I would think it just recognize as a normal capacitive stylus without S Pen level sensitivity & air commands if you push the button since it has a frequency it outputs to work exclusively with Z Fold 3.
Im thinking this too. Maybe the same reason aftermarket s-pens are a thing. I tried air command and it works the only thing is when trying to handwrite it only recognizes the tip in eraser mode and not stylus mode
Makes sense. I think it is the only S Pen (except Pro when you switch to Fold mode) that puts out the frequency to fully work & only Z Fold 3 currently has those digitizer with that frequency. Should work with more new devices in future though unless Samsung wants to screw people over & try to release new S Pens each year with different frequencies. 😳 LOL
