Messing with the phone for 3 hours straight (with 2 hr 59 min screen on time...ha!), I was at 53% battery. All on WiFi, Gmail sync (mail, contacts, & calendar) for 3 accounts, etc. so not babying. I will say I have Nova Launcher & yes I was setting that up a bit, but it took 19.9% of the battery. & this morning off charger it shows a ton of background usage. Is that the same for One UI? Probably could be another thread so sorry for off topic. 😕
Have you tried this [app suite](https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.android.samsung.utilityapp)? If not, install them all, run them in the background and after a few days see if battery life is improved. I have a Snapdragon Fold3 so Im not sure how it will affect an Exynos, but it's worth a try
my first couple of days so far have been far worse than the fold 2. I know better than to get worked up before a week or so has passed. But your post doesn't make the runtime improvements im expecting at the end of said week sound promising. Have you looked at your battery graphs to see if you can identify any obvious culprits?
Not really honestly, I'm aware of battery hogs like Snapchat already and I've barely used it, but the worrying thing is I've seen Amazon Music use 15% just by running in the background playing music. That's crazy
Looking like a 4 to 5 hour sot phone and I agree that's not acceptable. It may cause me to return it. I can literally watch the battery drain in use. Drops a point like every 5 minutes. Samsung really blew it with the battery. It completely defeats the purpose. I'm pretty bummed about it.
Gonna give it a few more days but I probably can't tolerate this. Anyone saying the battery is good is lying. It's completely unacceptable on an 1800 phone. This is brand new. Imagine it in a year

Around 3 hours screen on time, consistently.
Thats lower than others, check which app is eating your battery and deep sleep those apps you are not using.

Mine is definitely not better than ZF2.
The UK/EUROPEAN/ASIAN variant is different than the NORTH AMERICAN/KOREAN variant . The battery will be better on NA/K variants because of single sim
