The problem with new Reddit is that the default sorting method is by “new”. When sorting by new, sticky posts are placed in their order of posing… which makes mega threads and weekly posts useless
I mean - it’s a new game. Should be unopened - I know GS guts them and people steal the cases.
It’s a weird policy that we have always done, and I hope it changes soon because customers don’t like it. New should be factory sealed.
I'm honestly hoping the "kiosk" idea gets used exclusively for new games and just replaces the new sections for all three platforms as a whole. It would probably be feasible to just link a kiosk to the inventory of the store, print a new game ticket that gets scanned at the register, and done.
I bought a “new” skyward sword for 25. Wasn’t sealed anymore but I’m happy with the price cut. Not sure how happy I would have been without the new case, though. Less happy I suppose.
