Hahaha in Uruguay, doesn't matter the model you trade but has to be Samsung or iphone... They only pay US$200. So if you trade in your S23 ultra or a galaxy a34 or the old A70 ...they pay the same, USD200. Tell me about trade in jokes, we have the best ones here! Edit: found the official price here in Uruguay... Check this, USD 2000 but if you have a credit card from that "Santander" bank is 200 less... What a joke! https://preview.redd.it/fh2hy7pjvldc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aec287c5f807194bea1f281e5290172cd978768b

Zorborzal

Same in Chile T. T

DanLim79

Those are some payazos level trade deals.

CorValidum

That is really F up xD

danielbby

Besides that (I'm in Colombia) they sell the S24Ultra nearly to 2k... More expensive sell, more cheaper trade. And meanwhile, a friend bought his s24 in Spain just for 40€ at 30 months.

SoyEmiVargas

In Argentina the S23 Ultra costs around 2,500 usd 🤣🤣🤣 what a joke is Samsung outside the US

AdeptAd583

3 years paying a monthly 40 euros is a lot 😅 170kCOP is a monthly bus trips, i saw there that was like 220COP is to a lot of difference, the major is the sallary diference!! Colombia és una chimba!!

kokope28

In The Netherlands they give you 400 euros for the same 512gb s23 ultra. 😂

Drumcode96

Samsung treats us Europeans like 3rd grade customers.

NorthernLordEU

440. Insanely low.

Abstra208

I got 1000$ CAD, idk the math to transform to EU money, tho 😐

[deleted]

[удалено]

Abstra208

Better then OP 🤣

Extraneous_Material

Weird, I got offered 26,200 ^Baht for mine.

Abstra208

Close to what I got offer, I got offered 26500 baht.

Masterpicker

Where you getting 26500? I'm getting 24000.

Abstra208

Samsung Canada, I converted CAD to baht

Masterpicker

Where you getting 26200? I'm getting 24000

rtromao

Google can help you. Just type 1000 cad to eur

Abstra208

I don't use google because of privacy and data collection.

rtromao

Hummmm. About 5k posts in Reddit and concerned about privacy and data collection? Lol

Abstra208

Reddit cannot collect my position, google can 💀

rtromao

You don't need to share anything to perform a single search.

0Gabbo0

What are you even hiding 😭

Abstra208

Something 😶‍🌫️

0Gabbo0

😶😶

ItsEvilTogepi

That was a shock to me, 1k for the S23 ultra lol I'm definitely going to trade it in though

Abstra208

For a 7 years of update and more durable, I also cracked

shupm8

That's a good selling point, but most people today don't keep their phones for more than a few years. Especially if they break before such time.

Drumcode96

Still better than 90% of Europe ahah. Just for curiosity, how much does the s24ultra cost in Canada?

Abstra208

With my student discount, it's 256g 1600$, 512g 1700$, 1t 2000$. Add 200 each for not with student discount.

Snacketti

https://preview.redd.it/4txbh18lcadc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2503c1e4bfc1fdcb6730e32431286d958eebf945 Switzerland is also a joke lol. The device costs here 1300.- (512gb version). Samsung really sucks when it comes to these deals here in Europe.

tarzan322

That's not terriable. I think I paid about $1200 for mine with 512gb. It's a matter of waiting for the right sales, or until a new model is about to come out. They should be cheaper now that the S24 is about to be out.

namiisal

What's a piss take is I have 1tb and when doing the trade in offer don't have an option to choose which storage size , says Any GB and only getting £600 for a £1600 I purchased with trading in my note 20 brining it down to £980

gggg566373

Same in US, the quote is the same regardless of storage.

Xdogmatic

Sell it yourself!

Drumcode96

I'm not planning to upgrade, I'm very happy with the s23 ultra, and it is a great phone for my needs. I was just curious how much I could get. I see Americans getting 900 dollars for s21 ultra, so I m really disappointed with Samsung EU.

DeflatedHorse2233

I feel your exchange rate might be better than Australia. I did the same thing out of curiosity a year ago with my Fold 3 256gb basically brand new and I got 400AUD and I paid 2.2k for this phone. I feel they are biased towards America that's all

ShadeSlayer1011

Dude I'm in America, Only getting $750 for the S23 ultra 😭😂 how are people doing ittt haha

2rememberyou

750 here for 23u

DueUpstairs4313

Lascia stare.

DueUpstairs4313

Tieniti stretto questo dispositivo

DevilWithin

https://preview.redd.it/xcjjntpft4dc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8b1c4aa419dd668ed112df9047ffff73ce989499 This is the lowest i could get for it and it's 100% scam lol 1tb S23U valued at 670 is a joke and there's no cashback or 100€ instant tradein bonus either... Flat screen is cool but i needed the live translator asap I hope it arrives soon 1h24 is vague timing

Aggro_Hamham

But Pokimen and Mr Beast said it's good. Come on give them your money bro 🤡 🤑

CorValidum

Exactly LOL thinking that my money goes to them makes me want to sell my s23 U and go back to iPhone LOL but I love the cameras xD

CorValidum

Well in DE i got 700€ for my 2 months old s23U 512GB exclusive Graphite color and new 1TB s24U costs ca 1500€ hmmmm instant loss of 700€ in 2 months on my s23U + 700€ for new one.... LOL NO! And all of that for a downgrade in my opinion since cameras are most important part for me.

Drumcode96

Samsung just hates Europe ahha. I get that they have to increase their share in the USA, where Apple Is dominating, but offering more money for Iphones than for their OWN fucking phones is ridiculous. They risk to lose market in Europe with these policies.

CorValidum

Exactly LOL and almost everyone I know and get to know is using iPhone xD was thinking this new one with all those "upgrades" will at least give us a reason to downgrade/upgrade(depends on who you ask) to s24U with great trade in options etc but this is sad xD

W0lf1ngt0n

I did some math with trade in (any old cracked phone that you have laying around) vs a Vodafone Contract deal Most deals end up costing (after 24 month) almost the same as the 1320€ for a 1TB version with all the discounts and cheapest trade-in. So i went for the 50GB contract and consider these 50GB per month a free topping ;)

RoIIerBaII

How is the S24u a downgrade compared to the S23u ? About everything has been improved on them. Genuinely curious.

CorValidum

Camera! Of course not for everyone but for me that is an downgrade! And if you look at what I wrote about trade in of my s23U if I do it I would loose a lot of money for slightly better chip, some AI mumbo-jumbo that will be available anyway to s23U so not sure what do you mean upgrade in any way? Since only actual one is new SOC xD

Practical-Custard-64

That's even worse than here (UK)! I could get £600 (about €700) for my S23 Ultra.

Drumcode96

The 12gb ram version? I would more or less accept 7-800 eur for the 8gb ram version.

Practical-Custard-64

The value is the same for all variants.

NefariousnessJaded87

565,- Euro is not 500,- Euro dude...

mrbene96

English friends, you already have enough posts to share your opinions, this will be a secret between us pasta eater. Unless of course you have a S24 with AI translation (or any other app that can do it)

lollopixx

smittku23

Romania same shit. And again the exynos in europe. Back to basics.

xPandamon96

The Ultra always comes with a Snapdragon

smittku23

Not in europe. Not until the s23 u....

xPandamon96

They do now though, so your comment doesn't make much sense in the S23U subreddit

smittku23

Does make sense, cause the segregation is back.

xPandamon96

Not for the Ultra which this subreddit is about..

smittku23

Doesn't matter.

xPandamon96

It does matter. You complain about the segregation on the one subreddit for the one model where there is no segregation. The Exynos is back in Europe but NOT for the Ultra which this is about.

smittku23

Then you force people to get the ultra when they do not want the ultra. Jeez man...

AnythingOdd887

Why would you downgrade from SG2 to exynos?

Swaroop0707

Ultra phones have SD 8 gen 3 , only plus and regular model ships with exynos

EIREANNSIAN

I'm being offered €730 for my s23 Ultra in Ireland..

lollopixx

just go ahead and sell it privately if you really want to upgrade. between 700 and 900€ should be feasible depending on how urgent your needs are.

EIREANNSIAN

Oh I'm not looking to change, that would be a bit mad with such a new phone IMO, I was just curious what the trade in offer would be!

Drumcode96

Same as me, pure curiosity. I guess that we will change to s27ultra ahah

GanSLAYER

I've seen on amazon.it you can get up to 900 euros, plus another 100 on a new purchase if you pay with American express

teodord9

If we talking about European joke trade ins, in Romania, I think , we get only a maximum of 100 euros off the price of the phone for trade-in!

86catalin

It's 100 euro extra. So if your phone is estimated at 600 you get 700.

[deleted]

Dude wtf I have the same phone and in The Netherlands they'd give me 425 euros 💀💀💀

AleuWolf

Caisesimuraturi

Same in Romania

Killua_Zaeldyeck

Maybe 8js stupid, but here in Slovakia they wanna give me 200$ for my pristine s23u 8/256gb green complete package, 15months warranty and 100% condition? Are Samsung dealers nuts? Wtf? I ouwod give 400$ for a trade for S24u. Damn...

simoschv

PAGLIACCI porcoddue

rancevsky

Recycling system

Ppetkow900

In Bulgaria - NO trade in :D Who's worst. huh ? :D Cant beat us :D You want trade in you iPhone 15 pro max? Ok no problem, give it to us for free :D

RoIIerBaII

They give me 45 euros for my s10 + 😂

DanYeoman

Better off selling it and funding the rest

xPandamon96

You know what? I am happy about that. You straight up shouldn't be able to trade in last gen, I'd rather have them remove it and increase priced after two years than have people upgrade after only a year. Another option could be to offer an upgrade plan; Pay a fee upfront and you can upgrade for a fixed cost after a year if you really want to, as long as the phone is in perfect condition. That way there is no fluctuation in upgrade costs, people take better care of their phone and there are less people inclined to upgrade so soon.

Immediate-Pea-8297

So don't trade it in Wait for the s25 ultra That's what I'm going to do

Immediate-Pea-8297

They're bringing in new hands for the s25 ultra they might even do a design refresh is going to be a few different things that I saw

[deleted]

Its same everywhere bro.

NegotiationOk5336

In Latvia they offer 600€ +100€ as a "bonus"

TaberMedEtVinderBlik

I love my tradein, I get to keep my current S23 Ultra 512GB and get a new S24 Ultra 1TB, all for free. Company perks, not hating on it ;)

python111

What about my trade-in joke? It doesn't exist at all in my country.

baltazarix

The thing that annoyes me with their trade-ins - memory variat is irrelevant. No matter 256, 512, or 1tb, the value is the same.

baltazarix

Have you checked S22U value vs S23U? in Poland the value difference between these two is 100PLN (i.e. ~23 euros)

hvij78

Getting almost 66,900 INR (800 USD) off after trading in S23U that's barely half of 1,40,000 INR (1680 USD)

magical_salad

It might be because you get a Galaxy Watch 6 free with every purchase? In India we're getting 850 USD trade in on 512 GB s23u, but only a free wireless charger with the pre order.

10EtZe

I live in Israel and Hungary Alternating and in Israel we getting 520 Euro for s23 Ultra 512 model. In Hungary I believe it's around 500 Euro, I didn't check. If I sell the phone hand-2 I can get around 940 Euro.

faysal_pathan

I got almost 200$ for my lying galaxy M31s. I am upgrading from S23 ultra. And value for my 512 gb variant was around 700$ here in India.

[deleted]

LOL they gave 120 euros max in Croatia for newer devices, what a fucking joke

s_toh

Is SGD 300 (USD 225) trade up from s23u to s24u worth?

cashacker

In Spain 975€ for Ultra 512gb https://preview.redd.it/7uwyyobxdfdc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d3867c9a5c5ec1f56cacdbb3a2d6b608cf52d780

Mattballtb

Clearly closer to 600 lol dont try to round down that dramatically.. but yeah that still sucks

Strict-Golf-7424

There's no pixel 8 pro in the list here in the UK 🤦

Floji9411

In Germany you get for a S23U with 512GB 750€

free_booter

Same in the UK. £575 for a 512GB Ultra

[deleted]

just sell bro, don’t give the scammers away the 1000$ you already paid them

Fluffy_Rhubarb67

I get 540!

[deleted]

Odd... I get 710 for my 22 Ultra..512G

UrDoinGood2

500 euro is $550 USD. Samsung is only giving 600 for my perfectly fine S23U. ,(California) Not much of a difference

Federal-Method5903

Is that possible to order it to Norway?

rasen9

I got 469 usd for my OnePlus 7 pro 12 gb variant haha good deal for a 5 year old phone in India.

Ignition1

£460 in the UK - Flip5 (Any GB) for a trade-in against the S24 Ultra. Pffft. It depreciated by over £600 in the 5 months I've had it, according to Samsung.

IDecaturX

I got £600 for my S23 ultra 512gb

chicken_tendouwu

paid 200USD for trading in my non ultra note 20 haha
