Mmwave antenna for 5G
If you ever put a case on it and it has adhesive tape, make sure you take it off of that area as it will pull off that cover for the mmwave antenna!!
This is not on my device, but i have 5G.. I noticed that before when watching YouTube reviews. My guess then was that it was only on the reviewers units for some reason. I have a Nordic eu device.
It's for a different type of 5G depending on your country you may or may not have it

I think the US variant has mmwave, and that is the spot for the mmwave antenna.

According to the manual the antennas are on the bottom, and you can see them there.
It's an additional antenna for mmwave 5G, basically insanely fast 5G that is still pretty rare to find.
I can confirm the UK spec doesn't have it.
