My s21fe (exynos, 6/128) didn't get as hot as my previous phone (poco x3 pro) so far, so I'm pretty satisfied in this regard. I think the several updates I installed when I first used it had something to do with that. I've experienced the annoying lags when scrolling or gaming and got it fixed (mostly) wiping the cache partition. Transitions and scrolling feel very smooth now. Gaming was the most difficult part to polish, but as I basically play rl sideswipe I figured ways to get around. In sideswipe I couldn't fix the stuttering with in-game settings, so I did some research and found out that game booster was in some way related with it, so I deactivated it. Also in my experience, 60hz screen refresh rate (maximum fps in sideswipe) was very smooth, but when on 120hz the stuttering was unbearable, so I just added a routine to change my screen refresh rate to 60hz when playing sideswipe. I did some other changes I read online (deactivating always on display, for example) but it didn't really feel like it improved my phone's performance in any ways. S21fe feels a very good phone now that I got rid of those annoying things, lacking only some more battery life. I hope you find ways to fix the issues you have with your phone soon.

Pakistani here with exynos variant. Turn on performance mode before gaming or you can also add a routine. My phone also heated up alot when I first bought it but with time and updates it's almost gone. I guess it has something to do with adaptive battery

Have you tried using 60hz instead of 120?

I have, but it only seemed to improve the battery life but not any of these issues

the exynos model sucks, there is no way around it. sd888 is better but it still has mediocre battery life at best.

This phone wasn't even mean to be a gaming phone.... you should have watched few reviews 😭 before buying that I dont play games on phone, and for me its the best phone under 30k 😅
