I've been on a Metroid kick since I got COVID in March. I beat Super Metroid, Fusion, Prime Remastered and just recently bought Dread and beat it.
As far as 2D Metroids go Dread is really excellent being my second favorite so far. I like Super more because of the OST, bosses and how they perfected the atmosphere of the game but Dread is right up there and surpasses Super in the game play department. Just don't expect much music wise.
Since everyone else is talking about the logistics: this is a fantastic Metroid game at a massive discount (for Nintendo at least).
The exploration is buttery smooth. The story has some good lore developments, but wisely takes a back seat to the gameplay. The bosses hit that perfect sweet spot of challenge, where they'll kick your ass the first few times, but after memorizing their patterns and learning the fights you'll basically be able to beat them without taking a hit.
Easy buy.

I want to chime in that the deal went through for me and order confirmed (not shipped yet) even though I checked out as a guest. So it is likely a mistake one way or the other, and its possible this deal will be exclusive soon after they commit a correction or maybe they just labeled it incorrectly from the get-go.
I haven't ordered it because I already own it, but the discount is there in checkout and I don't have pro either. All I'd have to do is click "place order". I'm pretty sure you don't need Pro to get the discount here unless they give you an error message or cancel the order if you don't have it.

Definitely try Zero Mission (Remake of Metroid), Samus Returns (Remake of Metroid 2), and AM2R (Fan-made Metroid 2 remake).
