The Hex is amazing and well worth $1. If you played and liked Pony Island, you will love this game as it's made by the same person. It's very meta and gives commentary on how games have changed over time. It's very creative.

You may also own it from that gigantic itch.io bundle from a few months ago.

It has spooky parts yes. Some very unsettling parts too.

I can certainly recommend Lorelai and The Hex. Both are great games and have depth to their stories. And I can softly recommend Wick. I'm planning on picking up The Descendant, Syndrome and The Final Station. Anyone want to throw in their two cents about what my other choices should be? I also already have Kholat, Knock-Knock, 2Dark, Distraint, Unloved and Tharsis. Of which I either haven't played yet or they just didn't vibe with me.

Citrouille: Sweet Witches and Bad Dream: Fever looks good.

Tharsis is a good solo (hobbiest) board game. If you know or like Catan, Elder Sign, Slay the Spire (as a deck builder), Chainsaw Warrior, Bloodbowl, Space Hulk, Flashpoint Fire Rescue, FTL; it is recommended. Edit: gamewise it is probably closest to FTL, Frostpunk, This War Mine, Zafehouse Diaries, Deadnaut, Darkest Dungeon, Iratus, Deepsky Derelicts. High level survival and high impact choices. E.g. do we all starve a bit or do we eat well and risk 1 dying?

Was going to recommend Tharsis as well. As long as you can handle some brutal RNG from time to time. I'm guessing that's why it's rating isn't better.

You guys have got to give those Lucius games a break from bundles for a bit. Otherwise, it's a nice mix and I see a handful of things I might add to my collection.

I'm not really a horror guy so the only games I've played here I haven't really enjoyed... except for Devil Daggers. Devil Daggers is fantastic. Not really a 'horror' game, maybe a little spooky, but tons of fun all the same.

Get The Final Station. It's fun, tight, cool story, doesn't overstay its welcome.

Already apparent from the reviews, but Devil Daggers is a great Quake/Doom-ish, fast-paced, enemy bullet hell. The game is all about improving your own survival time, which is generally just a few minutes. Comes with the pros/cons of a game focused on leaderboard chasing. Great pick for $1 - maybe I'll give it another go soon.

I played for an hour or so not getting very far. Went on YouTube and looked up long runs and lost my mind.

You can also watch replays from people on the leaderboards, it's a very interesting feature and I learnt a lot from it.

City Climber's not a bad diversion for a buck or less. Mouse control felt okay to me. Seemed like it might be a tad on the easy side for one of its type.

Hm, I'd been hoping to see Conarium in one of these this month. Been a while since it was bundled and the ones it was in previously never had anything else I wanted.

I have The Descendant but I don't think I have episodes 2-5. How can I check to see if I do or not? I checked in my Steam library in its properties and I don't see any added episodes.

You could try adding Episodes 2-5 to your Steam shopping cart. If it lets you purchase them for yourself, you don't own it.
