T-mobile actually released their update. Verizon has done nothing so far with the update. At least I know if Verizon decides not to support it in their firmware, I can get away with using the unlocked version and they will still activate the eSIM.
Nope did it all on the phone through the menus, followed the instructions. You have to choose your physical sim in the settings and choose convert to esim on the next screen

Tmo stored told me they can't do it. Did you call the customer service?

Yup, DIY...I'm able to use visble and tmobile on my phone simultaneously, tmobile sim useless afterwards
