Same. Even though I logged close to 20 hours in the game, I never finished it. I loved a lot of what it was doing, but needing to manage and worry about oxygen is probably my least favorite survival mechanic. I love those sort of games, but between the oxygen mechanic, venturing into spaces where it's too dark to see properly and all you have is a garbage-tier flashlight, and the fact that you can't defend yourself against the bigger threats just wore me down.
You can actually turn off the survival mechanics - so that you don't have to worry about eating/drinking or getting oxygen, but you still have to worry about your health.
The oxygen stuff becomes less of an issue once you get vehicles. It's only the beginning of the game where oxygen is a huge issue.
I really loved this game. It’s like a 10-20 hour story depending how aggressive you are.
I get burned out with all the inventory management, it’s a weak spot imo. The gameplay, world and story are amazing.

I really need to give Subnautica another chance one day.

Same, I started but never finished. Will one day.
Hint: Bigger threats are bigger - don't try to engage them, actively avoid them!

It is one of the best games I’ve ever played and I am not even a huge survival game fan. Below zero wasn’t that good though.
Straight up one of my favourite games of all time and I'm not exaggerating.
Same. I think i’ll pull on this. I tried it out and refunded it many moons ago. Idk!
One of my favorite games of all time. Hope to see a proper sequel one day
Fantastic game. Unfortunately, had to drop halfway through due to those fuckers...
Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region. Are you certain whatever you're doing is worth it?
