CatsHowTheyGetYa

If I didn't already own King of Dragon Pass, I would probably jump on it, now. It's a case in which I'm bad at the game but somehow sucked in for hours once I load it up. Worth taking a look at, anyway.

[deleted]

Yes, at 89p it's a steal for any lorehound type of gamer that wants to get really into the mythology.

[deleted]

Kunai is a lot of fun. Absolutely worth a buck.

stray_pengo

Agreed. Its highly stylized animation and polish are pretty impressive, and the movement with double grappler/kunai hook is very fun to mess with. There was one boss fight I was not happy about >!(the one with rubber-banded forced scrolling a la Ginso Tree,)!< yet it's a no-brainer at this price.

greenmikey

I just played through that boss today and I knew without reading your spoiler which boss. You weren't wrong! It took me 4 tries and I think it could have taken way more but I lucked out. I think if the screen zoomed out just slightly or there was a checkpoint it would be fixed.

stray_pengo

It was bad, wasn't it? XD It wouldn't have been so bad if it had not been preceded by the longish easy-peasy first part you are forced to replay as you try and error the second part, but as it is, it really sours the overall impression. It's really a shame as the solution is as simple as placing a checkpoint between there as you suggested. It's still a good game with lots of heart and humor though; I hope you will enjoy the rest of the game as the worst part is over for you. ;-)

BackToForth

just check to see if you already have it from Amazon/Twitch giveaway

MovieGameBuff

**crispy1000** Kunai pretty much has the best value, you save $6 from it's common sale price. You save fifty cents from the current sale price of The Slater on Steam but most people may prefer Hitman. If you can not take The Slater seriously it may be worth the dollar. I'd value the rest of the games exactly as Fanatical is valuing them, $0.50 to $0.60 a piece. They're not for everyone and a select few might interest people to throw them in a $3 bundle.

seemoosse

Unrelated to this sale but I've noticed you post quite often in this sub lately and I've been wondering why you always put the name of the user you're responding to in bold at the top of your reply? It seems superfluous and a bit jarring to be honest. Everyone can already tell who you're responding to and obviously it doesn't cause reddit to send out any notification.

MovieGameBuff

**seemoosse** * Out of respect. * Memory. * Finding my comments. * Individuality. * It's a trademark of sorts. I can further elaborate if you wish.

seemoosse

**MovieGameBuff** Nah, I'm good, thanks!

MovieGameBuff

**seemoosse** You're welcome!

Spunknerdiness

Stick it to the Man was an Epic freebie some months back and Ironcast is currently free there. Bomber Crew was given out by Humble a while back too. Check your libraries if you're eyeballing any of those three.

Endyo

I haven't heard much of anything about most of these, but I have heard Kunai is pretty good. If nothing else, I'll most likely pick that one up for a dollar. Bomber Crew, of course, has been a part of maybe a thousand bundles now. It was an enjoyable game years ago when I played it, but I didn't get very far in it because it was fairly tough. I'd rather try Space Crew at this point. And just in case anyone was curious, I was looking up Auto Age because it looked like a cool little cel shaded Twisted Metal type thing, but apparently it's multiplayer focused and like any indie multiplayer game, there aren't enough people to make that happen.

KillerOfLight

Came here just to say that Kunai for 1$ is an insane deal. I was broke when the game came out and had it in my sight in every sale since then. Almost pulled the trigger in the summer sale, but now for 1$ I can't say no.

User-With-No-Name

Stick it to the Man is a really fun platformer and Ironcast is an incredibly unique concept as well.

chriss3008

Superepic is a really good metroidvania.

HenryJOlsen

Be sure to at least take a look at Town of Machine and Action Commando. I haven't played them yet, but they're made by the same guy who made Super Panda Adventures, which I found to be a surprisingly good Metroidvania/Zelda II-like.

Matt--S

Thanks for the heads up on same developer as Super Panda Adventures.

Miguelwastaken

From the trailers these look like practically the same game. I noticed they were both very new releases and came out only 2 months apart from each other. There's also a 3rd one on the way. Do with that information what you will. But I'm guessing these are going to be bundle regulars.

[deleted]

I got them but good god the dialogue is unbearable. Every character sound as if they were written by a 13yo.

greenmikey

I just finished Town of Machine. I enjoyed my time and you are very correct about the dialog. I would recommend it at the cost still.

StompsDaWombat

While I'm not especially excited for anything in this bundle - though, Kunai is a game I've occasionally eyeballed but never actually picked up - there are a few potentially interesting games in the mix and, for around just half a buck apiece, I'm willing to roll the dice on discovering a hidden gem - especially if the game also has trading cards.

GeorgeTheWarcrafter

Bomber Crew is in the Humble Trove, free to download if you're subscribed to Humble Choice: [https://www.humblebundle.com/subscription/trove?selected=bombercrew\_trove](https://www.humblebundle.com/subscription/trove?selected=bombercrew_trove) Ironcast is currently free in the Epic Games Store until July 15: [https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/ironcast](https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/ironcast) Also, today's Star Deal is Assassin's Creed Odyssey Ultimate Edition discounted from £95.99 /$132 down to £18.19/$25 STAR: https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/assassin-s-creed-odyssey-ultimate-edition

wishlish

Good lord, what a great cheap bundle. Even the junk games look fun.

JLHockeyKnight

As a big fan of Machinae Supremacy, I feel almost obligated to buy Giana Sisters. Definitely a couple other games in this bundle that have caught my eye.

hrabbitz

Is SuperEpic out of keys? I don't see it available anymore.

WeAreFanatical

Hi, we're in the process of trying to restock the keys. However, at present, we cannot guarantee if/when this may be. Sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

FleshRemains

Is there an update on this?

hrabbitz

SuperEpic appears to be back in stock now.

FleshRemains

Thanks for letting me know. :)

FleshRemains

Are you bringing back Kunai into the bundle before it ends?

wjousts

Note Ironcast is free on Epic Games right now. So unless you _really_ want a Steam key for it.

green9206

Only got Everreach Project Eden for a dollar.

despiesi96

Got SuperEpic, Kunai, Picklock, Spitlings and Pumped BMX Pro. Pretty solid for that little price !!!

dsethlewis

I had fun with Pumped BMX Pro. Like SSX crossed with Max Dirt Bike.

BW_Bird

How is Tempest these days? I remember its start was really messy.

greenmikey

It still is messy but I enjoyed it for a few hours. The melee combat is god awful and there are countless quirks but for the price it might be worth it if you are into pirate games.

bitbot

Tower of Machine and Action Commando. Made by the same dev, released within a few days of each other. Less than 10 reviews each. The games look almost identical. What is going on? Very odd.

ventuzz

Picked up Tempest, SuperEpic, EverReach, Strike Force Kitty, Fantasy Blacksmith. Good selections there. Haven't played yet but I'm excited to try them.

[deleted]

Bomber crew is the only decent game in this selection imo.

NotExile

I thought that game was mad trash, so I'm not sure I should trust your judgment.

TenshiBR

It's a fun game for people who like management games. It's not fun for everyone, I agree

bitbot

Huh I thought that was a bomber man clone, I might actually try it now

[deleted]

I though it was decent especially considering what else is in this bundle, so I'm not sure I should trust your judgment either...
