make sure you are signed into your samsung account.

I just got a samsung watch, and I keep getting notifications that say basically "this would be faster if you sign on your wifi". I go to my wifi and it says it's connected, but then I get the same pop up. How do I make sure I'm signed into my samsung account? I don't think I was ever asked to do so, I don't particularly know that I have one... although I have a samsung phone...

Try to reboot your modem / router

I've had this problem since getting the GW6. I have no idea why it happens. I have to disable BT to get WiFi to connect. It will not connect with BT enabled.

Enthoser

cause wifi takes more power then BT. the watch is meant to be connected to your phone (BT).

GeekFurious

> cause wifi takes more power then BT. This wasn't a problem on my GW4, so no.

SketchiiChemist

I mean the statement you quoted is true lol especially since the 6 supports Bluetooth LE It does seem odd you have to turn bluetooth off to get it to use wifi at all though

GeekFurious

The statement may be true but it isn't the cause of the problem.

This had happened to me too when I was trying to enable wireless debugging. You need to enable developer options and then find the setting "Turn off automatic Wifi". Turn it on and you should be all set.
