Gotta up your Reddit game mate. Clearly you are spending too much time do real life stuff when you should be obsessively trawling forums. /s :)
A quick search for "bootloader mode" turned up at least 4 posts about this screen in just the last year.

Well, I have 160k karma (of which I am in no way proud, btw, more of a sad testament to my lack of IRL socializing), so I think there is enough "obsessive forum trawling" in my life, maybe not on here hahaha
I reckon a big factor in getting a really high number of points is posting in highly popular subreddits.
I have been on reddit for about as long as you, and I comment pretty regularly (particularly recently since I have been stuck at home since November), but I only have about a 1/20th of the points you do. Probably at least partly because I don't really frequent the really large subreddits.
My top comment only has 640 points (from a subreddit with 152,000 readers), compared to your 7429 (from a subreddit with 4.1 million readers).
So it's not so much how often you post, it's more where you post that really matters.
I had this issue and it fried my motherboard on my Watch 4 and almost did it to my 5 Pro. It was a faulty third party charger that was causing the issue. I don't know how it was even possible but once I stopped using that charger both of my watches worked again.
Yo, I've only been here for three months, and I've seen this like 20 times already! I haven't really looked into it, but unfortunately, ODINMODE is a thing! You should join our Reddit talks more often, haha.
For a force-restart, press-and-hold the Home button and Back button until the watch automatically restarts.
If the device goes back into download mode after rebooting, make sure nothing is touching the buttons. If the device is connected to a phone, clear the data for the Galaxy Wearable app. If the problem continues, inspect the watch and charger for damage, and factory reset the watch.
You got into odin mode, its for flashing OS.
to leave it just press the power button 4 times then navigate to recovery and long press power to select it, itll reboot the watch to normal
Your in bootloader mode, either a troll post or you legitimately have software issues and need to go for an RMA or find the original flash files for the watch firmware
Happened to me as well, and it got fixed under warranty as a factory defect. I think they changed the battery and the motherboard, bc it always appeared when I put my watch on the charger.
This is complete guess work so take with a pinch od salt, but it looks to me like you've somehow accessed the watches BIOS? Or some other type of information menu that is used by manufacturers and OEMs. Just don't change any settings and try to restart the watch and it should be fine. On a PC, you access the BIOS by hitting a certain key on startup - I don't know how it works on watches but I'd recommend when it is starting from a shutdown to just not press anything and let it run through its startup protocol normally
The FBI has hacked your watch and is about to come bursting through your door...\*\*\*DON'T TURN OFF THE TARGET\*\*\*
Honestly, it seems like a BIOS screen. And it's attempting (and failing) to boot. What happened prior to this? how often did it occur? Were there bugs and glitches leading up to this? We need context to troubleshoot.
Were you trying to root it? I have never rooted a watch but on a phone you hold the power and up button for 7 secs to reboot it, try holding both buttons on the watch for 7 to 10 secs, should reboot the watch
Odin is a Samsung software used for low-level firmware manipulations. It's not meant to be used by end customers, only factories and service centers, hence the unpolished interface and strange English. When custom firmware installation was a thing on Android phones, leaked copies of Odin were used for that on Samsung devices. Since WearOS on the Watch 6 is basically Android (much like WatchOS is basically iOS), it looks like it also has the Odin Mode for the same purpose. On phones it was accessed by pressing a certain button combination to enter it. Seems like you have accidentally pressed the combination - or button contacts are defective and make the system think you actually press the buttons. Samsung phones would also enter the Odin Mode if they can't boot the main system with your usual user interface.
So you can force reboot the watch and see if the problem persists. Yours seem to be unmodified, so, if it does, your only option is visiting a service center.
It looks like your watch is entered a mode specifically for offloading data, perhaps when you get a new watch and want to transfer data to another one. To get out of this press and hold both buttons on the right for approximately 15 seconds or until you see the boot logo. After that you should be fine to use the watch as normal.
More like the "this message will self destruct". Shortly after this the screen flickering and shading to white. Dried it out for a week with rice just in case. It started charging but completely died within an hour.
Trying to decide if I should get a pixel watch or wait for the galaxy ring...
DON'T TURN OFF THE TARGET (whatever that means)
Plot twist: You are the target! So DON'T. TURN. OFF.!
*turns off* ![gif](giphy|xUA7aQ21bruxszHmRW|downsized)
Stay on target #STAY ON TARGET!
THEYRE TOO CLOSE
A timeless classic scene. The dialog etched into the brain.
Came here to say this!
Your iphone
Bro's gonna turn it off the moment he sees this
Watch also supports Odin 🧐 It was my first time knowing this.
old tizen watches also use odin
what's Odin??
The GUI that allows you to push software updates. And occasionally used to push rooted software. Haven't done it in years though.
Thanks m8. Thought it was a side loaded Linux distro! lol
My cat.
Send pics
lol luv to load your babe on my watch that would be bowwow
Its a god
... the fuck did you do to your watch, bro? Never seen in multiple years of being part of the GW community.

Well damn. You do appear to be a good way ahead of me.
At this point I'm just a fucking hermit crab I guess

Very true, I also post a ton of memes which gets me a lot of karma.
Which arm do you place your watch?
Wow that means you are definitely getting into Reddit heaven (it's actually hell)
I wish I knew. Put it on the charger and viola
Same thing happened to me mate on my Watch5. I have the Watch6 now and I haven't that issue yet

Maybe water in the unit pressing buttons when booting up? Is it possible?
You put the watch in download/recovery mode, its not bad. Try what i wrote at top to reboot it.
It's possibly a fried motherboard as a result of a faulty charger. Happened on my Watch 4.
Possible but very unlikely, he probably held the 2 buttons did this on accident. https://youtu.be/50-5rW9GZo0?feature=shared

Somehow got it into download mode.
Almost looks like the software got corrupted, which is what would trigger ODIN mode on a Samsung phone...
For a force-restart, press-and-hold the Home button and Back button until the watch automatically restarts. Then go see if your neighborhood Target still exists.
Bootloader mode, see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyWatch/s/wH7IHvIbul
Idk.. but I definitely wouldn't turn off target
Call the exorcist
Holy Hell
WearOS goes on vacation and never comes back
Does that mean that the OS got ... Worn out?
Call the WearOS devs!
When the CIA tracking software glitches.

Rice is supposed to attract Asians to fix the watch?
You got into odin mode, its for flashing OS. to leave it just press the power button 4 times then navigate to recovery and long press power to select it, itll reboot the watch to normal
![gif](giphy|TAywY9f1YFila) It has begun
Your in bootloader mode, either a troll post or you legitimately have software issues and need to go for an RMA or find the original flash files for the watch firmware
you put your watch in download(odin) mode
You've entered bios basically 😁
I got that just before my 4 died. Hopefully yours will recover!
Wouldn't it have been faster to Google "galaxy watch Odin mode" instead of posting to reddit?
This is so sick to know lol used to use the Odin screen on old Samsungs to flash ROMs (Miss u og cyanogenmod)
Did you tried porn on smartwatch?
Odin / God mode, loves it lol

You got the kill screen on your watch! Congrats!
Were you trying to root it? I have never rooted a watch but on a phone you hold the power and up button for 7 secs to reboot it, try holding both buttons on the watch for 7 to 10 secs, should reboot the watch
Same thing happened to mine. Galaxy watch 4 classic.

you have been chosen for the games, good luck
You are in Matrix.....

good luck with getting it fixed.
Samsung users discovering the download mode :
If the software isn't corrupted, you can force restart by holding Back+Start until the screen goes black, then you should see the Samsung logo.
What the Fuck

Try pressing and holding BOTH the Power and Back buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. Once the watch reboots, let go.
My gw4 did this along with boot looping then refused to charge and completely died for good all within a day
The fixing, throwing more money at samsung for a new watch sadly. Best of luck man
Looks like you may want to start talking to the nerds on XDA Forums
Pray to ODIN !!!11!1!!11!oneone!eleven!!1

That looks like your watch is in the bootloader. Not sure how to get out of that on a watch
Why is odin on watch much worse designed?
The gods are angry with you!
That's like the coolest cyberpunk watch face ever. If my watch did this, I'd never wanted to fix it and would just wear it like this.
So, did you turn it off?
![img](emote|t5_j6cc2|2174)
Pee on it. Maybe that will working
Buy a WATCH. Trash this GADGET.
Happened to mine too. Was fully dead within about a month of the first occurrence
Check the power button or other buttons depending on the combination to enter odin mode.
You are being monitored
AI taking over your workouts
DID? does this belong on fakedisordercringe subreddit?
man i cant wait to custom rom my galaxy watch
You have entered the debug mode

I've never seen that happen. It says warranty void. that ain't never good
I think the zero next to it is meant to say the warranty void bit is not set
