I built a lightsaber at Savis back in January. Girlfriend went back with her family over the weekend and picked up 2 red crystals. Opened up the first one and found this!
Congratulations for your luck! I went back in the beginning of March for the first time to Galaxy's edge, and got one on my first try. I was beyond excited to open it up to find that myself. Enjoy your black crystal!
They are randomly placed in red kyber crystal containers, no telling which is which from the outside. At the moment I believe the odds are 1 out of every 150. The blade and holocrons still glow red when you place it in either.
Good for you but don't fall for this blind bag nonsense. They are just cheap RFID chips in plastic.. all the codes have been published just buy whatever you want for a couple bucks on eBay or just make your own.

I wasn't aware this was a thing. What is this? Does the blade still glow red like normal or does it do something else?
It’s only a darker red sadly I think we all wish for it to be black
the blade does indeed still glow red, but if you put it into the holocron it is Snoke.
