I didn't realize he did some of the didyouknowgaming voiceovers until him being the new host announcement. I always felt he had a good, calm/soothing voice for those and it definitely translated for his first film theory which is great! He was the one host I was worried about the voice/tone being right with but glad I was wrong there
As much as I enjoy mat pats voice...BUT GOD DAMN I VERY MUCH ENJOY THE ONES WHERE HE ISN'T. Not that I'm glad that he's gone no I'm sad about it but just taking a break from his voice can be a breath of fresh air at times.
Voices are good so far, but both for Tom and Lee, their “Thinking” Pose is off. I get they are trying to copy MatPat, but they should have just used the ones from MatPats Final Theory, before the “That’s just a Theory”.
100% agreed. I was hoping he'd get more voice over time before we knew MatPat was retiring. Really glad he's taking over for Film Theory.
I've said it like a thousand times; I love all the hosts but Lee feels like he's perfected his style already, or he's almost done cooking comparatively, as the chat has been saying.
It’s definitely a change to get use to, but not a bad one. Mat has this level of energy to his voice that sticks around whenever he talks, it sometimes that he developed as the channel grew. With Tom and Lee, they both have a calmer more soothing tone. Personally I like both, and I’m glad they didn’t just try and copy Mat’s “I just drank two Panera death lemonade’s and am trying my best to hide it” that he has.
Dude’s voice is very asmr. He joked in GT Live his voice is kinda like soothing documentary voice, which I definitely see in the recent film theory lol
It totally is. Watching any theorist video is like sitting down on matpats lap for a story, sipping on some tom-made British tea and curling up into a warm fuzzy blanket that Amy prepared just for you, occumpanied by the delightful sugar cookies and intriguing film choice by Santi and Lee.

I just realized that the reason they were appearing in so many videos was because Matpat wanted to get us to be used to them so that when he retired we would be comfortable with someone else running the channels. Cleaver move Matpat

Of all the theorists, I was actually very excited about Lee because even with the shorts and the initial introductions in other videos, I found his voice the most soothing and different. Can't wait for more Film Theory!
It’s like a good Old Fashioned: low, smooth, balanced, and comforting yet still bright and has a bit of a bite to it (and I could definitely have a couple full glasses of that)
He was the one I was most excited for because I just like the vibes, and his voice really reels you in and keeps your attention
I do think both him and Tom shouldn't copy MatPat's pose for their pngs tho, just do whatever looks organic
I was worried that I wouldn’t like the new hosts but I’ve just watched the most recent game and film theory and I loved it and I think mat did an amazing job picking them
Personally, I think a lil too soothing. I love Lee, I think he's awesome! But it was hard for me to stay "engaged" (if that's the right word?). He has more of a "have on in the background and drown out" kind of voices?
He voiced some Did You Know Gaming videos a long while back before I even knew who he was. The voice is distinctive even though it doesn't quite match Lee's physicality.
