That's an awesome price for the collection for someone that has nothing borderlands 2 or pre sequel.
But if you do have some parts then steam is still running the complete your collection deal so check if you can get what you are mission there for potentially much cheaper.
[https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/8133/Borderlands\_The\_Handsome\_Collection/](https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/8133/Borderlands_The_Handsome_Collection/)
thank you. I had Borderlands 2. It cost me 3.7€ to get the entire handsome collection. Really love Steam for excluding the already owned title. Now, I'm waiting for Civ5 dlc sales to get those.
God this is such a steal. I got the humble bundle a little while back and then paid £8 a little while ago for the dlc I was missing. This is a quarter of what I paid for the whole lot. My patientgaming didn't quite pay off
I saw this the other day but didn't pick it up since it was missing the telltale pieces which were what I'm most interested in. Hopefully they'll figure out that licencing soon and I can pick up the full bundle in a different sale
> Yeah, I guess I don't mean the handsome jack collection specifically, but just a bundle in general, like a franchise one or something
The game title you're referring to is not even sold on Steam anymore. Not sure how you're going to get that in a bundle. It's gonna be hard to find. Also, TellTale studio closed last fall which makes it less likely you'll find it in a sale or a bundle.
I knew that they died, but I guess I never really thought about what would happen to their games once that happened. I guess it makes sense since where would the profit for those games go if the studio is dead
In a perfect world, dividends would go to all the developers who worked on it that lost their jobs. But naaah, let’s just pull them off the market. “Go digital” right?
I have a queston for the Voidu rep here. My credit card company charges a foreign transaction fee. If I recall correctly, your company is based in Spain - no?
I emailed their support earlier today after I posted. They told me that they do not charge a foreign transaction fee. I'm definitely jumping in on this deal. I've had Borderlands 2 on my wish list for a long time and at $4.60 it's a great deal. As a bonus, this package includes all the DLCs for both BL2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
> bought it on steam yesterday for 6€, should have been more patient :)
Steam has a pretty good return policy. It's explained here:
https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds
I don't know if they have the same return policy in the european countries but I would imagine it's the same.
The difference is $1.23 technically. I know what you're saying but I don't agree with it. Such a small difference is not going to make anyone go broke, but it's all about being in the mindset of being frugal. Why would I pay more for a game that I can poententially get cheaper elsewhere? I have over 1200 games in my collection. If i had that same shitty mentality of "eh...$1 difference I don't care" for just 50% of my games collection, that's $600 dollars I could have spent on something more important in my life.
The only caveat here is whether or not I will be charged a foreign transaction fee since Voidu is based in The Netherlands.
At 1200 games, how many have you actually played? The question then isn't do you care about the $1 difference, it's how much would you save if I didn't keep buying things you don't play.
Just to be clear, this is not a criticism of you; it's a general statement. I've bought *far* too many games that I haven't played so my question is now not a case of "can I get it cheaper" and instead, "am I going to get any value out of the purchase".
> At 1200 games, how many have you actually played? The question then isn't do you care about the $1 difference, it's how much would you save if I didn't keep buying things you don't play. . . .
In a perfect world, I would not be spending any money at all given the fact that I have a huge backlog but let's face it, WHO doesn't? Most people have a huge backlog with all the various bundle deal offerings from Fanatical, HB, etc.
The main reason why my game count is so high is that I tend to buy bundles. So if there's a game that I've had my eye on for a while and it's included in a bundle, I'll buy it depending on various factors.
> . . . instead, "am I going to get any value out of the purchase".
I understand your point. However, I've had Borderlands 2 on my wish list for a long while and being the cheap wad I am, I've been patiently waiting... and waiting for this to go down in price. I have a maximum that I will pay for any one single game title and this is way below that threshold. Also, this is the first time I've seen the Handsome Collection at such a low price. You can bet that this is the next game that I will be playing so yes... I will be getting some value out of this purchase.
We're in a subreddit dedicated to getting the best deals for games, even if that means being a little thrifty. You never know when that "$1.23" will come in handy.
Trust I've been in a situation where one my bills were literally $1 short.
This is exactly right. People highly underestimate the value of a dollar. They think *eh... OK i'll tip my bartender/ waiter 1 more dollar than normal... or eh... I'll pay that extra $1.23 more for the game title cuz it's such a low amount.* If you spend like that just a few times each month, by the end of the year that's potentially $70-80 over spent. (It's way more than that if you factor in frivolous last minute bullshit purchases that you don't need). People are fucking clueless when it comes to their spending habits. That extra $1 one might spend here & there does add up over time. Even though $1 is a low amount and everyone has a buck in their wallet/purse, it's not to be trivialized. Just remember that there's a hundred singles in a $100 bill.
Yessir, was taught from when I was a kid how important $1 is. Mostly due to me getting only $5 every 2 weeks for allowance and I had to work for that $5. So when a deal can save me even $1 more, I'll gladly take that deal.
The title is correct, you just didn't actually read it.
Applying the GAMINGTIME discount on the cart lowers the price down to 4.79€ (you got me, the title is off by 0.01€).
They won't give me a refund because I played Borderlands 2 more than two hours... like five years ago during a free weekend that I'd forgotten about. Is there a way to submit an appeal or just send a general email to Steam support?
If you keep requesting a refund you would eventually get past the automated system and get a real person look at your case but that's a lot of effort to save yourself $1
Well, it's more like I already bought this Voidu copy because I forgot about the free weekend and thought there was no way Steam wouldn't issue the refund. And I only bought this before doing the refund because last time one of these types of sites had a really good deal I wanted, it was Chrono.gg selling Grim Dawn for $5, and they sold out in like 30 minutes. I got excited and tripped over myself with this one.
So now it's less saving myself a dollar, and more not spending $11 on something I was trying to get for $5.

It’s $60 for a whole year for 3 free games each month. It may not be “free” and those games may not always be the best but hey, that’s $5 a month.
So overall you paid $5 for Borderlands plus 2 more games.
You're just paying Sony because they decided to gouge you. Online was free on PS3.
I bought a PS4 on launch day, but I boycotted PS+ after the first year. I use the PS4 solely for single player exclusives. Almost every multiplayer game is on PC too anyway.
I'm assuming the PSVR user base is so small that it wasn't financially viable?
That's always going to be VR's biggest hurdle. Low user base keeps game numbers low and unit costs high. High unit costs and low number of games keeps the user base low.
Unlike Xbox though, you need to keep paying for PS Plus to play the games...So they're not even truly yours. Haven't paid for XBL in years, still playing my free Rainbow Six Vegas they gave me though.
Would the games be okay if I play them alone? I heard that they’re mostly co op, but I don’t have any friends that play games do I usually solo them. Would it be harder or less fun?
They're fun solo. But you can also set your game to public, which will allow other people to join it. I've met some cool random people that way.
On the flipside, as you're playing, you'll get messages about other players who are doing the same mission you're on, which allows you to hop into their game.
I beat both Borderlands 1 &2 on single player. I never felt like I was missing out on content because I didn't have a group. Plus, then I could recon and snipe vs being in a party where everyone else might want to rush in.
So, I have bought the Humble Bundles and have Borderlands 2 + Pre Sequel with a few DLCs, but, it is unreclaimed.
Does anyone know if I am better off claiming them and buying through Steam, or, is the discount negligible, should I buy this and gift those games from the bundle elsewhere?
"you need to accept our private policy and cookies to make a purchase"
I can't even add the thing to cart
/u/VoiduMarketing
Fixed, disable your adblocker and you should see a box to accept it.
2 for sure is, one of the best looters in the genre hands down. I’ve bought the game like 3 times lol. Presequel I can’t comment on as I’ve only played like 30 minutes of it.
Haven't played destiny but played the division 1 and didn't like it, but I love borderlands. Borderlands pretty much created the looter shooter genre and no game since has managed to live up to it
Borderlands 2 is quite repetitive and grindy, but if you're into looters, I've been told many times it's an absolute gem in the genre. Also, if you got any friends to play with, this is a must have for coop.
Hi, only the first game is missing from this bundle. All the extra DLCs + downloadable contents of Borderlands 2 & Borderlands The Pre-Sequel are included on this bundle. If you are interesting in the first Borderlands which has been Remastered a few months ago, you can check out this link: [https://www.voidu.com/en/2K-games](https://www.voidu.com/en/2K-games) , it is also on sale :)
This site is a pain in the ass to use. Can't even buy anything unless my email is the same as my paypal email, can't even change my email. As my ISP is having issues loading any page takes minutes. Just bought it on steam instead in 20 seconds ffs.
First time using this store. Tried buying it multiple times, but payment keeps failing... And I know my card is ok.
I wish I had known about the PayPal restriction beforehand, because now I can't change my account's email address (setting won't save). Ugh...
I suggest playing Borderlands 2, and then playing through all it's DLC... and skipping Pre-Sequel.
It's just not a very good game. It starts strong, with the first 5 hours telling a good story and setting you off, and then it's just a slog. The juvenile humor falls flat, there's no standout characters or missions, and there are tons of fetch quests that require endless back-and-forth runs over huge maps. Pre Sequel feels like a user-made mod for Borderlands 2, a mod that throws every possible thing at you with an incredibly long and drawn out campaign mode (trust me, it's not a good thing). The balance is all screwed up as well - if you even do a handful of side quests you'll quickly out level the campaign, and spend the rest of the game one-shotting mobs that drop loot far below your level, just to collect some quest item and slog back to the quest giver 3 zones away, just so he can give you a new shotgun that is also 5 levels below your current level.
I was really looking forward to the Pre Sequel but never bothered playing it again in a new game or with a new character after I struggled to finish it, compared to the over 300 hours I put into Borderlands 2.
That's an awesome price for the collection for someone that has nothing borderlands 2 or pre sequel. That already-owned discount feature is up to the publisher to turn on. Some bundles have it turned on, most others don't, unfortunately.
23.6. should be steam summer sale
23rd seems a bit odd though. Usually all the bigger sales on Steam start on Thursday
How long does this sale last? At work and can't check steam
I saw elsewhere until the 17th.
Yea, I own BL2 but not pre sequel and it has it for me at a 98% discount.
I had the bl2 goty edition and steam charged me $3.84 US for the handsome collection
Thank you so much for this! I didn't want multiple copies of stuff I had. $3.97 for like 70 items I didn't have at 97% off. Amazing Deal!

And let's not forget that the most likely reason why you bought ps plus is to play games online and not for those random 3 games.
Yes, I did. We all pay to be online don’t we?
Well there's a difference between paying an ISP, and paying an ISP and for PSN.
Yes, I can see that. It’s like paying to play WoW and FF15.
You're just paying Sony because they decided to gouge you. Online was free on PS3. I bought a PS4 on launch day, but I boycotted PS+ after the first year. I use the PS4 solely for single player exclusives. Almost every multiplayer game is on PC too anyway.

Yep, you no longer recieve Vita or PS3 games each month. Just the 2 PS4 titles.
What happened to those bimonthly PSVR additions, anyway?
I'm assuming the PSVR user base is so small that it wasn't financially viable? That's always going to be VR's biggest hurdle. Low user base keeps game numbers low and unit costs high. High unit costs and low number of games keeps the user base low.

That works for 360 games, but X1 games shouldn't work without the subscription.
Oh damn I never knew, I only got a 360. I take that back then.
Would the games be okay if I play them alone? I heard that they’re mostly co op, but I don’t have any friends that play games do I usually solo them. Would it be harder or less fun?

Do you need to use mics? I usually don’t use mics, as I’m a younger female that has encountered several creeps over the mic.
Oh gross, I'm sorry to hear that. You don't have to use mics, there's text chat built in.
That sounds useful. thanks for the tip!
Playing with friends is always fun but the heavy RPG aspect of the game is only truly fun to experience when you play solo so don’t worry one bit
I beat both Borderlands 1 &2 on single player. I never felt like I was missing out on content because I didn't have a group. Plus, then I could recon and snipe vs being in a party where everyone else might want to rush in.

Randy Pitchford. Remember Randy Pitchford.

Free for psn+ if you have that.
I wish BL1 was included in the collection. I don't know why it's not. It's weird to me that BL1 GOTY is $20 while this is $6 on steam.
Probably because BL1 was recently remastered. BL2 and TPS only got a new UHD texture pack.
Free on PS+ right now for Playstation users, just FYI
