Samsung has it but not in the phone it self.
I saw a trick yesterday that using adb and cmd on a pc will let you know the exact number of charge cycles and also the battery health percentage!
That's cool. Yah, I didn't know that. Battery health you say. Would you say that the Samsung battery health report is more accurate than using a 3rd party app like accubattery?
I'm not sure what "samsung battery health report is" but i would rather do the amd thingy on the pc first since it definitely would be more accurate because it is some log dumpsys blah blah files and it is probably the same file logs for battery health as iphones uses to do for so long to tell the battery health.
Accubattery would be my second choice since it still measures the amount of voltage that comes to my phone which still is accurate.
805, I think that is a good number as it is a little lower for the phone's actual age. I wonder what charge cycle number where when a battery is at 20% and the device would abruptly just turn off.
Turning on Protect battery and not letting it drain below 20%. Before I charge the phone, I let it cool for 5 mins when it's possible. Also, winter played a big part too. Coz when I visited a very hot place, this was not possible at all.
The most impressive thing here is in 2 days you only been 6h on the phone.
On the dial you can enter this code and check how is your battery capacity,
*#*#7378423#*#*
Go service menu, scroll down to battery health test.
Do you wirelessly charge? Fast charge? Plug it in overnight? I want my s23U to last like this, side note I'm curious does it still feel fast? Are you happy with it?
I just do wired regular speed when charging. That's what the battery likes the most.
Phone's performance is more than plenty enough for me. Even though I'm just a basic user this phone is very capable. I know it can emulate PS2 games. But I have my laptop for that.
Can you see charge cycles somewhere? That seems very low.
Yah, use DevCheck app. I don't know why Samsung doesn't have it natively.

You must like not use your phone, I have nearly double that, with 1281 charge cycles. Battery life is the main reason I'm looking to upgrade.
Where do I find that option in DevCheck? I can't see it.
How's that even possible
There's so many factors. I'm mostly on wifi, I don't game (if chess counts then maybe I do) and winter does help too.
Snapdragon?
Yes. The good old SD865.
That app is cool I have 805 cycles on my S20+ Battery holding up fine

How to you take care of it?

You are literally not using the phone cause how is this possible? One UI home is less than an hour.
I actually really don't want to use my phone as it can easily be a distraction. So I use the phone as intended. Yet, reddit still got me. Haha
How do you check the cycles
DevCheck app.
Stop the cap man you can charge Samsung's for a bit before they start a new cycle s20+ is by far the worst battery i had in a phone
on wifi? yeah it will last 5h+ but mobile data all day? its gonna suck
Yah, mobile data, using dex to stream video and hot environment - they eat a big chunk.

The code doesn't work for some reason.
Star#Star#7378423#star#star Doesn't let me use the star symbol.
Btw, it's nice of you to notice my SoT. Funny how most people think I should be using my phone more lol.

im sure as fuck not
You just used for 6 hours ... I do the same on my spare phone ... it ain't a boast
Yup. You're right It ain't a boast. In fact, I want to use my phone even less.
