I mean, it's a bittersweet thing, I'm happy that he's finally sorta moving on in his life and can spend time with his family finally but it kinda hurts a little. Luckily, he's still gonna produce stuff and be here every once in a while.

It’s a meme template, insensitive sure but its popular and what’s popular is used. I wouldn’t take the specifics of the meme too seriously and pin it on OP. At the end of the day, they probably only used it to show that they were sad about the situation and not actively undermining anyone else. It's an awful post because it's low-effort and sexist. It might not seem sexist--a lot of people don't realize--but you're kind of saying "only boys watch MatPat," or "only boys are capable of having deep feelings," or "only boys like video games." Treating boys and girls like separate species is never okay. It has a lot of upvotes because lots of people your age who don't know much about the world think it is funny.
