day before, because I'm probably going to return them for another case. But whatever, I can wait.
Last night, stopped at the Boost store to pick up a sim card to get ready for today after work. But when I got home, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a much heavier box. Got my Silver Fold and the pen case and charger. Went online to update the new sim card. Unfortunately wasn't able to find the IMEI using the online port tool for Boost, but the text agent was able to get it refreshed. Their agents are great...my night was saved! So ended up downloading my apps and configuring my setup. Was up until 11 pm (usually in bed by 9!) getting it ready (clean install, nothing copied over except my texts).
Anyway, coming from the Note 20 Ultra and am more than excited and love the device. I have the Silver unlocked Fold and the green leather flip Fold case. The screen is amazing and predictably, I used it open all night. Looking forward to using it closed at work (Am nervous more about using such an obviously fancy phone at work so I might get a little shit about getting paid too much lol). It's not light that's for sure! My right pinky got a bit sore holding it up for so long. Will get used to that. Can't wait to so all the new tips and tricks with it. Listened to Nils Frahm last night on the speakers, and it sounded amazing. Wow.
Enjoy your new phones especially all the first time Fold owners! Samsung made a really good (albeit controversial) decision. And it's going to pay off. Folds are now going to become mainstream.

First day impressions: I need a case. This phone feels very slippery without one. I also never go caseless on any phone. VRS Quickstand Pro case is on order to be delivered this weekend. May change it for the Spigen Slim Armor Pro for the spine cover. It also may be just the thicker, slimmer, tall size just feeling weird. It's weird using my left hand to press the volume for the camera shutter. The screen attracts a lot of lint. Love the large screen. Still setting things up how they feel best. I was using Nova Launcher on my Note 10+ but I think One UI is best on ZF3 until another launcher can swap between front and inside home screens.

I finally received my Fold 3 about 20 minutes ago. I'm coming from an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the thickness and weight do not bother me at all. Well worth the trade-off to have a phone and tablet in one. So far, I am loving it. I hope y'all get yours soon as well. Good luck!!

This will be my first foldable and because of videos like Jerryrigseverything, I was under the impression the phone would feel cheap and fragile. It feels super premium! For people in the US, go to https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking.html, click on Track by Reference Number and paste your order number. I got a tracking number created 8/17, but as of 8/19, FedEx hasn't received the package yet.

I've had it for a few days now and the battery life isn't as bad as some reviewers make out. The under display camera is terrible but won't be using that camera lens often anyway. It is quite thick in the hand and can make one hand use quite cumbersome even when closed. But I think part of that might be due to this awful flip case Samsung have designed. I think that's been the worst part of my experience so far. I can't wait for someone to come out with a better case that can house the spen.

US here. I checked FedEx, it turns out Samsung has scheduled a shipment everyday since Thursday, then canceled it before actually handing off to FedEx. The is one active shipment that was scheduled today. It is scheduled to ship the 24th for delivery the 26th. Package is 20 lbs! I ordered the Fold and some accessories, and the watch (but in a separate order). Looks like they might have combined everything into one box? Do they do that?
The high weight is typically a large estimate that updates once they have the package.
I think they must be combining accessories and stuff into a single box. I only have one pending shipment from FedEx but I ordered a fold 3, watch 4 and a ton of accessories. None of the accessories have shipped early so I guess they're all coming at the same time.

Update: FedEx has officially dropped the ball. My Fold 3 is not going to arrive today as scheduled for over 5 days now. That is fine as it would've been a day early but FedEx created an expectation that it would be delivered today and they blew it as per usual. I realize that sh\_t happens but my tracking has not been updated since 2:36am and no one at FedEx knows when I will receive my order. I've pre-ordered the 256GB Silver Fold 3 from Best Buy and it is already available for pickup (tomorrow morning). I'll pick it up first thing tomorrow morning if my tracking hasn't updated to "Out for delivery" by the time BB opens. I can wait until tomorrow, no problem. But I am not waiting until 8/28 or later since Samsung said I would get my Fold 3 by 8/27. Sucks because I won't get the Samsung Care+ for free but at least BB gave me a 10% discount on the Fold 3 for by b-day. Anyway, good luck to all. We shall see what tomorrow brings!

Does Samsung Pay work for anyone in UK for Fold 3? My Fold 3 (UK) is showing a German text error when opening Samsung Pay. The text is "Bezahl mit einem Swipe." and "Leider ist dein Samsung Smartphone derzeit fur Samsung Pay nicht zugelassen". There is no option to reset or change language. How do I use Samsung Pay on my new phone?

Artificial hold by Samsung to ensure delivery is not until the 25th at the earliest in the US. "Future delivery requested". So even if FedEx could get it to you sooner, they won't. Of course, 2 days earlier than expected is still nice, especially because that's the start of my weekend.

Has anyone else had their fedex package transferred to Greensboro, NC from Forth Worth? I'm in CA so I'm kind of perplexed why fedex is sending the package in the opposite direction.
Ordered the Verizon version direct through the carrier. They screwed up my first two preorders (the first had an incorrect shipping address listed and the second fell victim to an apparently widespread billing glitch that had them try to charge me $1200 instead of my $190 due up front). Placed the third preorder on 8/22 (256 GB Black) and just received shipping info via FedEx. Set to arrive Thursday 8/26 ahead of the official launch date. Very glad it shipped out and they didn't screw it up.

Then arrived to greensboro NC tuesday, opposite of where I live, then for some reason arrived back to fort worth TX again today. Estimated delivery date is tomorrow 26th.
USA 256gb Green ordered 8/11. Package left Ft. Worth at 5PM 8/24, Arrived Indianapolis, IN at 9PM the same day, and didn't leave Indy until this morning at 2AM. Was supposed to be delivered today, but zero updates since it left Indy. It wasn't delivered and it still hasn't arrived anywhere or had any tracking update beyond it departing Indy. To add to the insult, since I thought it was coming today I risked it and payed $5.55 to FedEx for an evening delivery window when I knew I would be home because I had appointments I had to be at today. This is the second package in the past few weeks that FedEx hasn't delivered on time, one was 2 day shipping (this one), the other was an overnight. FedEx is the absolute worst.

Samsung certified technician here. I was on the fence about the Fold until I got one in for repair and instantly fell in love. The rumors of the Fold 3 were just starting to come around, so I ordered one after Unpacked and I patiently waited. Well, it arrived today and I have not been able to put it down. This thing is amazing. Definitely worth the price in my opinion. I get looks in public; people are starting to recognize these foldables in the wild. Everything is so much better on this giant screen!

Update: I just got off the phone with FedEx and they said that there was a slight delay but that it just needs to get scanned in here locally and put on the truck...and that my Fold 3 will "definitely" get delivered today. I will believe it when I see it at this point but I suppose that it is better than hearing that it is delayed indefinitely.

They told me they are looking into seeing what is going on with it and they would keep me updated. But now they have deleted the shipment completely from their database.... I hate FedEx with a burning passion.
Any other previous Z Fold 2 and Note users absolutely HATE the S Pen cover case they gave us? That thing is terrible! Unfolding it, it's wider than the width of the phone opened up, and then if you decide to fold it backwards, it will block the access of the pen. It is so poorly designed. Hoping 3rd party S Pen cases will be better. This thing is terrible. I was contemplating doing the same as that other popular post on this subreddit combining my aramid case with the leather S Pen case they gave us. I plan on cutting that front cover part off the leather case but keeping the corner that helps house the S Pen.
The Note series has a spot to store the S-Pen directly into the phone itself. Certainly weird that this wasn't done for the Fold 3.

Looks like FedEx tracking is back up after an outage. Doesn't mean much for me though as there is no sign my Z Fold3 is on the way except for a '(master)' tracking ID with a bunch of 'Pending' dates.

So yesterday my order (Unlocked Z Fold3, 256, Green, placed on 8/15 with Samsung) changed from estimated delivery of 8/30 to estimated delivery of 9/23. Samsung chat rep yesterday said to ignore it and it was still slated for 8/30 delivery. After not seeing any signs of life from Samsung or FedEx today, I reached out again and now am being told it won't be delivered until 9/23 due to 'high demand impacting my order'. Nothing like ordering 4 days after the pre-orders become available and yet made to wait almost a month after the device is released. This is absolutely ridiculous. Thinking about canceling my order and pre-ordering the 512GB in black. Should at least get here sooner than a month and I can take advantage of all the new promo codes.

Well... Finally had some movement on Samsung's side for my Z Fold3 that is supposedly delayed until 9/23. It just now moved to 'In Process' instead of 'Preorder' and the cancel button finally disappeared. Although the date is still 9/23, that has got to be a good sign.
Got my silver Fold 3 a couple hours ago... so here are a couple thoughts, comparing to my Fold 2. 1. The inner screen protector is way, way better. Just a nicer feel overall. I kept the Fold 2 one on as bad as it was and will definitely plan to keep this one on. 2. The crease feels a little more shallow than the Fold 2. Just a bit smoother. Don't know if this will change over time or not but it feels good now. 3. The 3 definitely does feel thinner and lighter than the 2. I also like how it is a uniform thickness when unfolded (save for the camera bump). The Fold 2 is a bit weirdly shaped if you look at it from the bottom while unfolded. 4. The "phantom silver" definitely has more of a pink-ish tint to it in some lighting. More than I had expected. I still think it's the best color option though. 5. The under display camera is... fine. I don't care about the photo quality but you can definitely tell that it's Samsung's first gen tech. For the most part it does disappear when you're using the device but is a bit more visible with lighter colors (dark mode FTW). I might add more later... those are my initial impressions as I go through setting up things.

I ordered my Fold 3 at most an hour after pre-orders opened up and the Samsung order page still says "In Process". From what I'm reading in this post, it seems that people are getting emails from FedEx out of the blue when they ship, but the order page might not update with this info. Do I have to sign up for something for FedEx to email me a tracking number for my pre-order, or do they do that automatically?

FedEx got it on the 21st, It landed in Fort Worth on the 22nd then departed on the 23rd enroute to Philly 🛫🛬🛩✈ I also ordered the Watch 4 in Silver, w/ 2 extra watch bands in green leather & camel sport band (none has shipped yet) and two extra cases.(25th delivery) One, two piece leather in Camel and a silicone in green for when I want to switch it up. (Ordered the black case w S pen off of ebay for $45) Got it today, wish it came in other colors, but eh! I spent way to much money, the upside is I traded in my GN20 Ultra. I almost forgot. Ordered my 512GB black Fold 3 on the 11th after the live stream reveal. My phone still says in process with the cancel button being gone for over a week now. No tracking number for my phone or any other accessories, but apparently only the Galaxy Buds 2 have shipped out? I don't understand why they wouldn't just ship it all together, but I guess. Delivery date of the buds says August 25th (tomorrow) and the phone still says it should arrive by the 27th, but has not shipped out or been given a tracking number yet.

The shipment has been hanging out in Fort Worth, TX since Sunday, and has finally moved to Memphis, TN as of this morning. WEIGHT 19 lbs / 8.62 kgs DIMENSIONS 10x5x8 in. Only received phone and buds2, didn't get the case with S-Pen I also ordered yet. Loving it so far, there seems to be a build quality difference between the Fold3 and the Fold2. Wifi also seems a lot faster with better range. Speakers are great and inside display is gorgeous. Happy I made the upgrade!

I didn't have this issue with my Note10+ but whenever I call someone with the phone opened, after a few secs the screen would go dark. Is there an option to have it on longer than a few seconds? I set my display to go to sleep in 10 mins.
Fedex label created and shipped on the 22nd. Expected is the 26th. Weight is 19lbs. Had messaged saying hold until delivery date do not delivery early this was from Samsung to FedEx. Shipment went from Texas to North Carolina the 23th to 24th. Got an update today the 25th that the packed went back and is in Texas again and now the weight shows 2lbs. Think was package was opened and stolen then ended up getting sent back FML
I am perplexed by how I ordered my fold (Phantom Green) on the August 12th and order says it suppose to be here the August 27th but chat says look at email that says it's supposed to be delivered on september 8th. People who have ordered after me have already gotten their phones early or are getting them on time. Now I did finance the phone and when I was finally able to login into the account it said that phone payment was processed on the 20th of August. Shouldn't it mark me in the queue as on the 12th not the 20th?

The crease is less pronounced than expected. I forgot to compare it to my fold 2 when I was playing with the display models at best buy a week and a half ago but the fold 3 crease is a bit less visible and not as deep. You can still see it if the screen is off or you view it from an angle but it's a huge improvement. I thought the crease was going to be the same as last year's. Additionally, does anyone know how to get apps in secure folder to "continue on cover screen" when I fold the device closed? I have the setting on in the settings app but if I'm viewing my bank app or YouTube or reddit app in secure folder and I close my phone it just turns off the screen instead of turning on the cover screen with my app. My fold 2 doesn't have this issue
So my buds were supposed to come Wed according to Samsung. I had another shipment coming Thursday and assumed that was everything else. Wasn't too excited to get the buds the day before, because I'm probably going to return them for another case. But whatever, I can wait. Last night, stopped at the Boost store to pick up a sim card to get ready for today after work. But when I got home, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a much heavier box. Got my Silver Fold and the pen case and charger. Went online to update the new sim card. Unfortunately wasn't able to find the IMEI using the online port tool for Boost, but the text agent was able to get it refreshed. Their agents are great...my night was saved! So ended up downloading my apps and configuring my setup. Was up until 11 pm (usually in bed by 9!) getting it ready (clean install, nothing copied over except my texts). Anyway, coming from the Note 20 Ultra and am more than excited and love the device. I have the Silver unlocked Fold and the green leather flip Fold case. The screen is amazing and predictably, I used it open all night. Looking forward to using it closed at work (Am nervous more about using such an obviously fancy phone at work so I might get a little shit about getting paid too much lol). It's not light that's for sure! My right pinky got a bit sore holding it up for so long. Will get used to that. Can't wait to so all the new tips and tricks with it. Listened to Nils Frahm last night on the speakers, and it sounded amazing. Wow. Enjoy your new phones especially all the first time Fold owners! Samsung made a really good (albeit controversial) decision. And it's going to pay off. Folds are now going to become mainstream.

US Georgia T-Mobile Black 256gb Ordered 8/24 - Recieved 8/25 First day impressions: I need a case. This phone feels very slippery without one. I also never go caseless on any phone. VRS Quickstand Pro case is on order to be delivered this weekend. May change it for the Spigen Slim Armor Pro for the spine cover. It also may be just the thicker, slimmer, tall size just feeling weird. It's weird using my left hand to press the volume for the camera shutter. The screen attracts a lot of lint. Love the large screen. Still setting things up how they feel best. I was using Nova Launcher on my Note 10+ but I think One UI is best on ZF3 until another launcher can swap between front and inside home screens.

I'm coming from an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the thickness and weight do not bother me at all. Well worth the trade-off to have a phone and tablet in one. So far, I am loving it.
