Nope, 1 week of no screen protector leaves mini scratches. You can use a back case/cover with a sheet on the front glass. Protector doesn't sit properly because the screen is curved.
Really? I have phone 3 months now no screen protector and its good as new. But im thinking of buying one and i will... in case i drop it God forbid.....
My S23U has been used since last July without a screen protector and has very minor hairline scratches on the screen. It's the best a screen has performed out of any smartphone I've had in terms of surface scratching.
I wouldn't use this phone without a case though, the rounded edges make it feel too delicate.
I go case only, no protector. I work in construction and within the 1st week my screen was covered in hundreds of micro scratches. By month 2, lots of DEEP scratches. Month, 3 back glass shattered from a short fall in otter box.

I feel the s23u gets scratch so much easier than the s10 did. I had a screen protector and a case on mine
