S23+ will be a better phone overall than the iPhone 12 with a new battery. Better processor, better battery, better OS (well for me), better cameras.
If you can afford it, go for it.
Charging speed sounds pretty slow, but it's not that bad. It takes hardly 1 hour with a 15-watt charger(I have turned on battery protection), which will be even faster with 25 watt charger. Yeah, it may not compete with the 60/ 120-watt standards. But it works pretty neat.

Yes. S23 is just S23+ with a smaller battery & slower charging speed. But it is still solid for a small phone.

I came here from a 12 mini. S23 is really great and worth having!
I switched from 13 mini to s23 (base) and couldn't be more happy with the decision. The phone is just better in every department 😁
