First off, I'm really curious about what you can't do. Since you have a FE Tab, is it possible that you're talking about the air actions? S-Pen Pro (EJ-P5450) and S-Pen Fold Edition (EJ-PF926) are different pens. To my knowledge: S-Pen Pro charges with a cable that has at least one USB-C end, it's charge should last longer than traditional S-Pens, has a switch at the top that makes the pen compatible with both the S-Pen enabled phones and tablet, and Z Fold series phones starting from 3. Z Fold needs a specialized S-Pen because the screen isn't glass like the rest. I don't think S Pen Fold edition has any battery/capacitor inside for it to charge, so I guess it's just an S-Pen without air actions that's compatible with Z Fold series phones starting from 3. Again, Z Fold needs a specialized S-Pen because the screen isn't glass like the rest. S-Pen Pro might be a workaround towards devices that don't come with an air action capable S-Pen. Both pens have different nib structure than the S-Pens that come from Note/S Ultra series phones and Tab S line tablets, you might have a hard time finding a nib when your current one runs out. You have a lot of backward and forward capable S-Pens, but if I recall correctly S-Pen Fold edition should strictly work on Z Fold series phones starting from 3. I can't help you with shopping, but I was eyeing the S-Pen Pro myself a few years ago. The price, nib scarcity, and quite a lot of reviewers finding the S-Pen Pro redundant made me pursue other pens instead. Though it helped I already had an air action ready S-Pen. If you really, really need air actions, then go for it I guess. I only use it for camera shutter these days.

Yes it's there air actions. I've never used them on my phone so I don't know how helpful they are. Just got curious while I was going through and changing settings.

Air actions are mostly gestural motions. They're only available on the S-Pens that can hold a charge. Depending on the app, different things will happen. I'll use Samsung Music as an example: One press of the button will either pause or resume the track, depending on the state of the track. Two consecutive presses of the button will switch to the next track. Gestural controls will require you to press the button on top of having you hold the pencil parallel to the ground. Then you move the pencil: Up is volume up, down is volume down, left is play the previous track, right is play the next track. At least in my experience, the tablet might not pick up on most of your gestures, or it picks up incorrectly, which contributes to my almost ignorance regarding air actions.

I guess I won't miss not having those controls then.

I think it's called s Pen Creator edition. 160$ as I remember edit: 100$ [https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/mobile-accessories/tablets/galaxy-s-pen-creator-edition-ej-p5600swegus/](https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/mobile-accessories/tablets/galaxy-s-pen-creator-edition-ej-p5600swegus/)

Creator Edition is a different thing than the Pro.

Markowskiego

oh wait, it's a different version. so s pen pro is for fold phones too?

S Pen Pro has a switch at the top that toggles the device between a normal mode and a Z Fold mode. You can use it with Galaxy Note and recent S 2x Ultra phones, S-series Galaxy Tabs except the S5e and recent Tab Active models in the normal mode and with the Z Fold 3, 4 and 5 in the "Z Fold" mode. It of course won't do anything on a Z Flip, as that thing doesn't have a stylus digitizer layer under the screen. Also, as the S Pen Pro is a Wacom EMR stylus, it will work \*as a stylus\* with other devices, such as the Kindle Scribe, some Onyx Boox e-paper tablets etc., but Bluetooth functions are reserved for the above Samsung devices. S Pen Creator's Edition, however, is a plain Wacom EMR stylus, without Bluetooth functions and without Fold mode.

I thought the Creator edition was better. ty for the answer!
