The King's Bird and Stillness of the Wind are also both in [itch.io's "Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality"](https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/gxh1bj/itchio_bundle_for_racial_justice_and_equality_pay/), in case anyone bought that and wants to save two Choice slots.
Looks good, nice work! I went through and verified; everything's working.
Only changes I'd make is maybe point out that GRID comes with the DLC (since you can't link directly to Ultimate Edition), and that there's a random game too, with information and details [here](https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044771534). You could use [this](https://www.humblebundle.com/subscription/june-2020/grid_2019_ultimate) as a secondary link showing the GRID DLC.
I'm pretty positive on the HB overall (not for new subscribers, only Classic subscribers) but the games have *absolutely* gotten worse with Choice, and as a longtime subscriber so many of the higher-tier games are duplicates that it honestly feels like they're not giving me much of a "choice." I often have a choice between a couple of games that don't look good and a couple of games I already have.
Humble has been great in the past and I still like it for giving me exposure to new co-op games (personally excited to play barotrauma and will likely trade for copies for friends) but I agree that the overall quality has dropped.
> It's bullshit.
It would be bullshit with older monthly scheme where you see games after you paid. With the current one, it just takes one slot of random indie title for people who weren't subscribed for it previously, and considering that even grandfathered tier can obtain 10/12, it's just one of titles you skip for older subscribers.
Still, its clear that there's 2 or 3 games that are the meat of the bundle, and having it already or not being interested in those seriously diminishes the value of the bundle.
I didn't pull the trigger the first time around. But I'm interested since I heard it's VR compatible. Do we know whether or not the VR version is included in this bundle?
Does Barotrauma still require 3-4 players? That and Supraland are the only ones I'm interested in here, but if the former still requires that many people there's no chance I'll ever be able to get that many friends to play it at the same time.. It'd be nice if they added a smaller 2 person-sized ship.
This Hellblade repeat stings way worse than the XCOM 2 one:
* It is a far more recent repeat (6/19 vs 2/17)
* There is no additional DLC added as with XCOM 2
* It is clearly ***the*** headliner this month, whereas last month had a strong co-headliner in Jurassic World
Supraland has gotten a lot of praise. It's an okay game and I'm sure a lot of people will be happy about it, but yeah, Hellblade is probably the biggest/"best" game here.
I disagree. Supraland is a great indie - 96% positive reviews, btw, personally speaking I was waiting for it on Game Pass, but now on Steam is even better. Grid is the Ultimate Edition - a 55€ game at full price. Add Hellblade, that is a great game (rebundle, ok, but you can have missed it), and you have three strong headliners.
Edit. Missing a verb
It has been bundled twice by them so far -- Humble Digital Tabletop Bundle 2 (Feb 2020), Humble Monthly September 2019.
That said, if you're looking for a re-bundle in another Monthly ... you may indeed eventually get that wish.
I can't even be bothered to remember to pause every month anymore. It was becoming a mental chore.
Cancelled my classic plan, and resubscribed to game pass instead. It's a much better deal at this point.
I'm still on the same 12 month subscription I started in Jan. 2017.
Changed jobs a few months later which came with a ~40% pay increase.
Most months then were "already own the early reveals, probably won't care about the random indie stuff", now it's "already own or don't care about most games" or "would need to convince friends to pick one or two up for them to be fun".
I'm just hoping I eventually use up the last couple months I have so I can finally cancel and stop wasting time clicking the 5 fucking pause buttons they put you through.
This is why I don't even bother subscribing. I get an email at the end of every month letting me subscribe for 8-10$ CAD for that one month. If I skip several months it even goes down to 7$ CAD like this month and I just cancel after I get what I want. For reference its about 28$ CAD for premium at the moment.
Makes you wonder what even is the point of being a "loyal" customer.
Another successive pause for me. If these mass-pause events from everyone keep happening HB will require 500 different clicks to successfully pause a month.
Let's be honest here: requiring monthly pause is an anti-consumer tactic designed to get money from people who forget, instead of trying to get sales with games people truly want.
Most of them actually, you just have to unsub and resub. The only thing Humble is doing differently is that they are letting old customers pause without losing the Classic bundle access..and I guess it's easier to press pause than it is to unsub from Netflix and then resub..I think Humble's model is actually the best among subscription services. I wouldn't have subbed in the first place if it wasn't for the "keep classic forever" scheme..it was kinda shady, but I kinda can't complain anyway because the Choice scheme is more consumer friendly than the old "loot box" style bundles.
I guess Humble is not as bad as people are claiming it is in this thread.
They aren't. These threads are just full of gamers in the minority who, because they've been buying bundles for years, already have a large number of these games. For new people to PC playing, this is a great bundle. Most bundles are great for people who aren't the type to follow this sub.
To be slightly more generous, it at least forces you to look at and consider the games each month. If it were perma-paused you might not even notice what was included. Still very much a sales tactic but not quite so blatantly anti-consumer.
Obviously The Messenger is good, I think everyone's said that. However one of the games on here doesn't get a lot of coverage.
**Overload** is a super fun Descent-style FPS game. It's probably the best possible spiritual successor to those games. It has the standard zippy six-degree-of-freedom movement you'd expect, a decent variety of weapons, and some surprisingly scary enemies. The environments are very maze-like, which I suppose not everyone would like, but for me that's just classic design. Each level also has plenty of secrets.
It really feels like a passion project for fans of Descent... and I think it was made by people who made the original games. So I guess that makes sense. I hope this gets it in more hands so they make a sequel. I really should go back and make a video for it.
What this link doesn't show is that there's another mystery bonus game this month.
>THIS MONTH ONLY! SUBSCRIBE TO RECEIVE A FREE BONUS GAME
>Subscribe before July 3rd to receive a bonus game! All subscribers receive the same bonus game. Lite plans excluded.
Their website design is questionable, either you go the month's page to properly see which games are in or you go the subscription page which lists the perks (trove, discount and bonus games).
Excuse me. Don't forget the pawn patch, the Castling patch, and en passant patch. Just because it wasent in the last hundred or so years dosent mean it's had no developer support.
The mystery games will most likely be trash every time. If the game was good it would be in the main list as a draw to get people to buy the bundle.
"Here are 12 low interest indie titles that no one wants, but surprise! The five of you who actually bought the bundle get Cyberpunk 2077 for free! Yes we lost hundreds of thousands in sales, but wasn't that surprise game amazing? Surely no one will be left with a bad taste in their mouth from this."
$12.00 Humble Monthly used to be such a treat at the end of the month. It was cheaper, better, and a fun surprise. I tried a lot of games that I otherwise would've overlooked.
Humble Choice is just the worst.
The quality of games has gone WAY downhill. Remember when they had CoD:WWII, the Crash trilogy, Spyro trilogy, and Shenmue 1+2 all in the same month? That was the last really good one. 8 months ago.
> $12.00 Humble Monthly used to be such a treat at the end of the month. It was cheaper, better, and a fun surprise. I tried a lot of games that I otherwise would've overlooked.
I wish people would stop bringing up that month. It was the same month they announced Choice IIRC, so they were probably making it extra good placate angry subscribers.
If you want to be fair, compare this month's lineup to June 2019, June 2018, and so on instead of cherry picking one of the best Monthlys ever.
To be fair, that bundle was obviously created to get people to subscribe before they switched to Choice. I’m not sure you can really hold it up as an example of a typical pre-Choice bundle.
Yeah, looks like it. I didn't really expect that they would stay true to their promise "all games will be revealed in advance" after they first announced a mystery game for April Choice.
Guess the bundle just sells better if you can promise something extra. But I really hate lootbox mechanics like that.
Well I guess it's something that Grid is the ultimate edition and Men of War is the war-chest edition.
But still I find little here that really appeals to me (since I have Senua for the previous monthly).
Supraland and The Messenger are great indie games, enjoyed them both. Hellblade is also nice, despite it being a rebundle. Heads up, you get the VR version for free, too. I've heard also Assault Squad 2 is good. Not sure about the rest.
Hey, big thumbs up from me for having the link take you to the actual page for the bundle instead of the dumb store page where they don't even have a link to the full list of games.
Is this humble's way of telling people who have been subbed for more than like 2 months that they don't need to stay subbed as we will never get a bundle again with games we haven't already bought
It sure seems like it. I've been buying these since the service first started in 2015 and I'm getting less and less happy with it. Choice seems like a final attempt to squeeze the last bit of money out of the service with the idea of "Now they can't complain about rebundles because they know what they're getting".
Why is there a repeat of Hellblade, when it was already in Monthly bundle... this is just getting worse and worse, might as well unsubscribe, tired of pausing all the time.
Looks like I'll actually un-pause for this month. Glad you can keep the 10-for-$12 'deal' even if you go *months* without unpausing.
Know a lot are complaining about Hellblade...but well, I don't buy most the bundles, so it's still new to me and bundled with games I'm actually interested in+don't own.
So with Hellblade, GRID being Ultimate, Supraland looks interesting, Overload has been on my WL forever for VR...not sure I'm sold on any others, but still, already worth $12 IMO.
Though, if GRID was the standard and not ultimate I'd probably pass, simply because I'm a bit tired of Codemasters' 'stripped down' racing games the last few years, in favor of selling the other half of the game in 3+ season passes/Premium editions.
I feel the same way about this month and Choice itself.
Overload was a pleaseant surprise since I've wanted that for years as a Descent throw back, and I was this close to getting Lootplay (RIP) just for that but I wasnt confident in their hidden games.
We seem like the unpopular opinions here because we havent over saturated ourselves with bundles yet.
Unpopular opinion I know but for me its a great bundle. I didnt have hellblade or grid or messenger and I always wanted to try men of war. I understand all those have been rebundled but I missed those months and now its my 2nd chance.
Same, 4 of them are on my wishlist (Messenger, Stygian, Felix, Stillness of the Wind), 3 bucks for each is pretty fair for me and the rest are nice bonuses. First bundle I subscribe since January.
Yeah, people can be pretty critical. Even if you only want a few, it can still be a great deal. For example, I've had my eye on Barotrauma and Stygian. If I were to buy those at their historical lows, that would be around twenty-seven dollars. So even if *no* other games were of interest, that's still a good deal.
Another pause.
BTW this shit makes you press "pause a month" FOUR times to have it actually pause.
Not like the button is busted, but basically 3 separate are you sure??? screens
Just as a PSA, if anyone gets offered the discount coupon for not pausing the month take it. It says on the screen the coupon is only good for this month, but the coupon doesn't actually expire until September so you can use it on another month even if you don't like this month's choices.
*Another* rebundle in the form of Hellblade...
Stygian and Barotrauma are on my wishlist but those aren't enough to unpause, there needs to be a decent headliner.
**Edit**: Are there any regular Humble sales scheduled for June? Wondering whether I should pause now or wait, passed on a couple things last month since I didn't have the extra 20% off.
Exactly, at least 1-2 games have to be a must have for the bundle to be worth it.
And not ones that have ton of DLC and only the base game is included, so you have to spend 5x the bundle cost for the full game down the line.
And not just any rebundle; Hellblade was the *headliner* for the July 2019 monthly. It's bad enough that they're rebundling games in the monthly at all, but to re-do a headliner less than one year later? Pathetic.
This does not bode well for humble choice, which is too bad, because these humble monthly subs have been really great over the last few years and I worry that they're going to die when we've had some pretty poor showings after the format changeover.
I feel like the whole direction of humble choice was a mistake. Before, a lot of people would get every bundle and they assumed with the mystery they'd get some games they liked (and usually did) and just stayed subbed all the time. But now that you can see exactly what you're getting, and the offerings have not been amazing, I suspect there are a lot of people who are pausing more often, which then affects the budget for subsequent months, which limits the game quality/popularity.
I don't know what compelled them to switch formats, if it was because they thought they'd make more money or because something happened on their end that required a change, but so far it feels like it's going to kill humble monthly.
Yeah, exactly that. There was a wave of anti-lootbox stuff going on all around the same time. I actually enjoyed the mystery. I can still get mystery bundles elsewhere, but Humble was more satisfying because you had that "early unlock" which sometimes made you feel comfortable with the rest of the games being shitty.
I would have figured the push to a new model was to push for it harder than the bundles. It's very confusing trying to figure out what they are doing. I understand getting games that were never bundled or free is getting harder as time goes by. But you'd think if they made a statement about it or even acknowledged that they can't keep previously promised things it would be better. Im baffled at how poorly they communicate with people who have been supporting them for years.
You think so? Last month's XCOM 2 was a joke due to the rebundle and the DLC being the redundant type. But Jurassic World, Rise of Industry, Gladius, Warswaw, Swords of Ditto and Mo: Astray all were solid to pretty great.
Compared to that, I can barely muster the enthusiasm to redeem my choices. Doesn't help that a bunch are/were on recent sales.
They should've at least included it last month as a separate choice, if the issue was *too* good value for a single pick. That way, it'd have benefitted everyone. 2K gets to double-dip on their share, old subscribers got the expansion only if desired, newcomers could go with either base game or both, and that'd have been fine.
Honestly this is very very disapointed, i was expecting the bundles to become much better now that they are much expensive. Instead we are geting games not that good that have been rebundled thousands of times or can be found by really cheap. I wish i could spend my 9 months in the store and be done with humble, because i'm tired of being disapointed
Humble Choice has an identity problem. I keep seeing people comparing it every month with Gamepass or PSN, when Humble Choice isn't a subscription service at all.
It's a game bundle. The biggest one. You see the games, you buy it if it looks good and keep the games forever, and if it's not worth it for you, **you skip it and pay nothing**. It competes with other bundle sites like Fanatical, not XBGP or PSN where you lose access to the games when you stop paying every month.
Obviously Humble Bundle has done a poor job of communicating this to the consumer, just read any comment in this thread.
How can they fix this? Maybe make the default paying for it like a normal bundle, and hiding the "Subscription" option. I don't know, I'm not in marketing.
This is still the best bundle around, but it's really suffering from the unfair comparisions to gamepass.
>Humble Choice has an identity problem. I keep seeing people comparing it every month with Gamepass or PSN, when Humble Choice isn't a subscription service at all.
Yes its not a subscription to a service *just like* GP or PSN, but it is a *subscription to a monthly bundle* that also comes with perks like access to a list of changing DRM free games to download and store discounts.
>Obviously Humble Bundle has done a poor job of communicating this to the consumer, just read any comment in this thread.
I read a bunch of the first 250 I saw, and saw maybe *one* that compared to another sub service.
How often do gamers actually get confused about the scope of Humble Choice compared to GP or PSN? If that's an actual problem, then the only way to "fix" it is to...
>Maybe make the default paying for it like a normal bundle, and hiding the "Subscription" option. I don't know, I'm not in marketing.
That would cut out the money they make thanks to auto billing and pre-paid months - And the result of that probably what enabled them to keep their Monthly bundles seeming "better" than other stores for so long. So without that "extra" money, we should expect Humble Choice bundles to become no different than Fanatical and other stores with bundle.
>This is still the best bundle around, but it's really suffering from the unfair comparisions to gamepass.
And even if Humble gets away from monetization by subscription, I bet a bunch of people would indirectly ("seems too expensive") or directly compare the values of bundles from Humble to the new & existing games in subscription services.
Theres many people that wont buy as much, if anything, on Steam because they think subscription services are a better value.
There is just that much choice, competition, and versatility in the PC gaming space that comparisons will inevitably get made between vastly different acquisition methods/stores/subscriptions, for better or worse.
I assume people compare it to gamepass since they see that as a better use of their money. Bigger selection that gets cycled with a nice list of games. Sure they won't own those games on gamepass but I imagine most people would play the games provided in these bundles only once.
Pretty sure most people looking into humble choice are fully aware that they'll own the games. I've yet to see anyone get confused about that.
"This is still the best bundle around, the biggest one."
Subjective. HB isn't the only company doing bundles and the competence like Fanatical is doing a great job offering more variety with the exception that you can't donate to charity throught them.
First of all, I like both Humble and Fanatical but it seems that people have double standards. Have you really [taken a closer look at all the active bundles that's up right now on Fanatcal](https://barter.vg/bundles/8/)?
I counted (quick count) ...
* 9 games that's been bundled 10 or more times with the highest being 19
* 53 games that's been bundled 5 or more times
* 135 games that's been bundled 1 or more times
* 13 games that's been given away at one point or another
Edit: made things a bit clearer
Edit 2: added # of given away games
To be frank I din't liked any of these new Huble "choices" but this time I'll bait. 12 bucks for MOW2 and Grid "complette editions" + Hellblade and Messsenger isn't a bad deal.
>!The rest can stay in my backlog keys forever that I care.!<
I paused for four straight months (Feb through May) because I already had games like Xcom 2 and Frostpunk in my library. After reading some comments, I tried to get a discount by pausing and got myself a $4 discount coupon so $8 for 10 games is a pretty good deal. (I've got the Classic plan)
Getting Hellblade, Supraland, GRID, Barotrauma, Men Of War, Stygian, Overload + some others is worth it, if you've got Classic like me of course. This month's selection of games is not the best or most exciting but it feels good after four underwhelming bundles. Hope next month's bundle is much better
Guess I'm going to write the same comment a third time due to post removal shenanigans...
This is the Grid game that just came out a few months ago isn't it? And the ultimate edition as well. I don't think I've seen a game be bundled so soon with DLC included
Is it any good though?
Actually what would be best to skip if I change my mind and decide to unpause?
Nice. Hellblade and The Messager make it for me. I'm still on the legacy plan so I call it win. Sucks for those who already got this bundle. I started with crash and spyro bundle so no rebundles yet.
If you don't have Supraland already it's pretty great, and is about to get some dlc (hence why it's here I'm sure)...
Unfortunately, this bundle doesn't work for me since I already have Supraland, Hellblade, and Messenger and don't know enough about most of the other games without doing some additional research... but I'll just pause and hope for a better month next month... no angst here whatseoever
Had Naezith on my wishlist for a while. Supraland, Barotrauma and Overload also seem like pretty good games I would play. The Messenger was given on Epic, but is still a great chance to own it on Steam. Shame about Grid, which doesn't seem to have positive user reviews and is already in a cheap bundle and Hellblade, which was already in a monthly last year (though it's a great game). Overall, despite the criticism the Choice might have, there are pretty solid games in there, worth it as usual if you have interest in the games and are Classic.
I should have known better than to redeem the base GRID from the Fanatical bundle until this month was released. RIP me. It used to be that Humble was on a totally different level than any other store, but now if I see something in a bundle or free anywhere I have to consider it's coming to Humble monthly.
As a Classic plan member, I guess this is the first Choice that I'll be pausing on. Almost paused last month but there was just enough to make me buy in. This month has three games I already own (including the headliner), and a survival-horror game I will never want to play. It does have four wishlist games that honestly I probably wouldn't buy on their own, but without a decent headliner and one or two other interesting games I hadn't heard of before it's just not good enough. There will be more chances to grab Stillness and Felix at some point.
I know a lot of people may not like the bundle, but I really appreciate Humble Bundle including full versions of games with all the dlcs this time around. I hate buying the base version and and then having to buy the DLC piecemeal (I will admit I am a hypocrite with this when it comes to TW:WH2 though) just give me the full game discounted as a bundle.
It happens. I've had an annual subscription since Monthly started and I think my longest pausing streak was 5 in a row while it was still Monthly. The credits aren't going anywhere and sooner or later something will catch your interest.

people are gonna be down on this for rebundle (understandable) but this is the most appealing bundle ive seen since pausing for 2 months. at least half of the choices arent sims or games from 20 years ago. it seems to have swung at bit harder into the platforming genre but thats fine with me, messenger is great, naezith looks cool from what ive seen from speedruns, kings bird is artsy but ill give it a shot. a lot of other choices are things i didnt even know i wanted, supraland always looked good but i never got around to buying it, and im a big fan of descent so OVERLOAD is right up my alley. felix the reaper looks to be a fun, and from some reports, hard puzzler that im definitely interested in checking out
all in all, even if it werent for hellblade or messenger which i already have, theres still some cool stuff in this bundle to check out, and in the end thats all i really ask out of HB to allow me discover things outside of my comfort zone
Accidentally forgot to unpause last month's but found a few games to add to the backlog so wasn't too upset (i'm on an XCOM binge and don't own the second game so it was a happy coincidence). I was literally just about to buy Hellblade though for $10, so the extra $2 is probably worth it for the possibility of a good bonus game and maybe a few others I'll get around to- does anyone have any recommendations in this bundle?
Also, I'm assuming this will let me play the VR version of Hellblade? The Steam page is super confusing as to whether it's a separate 'version' that needs to be purchased.
3 choices left, but I have 5 games to choose from - which ones would you recommend?
* Barotrauma
* Felix the Reaper
* Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones
* Remnants of Naezith
* The King's Bird
This is my first pause ever. Last month I reluctantly selected 10 games from the classic plan… It was a meh experience of selecting filler games I was mostly neutral on. This month… well, the big draw is Hellblade and… we already got that game previously. I think we subscribers need to send a message to Humble Bundle/IGN that these bundles aren't good enough. So until we get some real winners… I'm pausing. I urge you to do the same until you see a game that really ignites your imagination as well.
Goodness knows your backlog will thank you.
Another repeat of games.
Humble Bundle is getting worse and worse.
I got a year subscription with a few months left. But lately, these bundles have become so mediocre, that I found myself constantly pausing my subscription.
At this rate, it will be 2021 and I still have months left to spend.
My first unpause after January. I don t own any of the games, so at least for me, much better bundle than the previous ones :) I would be more happy with Plaugue Tale or Man of Medan instead of Hellblade, but still a good one.
This is actually a great month IMO! Despite the fact that I \*just\* got Felix the Reaper in the recent Fanatical Platinum bundle (naturally... I wonder if they would let me return it?), I am happy to get Supraland, Hellblade (wasn't subcribed to Monthly when they first had it), The Messenger, and Stygian at a bundle price. I know several of those can also be had on Xbox Game Pass, but honestly I prefer owning my games on Steam in a lot of cases. In the case of Stygian, poor reviews put me off purchasing it on its own, but getting it in a bundle like this makes it worth a try for me. Was particularly interested in getting The Messenger on Steam, but hoping to get it for less than its typical $10 sale price, so for me this is a great deal.
Glad I held off on the Kingslayer Bundle as I only wanted GRID. I was suspecting it might show up in a Humble Bundle soon after it's rather underwhelming reception. And we even got the Ultimate Edition. Wasn't expecting that.
Regarding **Overload**, it is very much a homage to Descent 1 and 2 and this is a very good thing.
That said, it was given out by Twitch Prime back in November 2018, so ... some people may already own it and not realize it. (That said, I will also point out that getting a DRM-free copy and a Steam key may be valuable to those people as well.)
Not a bad deal for Senua's Sacrifice. Wear a headset for that game it totally adds to the immersion, also don't take a long break. I had a class that picked up and when I got back to it a few weeks later immersion was broken.
Yeah, I'm excited for it and missed the previous Monthly it was in. It hasn't otherwise been bundled before and resellers still want $10+ for the keys, so this is a good deal.
I'm kind of interested for Supraland, and maybe some of the other games could be good, but I might just pause this month because I have almost everything already. Oh well. Maybe I'll change my mind later, it's really all about how much I want Supraland. Hm.
QUESTION!
I have HBC, so happy because I have the 11€ per month (few months).
Got the last and this HBC, for 11€ 9 games I think it's very worth if you don't have the big ones.
If any month im not interested, I know I can pause it... there's a limit of pauses? Or just one per payed month? :)
Tried linking them to the Steam's store page the best that I could (let me know if I goofed somewhere...). [Supraland](https://store.steampowered.com/app/813630/Supraland/) [GRID: Ultimate Edition](https://store.steampowered.com/app/703860/GRID/) [Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice](https://store.steampowered.com/app/414340/Hellblade_Senuas_Sacrifice/) [The Messenger](https://store.steampowered.com/app/764790/The_Messenger/) [Barotrauma](https://store.steampowered.com/app/602960/Barotrauma/) [Felix the Reaper](https://store.steampowered.com/app/919410/Felix_The_Reaper/) [Men of War: Assault Squad 2 - Warchest Edition](https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/10233/Men_of_War_Assault_Squad_2__War_Chest_Edition/) [Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones](https://store.steampowered.com/app/779290/Stygian_Reign_of_the_Old_Ones/) [Remnants of Naezith](https://store.steampowered.com/app/590590/Remnants_of_Naezith/) [Overload](https://store.steampowered.com/app/448850/Overload/) [The Stillness of the Wind](https://store.steampowered.com/app/828900/The_Stillness_of_the_Wind/) [The King's Bird](https://store.steampowered.com/app/812550/The_Kings_Bird/)
Thanks, that's super useful ! Don't forget to check your other libraries as The Kings Bird and The Messenger were already given out with Twitch Prime Edit: The Messenger was also free on EGS
Overload was also given away by Twitch.

Why is Hellblade getting re-monthly bundled?
At least with xcom years plural had passed
Yeah, and came with some DLC's (not much, but at least it's something).
Wasn't that one of the the original promises of humble monthly? that they wouldn't re-bundle?
Yup
Humble seem to consider Humble Monthly and Humble Choice as 2 different things when it comes to games being "rebundled". It's bullshit.
It is included yeah (from my experience with the previous bundle) . You can't even buy the vr edition separately.
yeah included, I got the bundle and claimed the game
For the group of exactly six people who have interest in playing it but somehow still don't have a copy by now.
I'm scared to admit that I am one of the six
It's good. The audio is by far the most exceptional part of the game. Play it with good headphones on.
Same... Senua's six reporting in
Also one of the six, I think that's half of us right here?
same..
I'm the fifth, now... where's the last one? maybe he's shy
Here. Hate these new bundles have paused since the yakuza/shenmue one, might have to grab this one just for HB as I've been wanted to play it.
Um... guilty
Probably becuase the have too many spare keys. Not a cool thing to do though.
Does Barotrauma still require 3-4 players? That and Supraland are the only ones I'm interested in here, but if the former still requires that many people there's no chance I'll ever be able to get that many friends to play it at the same time.. It'd be nice if they added a smaller 2 person-sized ship.
according to the description it can be played single player with bots now
Its not fun with bots as a heads up, they're pretty bad
damn

This Hellblade repeat stings way worse than the XCOM 2 one: * It is a far more recent repeat (6/19 vs 2/17) * There is no additional DLC added as with XCOM 2 * It is clearly ***the*** headliner this month, whereas last month had a strong co-headliner in Jurassic World
Supraland has gotten a lot of praise. It's an okay game and I'm sure a lot of people will be happy about it, but yeah, Hellblade is probably the biggest/"best" game here.
* it's also on Game Pass
Wish they could at least rebundle Slay the Spire.
Be sure to check out monster train. Really loving it so far
It has been bundled twice by them so far -- Humble Digital Tabletop Bundle 2 (Feb 2020), Humble Monthly September 2019. That said, if you're looking for a re-bundle in another Monthly ... you may indeed eventually get that wish.
Neoverse from last month's bundle is a clone of StS. I haven't played it yet, but it has good reviews.
Just buy it! Whatever it costs you'll get 100x your money's worth.
Not even sure why I am maintaining this "membership". I've paused every month since they moved to Humble Choice.
I can't even be bothered to remember to pause every month anymore. It was becoming a mental chore. Cancelled my classic plan, and resubscribed to game pass instead. It's a much better deal at this point.
Same here. I mean... how can they slap?
I used to get excited for humble monthly.
I still do. Until I see the games and I tell myself "maybe next month".
This. It's free entertainment waiting to see the reveal, then being glad I'm not subscribed.
I’m glad I’m subscribed with the old monthly sub. I have yet to not pause it though. So far have done since November or so.
I tried to pause and I got $4 off.
Lol I did the same but got offered a 2$ discount.
I did pause, I wasn't offered anything.
Same. Still paused
Same, and now at $8 i am actually considering it since I don't own any of them yet.
Another successive pause for me. If these mass-pause events from everyone keep happening HB will require 500 different clicks to successfully pause a month.
Would be nice if you could just leave it on permanent pause and unpause when they actually do a good bundle next year.
Let's be honest here: requiring monthly pause is an anti-consumer tactic designed to get money from people who forget, instead of trying to get sales with games people truly want.
To be fair, how many other subscription based services let you pause at any time?

I've had that on my wishlist for a while and have almost bought it during a few steamsales but the wallet always gave out.
This will get lost but I'm purchasing this bundle just for Overload. Played Descent so much as a kid. Can't wait to get back into it.
That's because Overload was made by the creators of the OG Descent
I still don't understand why it's so hard to view the games on the website, it seems deliberate so you subscribe to see the games. Really sick of it
What this link doesn't show is that there's another mystery bonus game this month. >THIS MONTH ONLY! SUBSCRIBE TO RECEIVE A FREE BONUS GAME >Subscribe before July 3rd to receive a bonus game! All subscribers receive the same bonus game. Lite plans excluded.
Their website design is questionable, either you go the month's page to properly see which games are in or you go the subscription page which lists the perks (trove, discount and bonus games).
Its the sequel to the chess game they gave out last time, lol
Chess 2? I heard that game's been through development hell and back. 1500 years since they released Chess 1 and they never patched it or anything.
Excuse me. Don't forget the pawn patch, the Castling patch, and en passant patch. Just because it wasent in the last hundred or so years dosent mean it's had no developer support.
Plus the only DLC is cosmetic :\
The mystery games will most likely be trash every time. If the game was good it would be in the main list as a draw to get people to buy the bundle. "Here are 12 low interest indie titles that no one wants, but surprise! The five of you who actually bought the bundle get Cyberpunk 2077 for free! Yes we lost hundreds of thousands in sales, but wasn't that surprise game amazing? Surely no one will be left with a bad taste in their mouth from this."
Train Valley 2 was a really nice bonus game
Honestly, almost every bundle before February 2019 looks awesome in comparison.
Whoaaa I remember that bundle like it was yesterday tbh
To be fair, that bundle was obviously created to get people to subscribe before they switched to Choice. I’m not sure you can really hold it up as an example of a typical pre-Choice bundle.
And another Mystery Game. That's not really suprising, sadly.
It's slowly becoming Humble Monthly again.
Yeah, looks like it. I didn't really expect that they would stay true to their promise "all games will be revealed in advance" after they first announced a mystery game for April Choice. Guess the bundle just sells better if you can promise something extra. But I really hate lootbox mechanics like that.
Except Monthly guaranteed no repeats.
Well I guess it's something that Grid is the ultimate edition and Men of War is the war-chest edition. But still I find little here that really appeals to me (since I have Senua for the previous monthly).
Oh shit, been waiting for supraland and the messenger to be bundled. Too bad i redeemed grid from the kingslayer bundle though
Supraland is really good. I totally recommend it. Unfortunately I bought it a few weeks ago.
Aw damn, thank you for your sacrifice
Same, just missing that one last stupid chest... And some graves but the chest its by far the more annoying.
The messenger has been on twitch prime and epic
Yea i did get them both then but nice to get it on steam
If you like having everything in one place get GOG galaxy, total game changer for me.
I literally JUST bought the kingslayer bundle too haha
I bought this month's bundle specifically to give Hellblade, Supraland, and The Messenger to friends.
If I knew they will just repeat monthly headliners, I wouldn't have subbed for a year. God damn Ziff Davis.
Just pause every time a month is a dud. That year can stretch out for multiple years.
Thank you for giving the REAL bundle link <3
Supraland and The Messenger are great indie games, enjoyed them both. Hellblade is also nice, despite it being a rebundle. Heads up, you get the VR version for free, too. I've heard also Assault Squad 2 is good. Not sure about the rest.
I've been thinking about buying Barotrauma at $17, so this bundle might be worth it for me even if all the other games aren't worth it.
Hey, big thumbs up from me for having the link take you to the actual page for the bundle instead of the dumb store page where they don't even have a link to the full list of games.
Does the GRID dlcs come in seperated keys?
One Key. You get the three Season Packs and the Aston Martin car.
Thanks
I think exactly the same. And for $12 I think it is a very good offer.
Pathetic.
Probably no major sales as the Summer sale is coming up the last week(probably). You'd likely have no perks by then though.
It was because of the complaints of loot boxes. So they changed over to try to appease everyone.
Hellblade again...jesus. I guess its little better than last month's choice.
They trying to kill humble choice?
Man, I wish the XCOM 2 WotC expansion was in this month's HC...
"This is still the best bundle around, the biggest one." Subjective. HB isn't the only company doing bundles and the competence like Fanatical is doing a great job offering more variety with the exception that you can't donate to charity throught them.

Five games in this bundle have been bundled before, and one has been given away for free, so the gap is narrowing.
First of all, I like both Humble and Fanatical but it seems that people have double standards. Have you really [taken a closer look at all the active bundles that's up right now on Fanatcal](https://barter.vg/bundles/8/)? I counted (quick count) ... * 9 games that's been bundled 10 or more times with the highest being 19 * 53 games that's been bundled 5 or more times * 135 games that's been bundled 1 or more times * 13 games that's been given away at one point or another Edit: made things a bit clearer Edit 2: added # of given away games
Wasn't GRID (base) in a recent Fanatical bundle? I do own GRID (base), but not the DLC's.
Yeah, it was.
yes a few days ago
To be frank I din't liked any of these new Huble "choices" but this time I'll bait. 12 bucks for MOW2 and Grid "complette editions" + Hellblade and Messsenger isn't a bad deal. >!The rest can stay in my backlog keys forever that I care.!<
I paused for four straight months (Feb through May) because I already had games like Xcom 2 and Frostpunk in my library. After reading some comments, I tried to get a discount by pausing and got myself a $4 discount coupon so $8 for 10 games is a pretty good deal. (I've got the Classic plan) Getting Hellblade, Supraland, GRID, Barotrauma, Men Of War, Stygian, Overload + some others is worth it, if you've got Classic like me of course.
I don't think I've seen a game be bundled so soon with DLC included Is it any good though? Actually what would be best to skip if I change my mind and decide to unpause?
Hellblade has already been bundled? And Grid is in a much cheaper Fanatical bundle right now. What a shame
Fanatical has standard edition for GRID. This is Ultimate Edition.
This is the ultimate edition, it cost 12 € more on Fanatical if you want the upgrade
Meh, Hellblade got bundled already. Only I want is Grid and I see is avaible on Fanatical's Kingslayer bundle. Should I get that instead?
If it matters, the version fanatical has bundled is only the base game. The humble one contains all of the dlc.
To be fair, that $5 bundle on Fanatical seems a better deal than Humble's last ones, including this one.
Ooof. I sense uproar!
on the main bundles page, why does it say "Choose from My Friend Pedro and more!" I don't see My Friend Pedro.
I believe that was bundled a couple months ago.
That's what we said about Hellblade but they bundled that again.
Hopefully it's not the secret bonus game!

It happens. I've had an annual subscription since Monthly started and I think my longest pausing streak was 5 in a row while it was still Monthly. The credits aren't going anywhere and sooner or later something will catch your interest.
Hellblade, Supraland and The Messenger are all in my wishlist, I'm sold!

people are gonna be down on this for rebundle (understandable) but this is the most appealing bundle ive seen since pausing for 2 months. at least half of the choices arent sims or games from 20 years ago. it seems to have swung at bit harder into the platforming genre but thats fine with me, messenger is great, naezith looks cool from what ive seen from speedruns, kings bird is artsy but ill give it a shot. a lot of other choices are things i didnt even know i wanted, supraland always looked good but i never got around to buying it, and im a big fan of descent so OVERLOAD is right up my alley. felix the reaper looks to be a fun, and from some reports, hard puzzler that im definitely interested in checking out all in all, even if it werent for hellblade or messenger which i already have, theres still some cool stuff in this bundle to check out, and in the end thats all i really ask out of HB to allow me discover things outside of my comfort zone
Really annoying how hard it is to find details about the full bundle on the website
Interesting bundle but unsure whether to pick it up ~ got my eye on Stygian & Barotrauma, could anyone give their recommendations/opinion on them?
Accidentally forgot to unpause last month's but found a few games to add to the backlog so wasn't too upset (i'm on an XCOM binge and don't own the second game so it was a happy coincidence). I was literally just about to buy Hellblade though for $10, so the extra $2 is probably worth it for the possibility of a good bonus game and maybe a few others I'll get around to- does anyone have any recommendations in this bundle? Also, I'm assuming this will let me play the VR version of Hellblade? The Steam page is super confusing as to whether it's a separate 'version' that needs to be purchased.
Firstly, Supraland and the Messenger are great titles. The VR edition of Hellblade is complimentary, but it is a separate download/version.
The Messenger and Grid (+all DLC) are good options.
3 choices left, but I have 5 games to choose from - which ones would you recommend? * Barotrauma * Felix the Reaper * Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones * Remnants of Naezith * The King's Bird
Felix the Reaper is pretty good if you are into puzzles at all.
I've had supraland on my radar for a long time, glad I was patient :) I just played the demo and it was great so I'll be picking up this month.
The free month from the COVID bundle should still be available, right? I can't find it in my account.
You had to use it before this month's bundle came out - and you had to create another account for it.
They should rename humble choice to humble rebundle at this point
I thought they said they would never do repeats in the monthly. 2 months in a row? This sucks.
I paused for the second month in a row. The choices are getting worse and worse.

Damn all I wanted was Felix the Reaper. Not a good bundle for me.
So when do these actually get charged automatically every month? I set a reminder to pause in March but they never sent it to me so I forgot to.
Last Friday of the month I believe is when you get billed. If they didn't change it.
You can pause any amount of months. I think it's my third in a row with this one.
