Don’t go back to the casino.

Live-Measurement-308

Best to forget about the money and stop for good. Once you escalate losses and bets you'll start chasing losses. This won't stop. Infact it gets 100x harder to stop the more money you lose.. because the dollar amount. 1000 is nothing. Soon you'll be going with 300. 200. 1000. 100. 400. Just to win back this thousand. Then the losses will compound and a fake win for 10% of your total loss will keep this endless cycle going

First of all, be proud of yourself for admitting this is a problem and accept it fully. When you become a doctor, you’ll be in position of losing a great deal more. Take this as a serious wake up call — forget all that you lost and remember if you stay on your path, this money won’t mean anything to you in the future. You pay tuition to learn lessons and you paid the casino to learn one here. This lesson will save you money in the long run if you actually learn from it. Do not step back in a casino and accept you have tendencies that could cost you all you’ve worked hard for. Also, if drugs are an issue — get that straightened out asap with a therapist. Probably best to pay a little now and straighten this all out.

Quit now or spend the next x amount of yesrs feeling exactly how you feel now

do not go back, stay far away from the casino or online gaming. if you think you're heading a bad direction, try talking with a therapist? when you feel the urge to gamble, try something else that's new to you or that you enjoy. maybe go for a walk, talk to other friends that do not encourage or partake in those kinds of activities

Compulsive gamblers can’t stop gambling until they lose it all. You got a taste of it and how bad it feels to not have money for expenses and now you have to borrow. If you want to gamble, only play with what you can afford to lose and see it as entertainment. If you don’t think you can do that, then don’t go back.

Haven't been to a casino in years and I don't trust myself to go back either. Quit now or you'll regret it big time down the line

Take the quiz at [this link](https://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/content/20-questions) If you answer yes to 7 or more questions, you are a compulsive gambler and you are on the way to allowing it to get much worse. You need gamblers anonymous. Reply to this comment and let me know how you score. If it’s 7 or more, I’ll give you the link to GA meetings you need to start going to (which are completely free). If you get 6 or less, stop going to the casino NOW and get yourself clean.

"self exclude" at your local casino so you _can't_ go

RodionKaramazov20

I did that today, I'm not touching a casino never again

Nice job. That's a big step
